Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present disclosure will be described clearly and completely with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present disclosure, and it is obvious that the embodiments described are only some embodiments of the present disclosure, rather than all embodiments. The following description of at least one exemplary embodiment is merely illustrative in nature and is in no way intended to limit the disclosure, its application, or uses. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments disclosed herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present disclosure.
The present disclosure provides a method for controlling a policy, which is described below in conjunction with fig. 1.
FIG. 1 is a flow chart of some embodiments of a method of controlling a policy of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 1, the method of this embodiment includes: steps S102 to S108. The method of this embodiment may be implemented by a Policy control device provided in the present disclosure, and the Policy control device may be disposed in a PCRF (Policy and Charging Rules Function).
In step S102, attribute information of the user card is acquired.
The user card is, for example, a SIM card, a UICC card, a USIM card, an eSIM card, or another subscriber identity module card used for mobile communication. The attribute information of the user card includes: an identification of a group to which the user card belongs and at least one item of communication status data of the user card. The method can also comprise the following steps: card information of the user card, for example, MDN (Mobile Directory Number), etc. The at least one item of communication status data of the user card comprises, for example: at least one item of on-line or off-line state of the user card, call use information, connection times, flow use information, service type and position information; the call use information includes, for example: at least one of a call duration, a call frequency, a call period (e.g., a preset busy period or idle period). The traffic usage information includes, for example: at least one of flow rate usage and flow rate consumption rate. Different types of communication status data may be obtained according to actual charging requirements, and are not limited to the illustrated example.
The attribute information of the user card may be obtained from a PCEF (Policy and Charging Enforcement Function), for example, a PGW (PDN GateWay), or may be obtained from network elements such as an OCS (Online Charging System), an offline Charging System, and the like, and is not limited to the examples.
In some embodiments, a CCR-I (Credit control creation request) message sent by the PCEF is received, the CCR-I message including attribute information of the subscriber card. The identity of the group to which the subscriber card belongs is obtained from the HSS (home subscriber server) by the PCEF when the subscriber card is online. A CRM (Customer relationship management system) or other service provisioning system may provision a service for a group, and assign a unique identifier to the group as an identifier of the group. The identification of the group may be configured in the Charging Characteristics (Charging Characteristics) field. Each user card in a group corresponds to the identity of the group. The identity of the group may be sent to the HSS for storage. When the user cards in the group are online, the PCEF may obtain the identifier of the group corresponding to the user card from the HSS, may carry the identifier in a CCR-I message, and send the CCR-I message to the policy control device through the GX interface.
The PCEF may not send the identifier of the group, the policy control device may store a correspondence between the identifier of the user card and the identifier of the group, the PCEF carries the identifier of the user card (for example, card information) when sending the CCR-I message, and the policy control device may determine the identifier of the group according to the identifier of the user card. The PCEF may send at least one item of communication status data of the user card to the control means of the policy. Referring to the prior art, the configuration event triggers the PCEF to report various communication status data. For example, when the location of the subscriber card changes, the location information of the subscriber card is reported, when the subscriber card is online or offline, various communication status data are reported, when the traffic of the subscriber card reaches a preset value, traffic usage information is reported, and the like.
In step S104, according to the attribute information of each user card, a statistical value of each item of communication status data of all user cards in the same group is determined as group status information of the group.
And determining each user card belonging to the same group according to the identification of the group of the user cards. When the control device of the policy receives the communication state data of the user card sent by other network elements, the control device can count the group state information of the whole group in real time, or the control device can judge whether the counting time is reached or not aiming at each group state information, and count when the counting time is reached.
The group state information of the group includes, for example: at least one of an online rate or an offline rate of the user cards in the group, call usage statistical information, total connection times, traffic usage statistical information, traffic consumption rate, service usage distribution information, and geographical distribution information. The call usage statistics include, for example: at least one of the total call duration, the total call duration in different time periods, the number of calls in different time periods, the number (or proportion) of the user cards whose call duration exceeds the first call duration, and the number (or proportion) of the user cards whose call duration is lower than the second call duration, but not limited to the examples given. Traffic usage statistics include, for example: at least one of a total amount of traffic usage, a total amount of traffic usage for different periods of time, a number (or proportion) of first user cards whose traffic usage exceeds a first preset amount, and a number (or proportion) of second user cards whose traffic usage is below a second preset amount, but not limited to the examples given. The service usage distribution information includes, for example: the number (or proportion) of the user cards of the different services (or applications), and the traffic usage (or proportion) of the different services (or applications), but are not limited to the examples given. The region distribution information includes: at least one of the number (or ratio) of user cards in different zones (e.g., the preset zone or a zone outside the preset zone), and the traffic usage of the different zones, but not limited to the examples given.
