Abstract

The invention discloses a preparation method of a silane modified water-based acrylic coating. The method mainly comprises the following steps: the preparation method comprises the steps of preparing the water-based acrylic paint in advance, adjusting the pH value before construction, compounding the modifier silane cross-linking agent with the water-based acrylic paint, stirring uniformly, and then constructing. Firstly, reacting a modifier silane cross-linking agent with water in the water-based acrylic coating to hydrolyze to form a silicon-oxygen group; then the silicon hydroxyl groups are mutually condensed to form a cross-linked network structure, thereby improving the wear resistance, water resistance and mechanical properties of the water-based acrylic coating. Meanwhile, siloxane formed by hydrolysis has excellent interaction force with metal, inorganic, wood and polar polymer, so that the adhesive force of the coating on the base material can be obviously improved. The modification technology is simple, convenient to construct, high in curing speed and obvious in improvement of the performance of the coating, and therefore, the modification technology has a good application development prospect.

Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of coatings, and particularly relates to a preparation method of a silane modified water-based acrylic coating which has the advantages of high adhesive force, high wear resistance, good water resistance and high mechanical property.
Background
The paint has the functions of protection, decoration, color marking and the like, and is widely applied to social life, industry and agriculture. Most of the traditional coatings are solvent-based, and a large amount of organic volatile matters are generated in the preparation and use processes, so that the environmental pollution is caused, and the harm is caused to human bodies. With the increasing importance of society on environmental protection, the requirements on the safety and environmental protection of the production process, construction links and use space of the coating are becoming strict. The water-based paint is an environment-friendly paint due to the low content of organic volatile matters. Therefore, the development of low-pollution, high-performance and multifunctional water-based paint is a new development direction of the current paint industry. Among them, the water-based acrylic coating is popular with consumers due to the advantages of environmental protection, good weather resistance, simple synthesis process, good comprehensive performance and the like. However, the existing water-based acrylic paint has the defects of low adhesive force, poor water resistance, weak mechanical property and the like, and the application and development of the paint are greatly limited.
Disclosure of Invention
Aiming at the problems in the prior art, the invention aims to provide a preparation method of a silane modified water-based acrylic coating so as to improve the adhesive force, the wear resistance, the water resistance and the mechanical property of the acrylic coating. In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides the following technical solutions: adding a proper amount of silane cross-linking agent into the conventional water-based acrylic coating, and adjusting the pH value to ensure that the hydrolysis crosslinking progress of the silane cross-linking agent is matched with the curing speed of the coating, thereby finally forming the silane cross-linked network reinforced modified water-based acrylic coating. The prepared modified water-based acrylic coating has the advantages of strong adhesive force, wear resistance, good water resistance, high mechanical property and the like.
A preparation method of a silane modified water-based acrylic coating specifically comprises the following steps:
1) preparing a water-based acrylic coating;
2) adjusting the pH value of the aqueous acrylic coating;
3) compounding and mixing a silane crosslinking agent and the coating;
the modifier silane cross-linking agent reacts with water in the water-based acrylic coating to hydrolyze to form a silicon-oxygen group; then the silicon hydroxyl groups are mutually condensed to form a cross-linked network structure.
Further, the components of the water-based acrylic paint are as follows: aqueous acrylic emulsion: 60-80 parts; pigment and filler: 18-36 parts; surfactant (b): 1-2 parts; defoaming agent: 0.5-1 part; leveling agent: 0.5-1 part;

