Background
The wireless base station needs to cross the network segment to automatically acquire the IP address through DHCP in the telecommunication service, so that the convergence layer device uses DHCP RELAY to realize the DHCP transfer of the cross network segment for the wireless base station. In order to deal with a network application scenario where a large number of addresses are applied in a network protection scenario, the active/standby convergence layer device may use a load balancing method to direct a response packet of the server to the standby convergence layer device, and the standby convergence layer device may broadcast a downlink DHCP response packet to all base stations due to the fact that the standby convergence layer device does not know the output interface information of the user access device, thereby affecting other base stations and even affecting network performance.