The group status information that needs to be counted may be different for different groups. Since the group state information needs to be matched with the preset policy switching condition subsequently, the group state information can be counted according to the type of the group state information included in the preset policy switching condition.
In step S106, the group state information of the group is matched with a preset policy switching condition, and it is determined whether to switch the current policy corresponding to the group to another policy.
The strategy comprises the following steps: at least one of a charging policy and a control policy; the control strategies include, for example: bandwidth changes, regional traffic limitations, etc. The different preset policy switching conditions correspond to different policy switching manners, for example, the first policy is switched to the second policy, the first policy is switched to the third policy, the second policy is switched, and the like, which are not limited to the examples given above. Different strategies and preset strategy switching conditions are configured according to the requirements of customers when the group service is ordered. Each set of preset strategy switching conditions comprises a preset range corresponding to each item of group state information. The preset ranges corresponding to the same group state information in different preset policy switching conditions may be different. Different preset policy switching conditions may be set for different group state information.
In some embodiments, the group state information of the group is matched with each set of preset policy switching conditions corresponding to the group; and aiming at each group of preset strategy switching conditions, under the condition that one or more items in each group state information exceed the corresponding preset range, determining to switch the current strategy corresponding to the group into other strategies according to the switching mode corresponding to the group of preset strategy switching conditions.
The policies include, for example: for one or more user cards in the group, at least one of stopping service of the user card, adjusting a bandwidth of the user card to a preset bandwidth, setting a threshold of a usage amount of traffic of the user card, setting a threshold of a duration of a call of the user card, and adjusting a billing rate of the user card, but not limited to the examples. I.e. the policy may control parameters such as bandwidth, traffic, call and tariff of the user card. Different policies have different control modes for the user card.
Some embodiments of how to determine whether to switch the current policy corresponding to the group to another policy are described below.
In some embodiments, in a case that the group status information of the group includes traffic usage statistics information, determining a number of first user cards in the group whose traffic usage exceeds a first preset amount, and a number of second user cards whose traffic usage is lower than a second preset amount; the first preset amount is greater than the second preset amount; and under the condition that the number of the first user cards exceeds the corresponding first preset range and the number of the second user cards exceeds the corresponding second preset range, determining to switch the current strategy corresponding to the group into other strategies. Other policies include, for example: and the upper flow limit of the first user card is adjusted up to a first threshold value, and the upper flow limit of the second user card is adjusted down to a second threshold value.
For example, when providing a customer with an internet of vehicles service, an initial subscription of 10 ten thousand cards provides 50M per month of traffic. In use, it is found that 1 million cards exceeds 50M (a first preset amount) of flow rate, and the remaining 9 million card flow rates are rarely used (lower than a second preset amount), i.e. the number of first user cards is 1 million, exceeds a first preset range (e.g. 0-1000), and the number of second user cards is 9 million, exceeds a second preset range (e.g. 0-2000). At this time, the strategy may be switched to adjust the 1 ten thousand cards to 100M (first threshold value) and the remaining 9 ten thousand cards to 40M (second threshold value).
In some embodiments, when the group state information of the group includes a total usage amount of traffic, it is determined whether the total usage amount of traffic exceeds a preset total usage amount, and if so, the current policy corresponding to the group is switched to another policy. Other policies are, for example, charging the part exceeding the preset total amount of usage with a new rate.
In some embodiments, when the group state information of the group includes traffic total usage amounts in different time periods, it is determined whether the total usage amounts in different time periods exceed a preset total usage amount corresponding to the time period, and if so, the current policy corresponding to the group is switched to another policy. Other policies are, for example, charging the part exceeding the preset total usage amount according to a new charging rate corresponding to the time period.
