Further, when the UE accesses a cell corresponding to a SCG, the UE may still perform measurement of signals of each cell according to the configuration of the NW when the SCG of the cell is in a deactivated state, so as to perform cell reselection.
Further, the network may send an activation/deactivation command to the UE to cause the SCG to switch between the activated and deactivated states.
Further, after receiving the configuration information of the target SCG, the UE applies a new SCG configuration, and may respond to the MN with a response message to inform the network that the UE correctly receives the configuration information of the target SCG.

Detailed Description
The inventors have found that, when the UE performs a PSCell change (change) procedure, the UE acquires a new SCG, and the new SCG is in an active state. But the new SCG may not need to be used immediately for data transfer, then the SCG is in an active state resulting in additional power consumption. If a subsequent Network (NW) deactivates a new SCG through signaling, additional signaling overhead is caused.
To solve the problem, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for controlling a state of a secondary cell group, including: receiving configuration information of a target secondary cell group when a current secondary cell group enters the target secondary cell group, wherein the configuration information indicates whether the target secondary cell group is deactivated; and setting the state of the target secondary cell group according to the configuration information.
By the method, extra power consumption caused by PSCell change can be avoided.
In order to make the aforementioned objects, features and advantages of the present invention comprehensible, embodiments accompanied with figures are described in detail below.
To solve the above technical problem, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method for controlling a state of a secondary cell group, where the method can be performed by a UE side. For example, it may be performed by a UE capable of operating under EN-DC dual connectivity. Referring to fig. 1, the method includes the following steps S101 and S102, wherein:
step S101, when the current auxiliary cell group enters a target auxiliary cell group, receiving the configuration information of the target auxiliary cell group, wherein the configuration information indicates whether the target auxiliary cell group is deactivated;
the current Secondary Cell Group (SCG) is the SCG currently configured by the UE, and may be activated or deactivated. And the UE moves to another SN cell and reports a measurement report, namely the UE enters a target SCG from the current SCG.
In MR-DC, SCG refers to a set of serving cells associated with SNs, including a PSCell and optionally one or more scells (Secondary cells).
The configuration information of the target SCG is information (at least including the configuration of the PSCell) sent by the MN to the UE and configuring the target SCG for the UE, and the network indicates in the configuration information of the target SCG: after the UE accesses, whether the target SCG is deactivated or not.
Optionally, the configuration information of the target SCG may be included in a Radio Resource Control (RRC) signaling.
And step S102, setting the state of the target auxiliary cell group according to the configuration information.
After receiving the configuration information of the target SCG, the UE sets the state of the target SCG according to the configuration information, that is, the target SCG is in an activated state or a deactivated state.
In MR-DC, SCG refers to a set of serving cells associated with SNs, including a PSCell and optionally one or more scells (Secondary cells).
Optionally, when the SCG is in the deactivated state or the SCG is deactivated, the PSCell and the SCell of the SCG may be put into a sleep state (still in the activated state but performing a sleep (dormant) behavior, the same applies below), the PSCell and the SCell of the SCG may also be put into a deactivated state, a part of cells of the SCG may also be put into the sleep state, and other cells may be put into a deactivated state. The NW understands the state and behavior of the PSCell/SCell consistent with the UE.
By the method, when the UE performs a PSCell change (change) procedure, the UE acquires configuration information of a new SCG (i.e., a target SCG), where the configuration information indicates whether the target secondary cell group is deactivated, and for a case where it is not necessary to immediately (e.g., when the PSCell change is completed or within an appropriate time period after the change is completed) use the SCG to transmit data, the UE may directly deactivate the target SCG after accessing the cell after the target SCG. Thus, additional power consumption caused by the SCG being in an active state can be avoided.
Optionally, when the configuration information indicates that the target secondary cell group is deactivated, if the UE completes random access in the PSCell of the target secondary cell group, the target secondary cell group is switched to a deactivated state.
And if the configuration information indicates that the target SCG is deactivated, the target SCG is switched into a deactivated state after the UE is accessed to the cell in the target SCG. The UE accesses the cell in the target SCG to complete downlink synchronization and Random Access (RA) in the PSCell of the target SCG, and after the Random Access is completed, the UE switches the target SCG into a deactivated state to execute an action in the deactivated state. At this time the NW also considers the SCG to be in the deactivated state.
Optionally, when the configuration information indicates that the target secondary cell group is deactivated and the PSCell of the target secondary cell group does not perform random access, after receiving the configuration information of the target secondary cell group in step S101 in fig. 1, the method further includes: and storing the configuration information of the target auxiliary cell group, and switching the target auxiliary cell group into a deactivation state.
The MN may also instruct the UE not to perform random access in the PSCell of the target secondary cell group while instructing the target SCG to be deactivated. And after receiving the configuration information of the target SCG, the UE stores the configuration of the target SCG and switches the target SCG into a deactivation state. In this case the NW considers the SCG to be in the deactivated state after receiving the response message of the UE.
Optionally, after the transferring the target secondary cell group to the deactivated state, the method further includes: and receiving an activation instruction of the target auxiliary cell group, and switching the target auxiliary cell group into an activated state according to the activation instruction.
The network can send an activation instruction to the UE to enable the UE-configured SCG in the deactivation state to be transferred into the activation state. The UE and the network may use SCG for uplink and downlink data transmission.
Optionally, the method further includes: and when the target auxiliary cell group is in the activated state, receiving a deactivation instruction of the target auxiliary cell group, and switching the target auxiliary cell group into the deactivated state according to the deactivation instruction.
The network can also send a deactivation instruction to the UE so that the SCG of the activation state configured by the UE is transferred into a deactivation state. When there is no need to transmit data via the SCG for a while, the NW may deactivate (or sleep, suspend) the SCG via downlink signaling.
Optionally, the deactivation instruction/activation instruction of the SCG may be sent to the UE in the form of RRC signaling, a Medium Access control element (MAC CE for short), or physical layer signaling.
Optionally, after receiving the configuration information of the target secondary cell group, the method further includes: and sending a response message of the configuration information.
The response message is the configuration information sent by the UE to the MN and used for informing the network that the UE correctly receives the target SCG. And the UE receives the configuration information of the target SCG, applies the new SCG configuration and returns a response message to the MN.
The embodiment of the present invention further provides a method for controlling a state of a secondary cell group, please refer to fig. 2, where the method includes the following steps S201 and S202, where:
step S201, when detecting that the UE enters a target auxiliary cell group, acquiring configuration information of the target auxiliary cell group;
step S202, sending the configuration information of the target auxiliary cell group, wherein the configuration information indicates whether the target auxiliary cell group is deactivated or not, so that the UE sets the state of the target auxiliary cell group according to the configuration information.
Optionally, when the configuration information indicates that the target secondary cell group is deactivated, the target secondary cell group is switched to a deactivated state after the UE completes random access in the PSCell of the target secondary cell group.
Optionally, when the configuration information indicates that the target secondary cell group is deactivated and the PSCell of the target secondary cell group does not perform random access, the target secondary cell group is switched to a deactivated state after the UE receives the configuration information of the target secondary cell group.
Optionally, when the target secondary cell group is in the deactivated state, if data transmission needs to be performed through the target secondary cell group, an instruction for activating the SCG is sent to the UE, so that the UE transfers the target secondary cell group to the activated state according to the activation instruction.
Optionally, when the target secondary cell group is in an activated state, a deactivation instruction of the target secondary cell group is sent to the UE, so that the UE switches the target secondary cell group to a deactivated state according to the deactivation instruction.
Optionally, after sending the configuration information of the target secondary cell group, the method further includes: and receiving a response message of the configuration information sent by the UE.