In some embodiments, in the case that the group state information of the group includes geographical distribution information, determining the number of third user cards in an area outside the preset area in the group; under the condition that the number of the third user cards exceeds a corresponding third preset range, determining to switch the current strategy corresponding to the group into other strategies; other policies include, for example: and reducing the bandwidth of the third user card to be the preset bandwidth.
For example, a customer orders 10 ten thousand cards, each card containing a package with 1G traffic, and initially when more than 7 ten thousand online user cards are in a preset area, the current policy is to continuously guarantee that the bandwidth of each user card is 100M. When the number of the user cards (i.e. the third user card) outside the preset area exceeds 3 ten thousand (the third preset range), the strategy is switched, i.e. the bandwidth of the user cards outside the preset area is adjusted to be reduced to 500k.
In some embodiments, when the group state information of the group includes an online rate, it is determined whether the online rate is lower than a preset online rate, and if so, a current policy corresponding to the group is switched to another policy. Other strategies are, for example, increasing the bandwidth of the online user card to a certain preset bandwidth, or increasing the upper limit of the traffic usage of the online user card. In the case that the group status information of the group includes the offline rate, a similar policy switching manner may be employed.
In some embodiments, in the case that the group state information of the group includes a traffic consumption rate, it is determined whether the traffic consumption rate exceeds a preset consumption rate, and if so, a current policy corresponding to the group is switched to another policy. Other policies are for example to reduce the bandwidth of the user card to a certain preset bandwidth.
In some embodiments, in a case that the group state information of the group includes service usage distribution information, it is determined whether traffic usage amounts of different services (or applications) exceed a preset usage amount, and if the traffic usage amount of one or more services (or applications) exceeds the preset usage amount, a current policy corresponding to the group is switched to another policy. The other policy is, for example, to reduce the bandwidth corresponding to the one or more services to a certain preset bandwidth.
In the case that the group status information of the group includes the call usage statistical information, the group status information of the charging group may be processed with reference to the case that the group status information of the charging group includes the traffic usage statistical information, which is not described herein again.
The group state information of the group may further include communication state data of any one of the user cards in the group, and the preset policy switching condition may also be set for any one of the user cards in the group. For example, for each user card in the group, it is determined whether the traffic usage amount of the user card exceeds a threshold included in the preset policy switching condition, and if the traffic usage amount of one or more user cards exceeds the threshold, the bandwidth of the one or more user cards is reduced, which is not limited to the illustrated example.
In step S108, when the current policy is switched to another policy, the switched policy is sent to the corresponding enforcement network element.
The enforcement network element is, for example, PCEF, OCS, offline charging system, etc. If the handover policy is not required, knowledge information of the non-handover policy may be sent to the enforcement network element.
In the above embodiment, a group identifier is added to the user card, communication status data of all the user cards in the same group is monitored, group status information of the group is obtained, whether the current policy is switched to another policy is determined by matching the group status information with a preset policy switching condition, and the switched policy is sent to the corresponding execution network element under the switching condition. The scheme of the embodiment provides a method for controlling and switching group strategies. The user cards in the same group can be uniformly controlled by using one strategy, and the individual control and operation of each user card in the group are not needed, so that the management and control efficiency of the strategy of the group is improved, and the flexibility and the accuracy of charging and controlling the group are improved.
In addition, the scheme of the embodiment can flexibly and dynamically acquire and monitor the multi-dimensional information of the group, such as various dimensions of online rate, service use condition, area distribution and the like, so that the group can be more flexibly and accurately controlled and charged. Further embodiments of the strategy control method of the present disclosure are described below in conjunction with fig. 2.
FIG. 2 is a flow chart of other embodiments of a method of controlling a policy of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 2, the method of this embodiment includes: steps S202 to S208.
In step S202, group configuration information sent by the service system is received.
The group configuration information includes, for example: the group identification, the user card identification included in the group, the multiple strategies of the group and the switching modes of different strategies correspond to different preset strategy switching conditions. The business service system, such as CRM, service opening system, etc. issues the group configuration command in the form of work order or instruction.