Analysis of the reaction mechanism of the silane modified water-based acrylic coating: firstly, reacting a modifier silane cross-linking agent with water in the water-based acrylic coating to hydrolyze to form a silicon-oxygen group; then the silicon hydroxyl groups are mutually condensed to form a cross-linked network structure, thereby improving the wear resistance, water resistance and mechanical properties of the water-based acrylic coating. Meanwhile, siloxane formed by hydrolysis has excellent interaction force with metal, inorganic, wood and polar polymer, so that the adhesive force of the coating on the base material can be obviously improved.
The organosilane contains siloxane and a long carbon chain structure, has dual properties of inorganic and organic, is used for modifying the water-based acrylic coating, introduces Si-O bonds, has high chemical bond energy of the siloxane (Si-O-Si) and compact structure, greatly improves the molecular stability and improves the water resistance and solvent resistance of the coating. Meanwhile, the organosilane has good adhesive force, good molecular stability, low surface tension, small viscosity-temperature coefficient, high and low temperature resistance, good electrical insulation property, good oxidation resistance and weather resistance, and improves the adhesive force, high and low temperature resistance, weather resistance, oxidation resistance, electrical insulation property and other properties of the coating.
Compared with the prior art, the water-based acrylic coating prepared by the technology has the following beneficial effects:
1. according to the invention, a silane cross-linking agent is used as a reinforcing modifier for the first time and is applied to the water-based acrylic coating, the silane cross-linking agent and the emulsion are blended and compounded, and the mixture is hydrolyzed and crosslinked to form a semi-interpenetrating network structure with resin in the emulsion, so that the silane cross-linked network reinforced water-based acrylic modified coating is prepared.
2. The silane crosslinking reinforced modified water-based acrylic coating prepared by the invention has a silane crosslinking network structure, and can obviously improve the wear resistance, water resistance and mechanical properties of the coating.
3. The silane crosslinking enhanced modified water-based acrylic coating prepared by the invention has excellent interaction force with base materials such as metal, ceramic, wood, polar polymer and the like due to silicon-oxygen bonds formed by hydrolysis of the silane crosslinking agent, so that the adhesive force of the coating can be obviously improved.
4. The invention has simple process and easy industrial operation, and can be constructed only by uniformly blending the silane cross-linking agent and the water-based acrylic coating at a proper pH value.
5. The silane crosslinking reinforced modified water-based acrylic coating prepared by the invention is high in crosslinking curing speed and can be cured within 15 min-2 h.
In conclusion, the method has the technical advantages and is easy to industrialize; the obtained modified coating has good wear resistance, water resistance, adhesive force and mechanical property. Therefore, the invention has wide industrialization and market prospects and has better economic and social benefits.
Detailed Description
The present invention is further illustrated by the following examples, which should not be construed as limiting the scope of the invention.
In the following examples, acetic acid was used to adjust acidity and triethylamine was used to adjust basicity.
Example 1:
the preparation method of the silane modified water-based acrylic coating comprises the following steps:
1) aqueous acrylic emulsion: 60 parts; calcium carbonate: 36 parts of (A); surfactant stearic acid: 2 parts of (1); defoamer polydimethylsiloxane: 1 part; leveling agent polyether modified polysiloxane: 1 part; stirring and mixing uniformly;
2) adjusting the pH value of the coating in the step 1 to be acidic 4;
3) 3 parts of silane cross-linking agent bis- (3- (triethoxysilyl) propyl) -disulfide are mixed into the coating and stirred evenly;
4) and (5) performing construction, and finishing the construction within 60 min.
Example 2:
the preparation method of the silane modified water-based acrylic coating comprises the following steps:
1) aqueous acrylic emulsion: 80 parts of a mixture; titanium dioxide: 18 parts of a mixture; surfactant sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate: 1 part; defoamer polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene amine ether: 0.5 part; leveling agent polyether modified polysiloxane: 0.5 part; stirring and mixing uniformly;
2) adjusting the pH value of the coating in the step 1 to be neutral 7;
3) 8 parts of bis (3-triethoxysilylpropyl) amine serving as a silane crosslinking agent is mixed into the coating and stirred uniformly;
4) and (5) performing construction, wherein the construction is finished within 15 min.
Example 3:
the preparation method of the silane modified water-based acrylic coating comprises the following steps:
1) aqueous acrylic emulsion: 70 parts of (B); silicon dioxide: 27 parts of (1); surfactant cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide: 1.5 parts; defoamer polyoxypropylene polyoxyethylene glyceryl ether: 0.75 part; leveling agent polyether modified polysiloxane: 0.75 part; stirring and mixing uniformly;
2) adjusting the pH value of the coating in the step 1 to be alkaline 10;
3) 5 parts of 1, 2-bis (triethoxysilyl) ethane serving as a silane crosslinking agent are mixed into the coating and stirred uniformly;
4) and (5) performing construction, wherein the construction is finished within 30 min.
Example 4:
the preparation method of the silane modified water-based acrylic coating comprises the following steps:
1) aqueous acrylic emulsion: 70 parts of (B); kaolin: 27 parts of (1); surfactant cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide: 1.5 parts; defoamer polyoxypropylene polyoxyethylene glyceryl ether: 0.75 part; leveling agent polyether modified polysiloxane: 0.75 part; stirring and mixing uniformly;
2) adjusting the pH value of the coating in the step 1 to be alkaline 8;
3) 5 parts of silane cross-linking agent bis- (3- (triethoxysilyl) propyl) -tetrasulfide are mixed into the coating and stirred evenly;
4) and (5) performing construction, wherein the construction is finished within 90 min.
Example 5:
the preparation method of the silane modified water-based acrylic coating comprises the following steps:
1) aqueous acrylic emulsion: 65 parts of (1); mica powder: 33 parts of (B); surfactant sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate: 1 part; defoamer polyoxypropylene polyoxyethylene glyceryl ether: 0.5 part; leveling agent polyether modified polysiloxane: 0.5 part; stirring and mixing uniformly;
2) adjusting the pH value of the coating in the step 1 to be alkaline 6;
3) 5 parts of 1, 2-bis (trimethoxysilyl) ethane serving as a silane crosslinking agent is mixed into the coating and stirred uniformly;
4) and (5) performing construction, and finishing the construction within 120 min.

1. A preparation method of silane modified water-based acrylic paint is characterized by comprising the following steps:
1) preparing a water-based acrylic coating;
2) adjusting the pH value of the aqueous acrylic coating;
3) compounding and mixing a modifier silane cross-linking agent and the coating;
the modifier silane cross-linking agent reacts with water in the water-based acrylic coating to hydrolyze to form a silicon-oxygen group; then the silicon hydroxyl groups are mutually condensed to form a cross-linked network structure.
2. The method for preparing the silane modified water-based acrylic paint as claimed in claim 1, wherein the components of the water-based acrylic paint are as follows:
aqueous acrylic emulsion: 60-80 parts; pigment and filler: 18-36 parts; surfactant (b): 1-2 parts of a defoaming agent: 0.5-1 part; leveling agent: 0.5-1 part.

The method for preparing silane modified water-based acrylic paint as claimed in claim 2, wherein the pigment and filler is one of calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, silica, kaolin, talc and mica powder; the surfactant is at least one of stearic acid, sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate and a quaternary ammonium compound (cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide); the defoaming agent is at least one of polydimethylsiloxane, polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene ether and polyoxypropylene polyoxyethylene glycerol ether; the leveling agent is polyether modified polysiloxane polymer.
4. The method for preparing the silane modified water-based acrylic paint as claimed in claim 1, wherein the pH value of the paint in the step 2) is adjusted within the range of 4-10.
5. The method for preparing the silane-modified water-based acrylic coating as claimed in claim 4, wherein the pH value is adjusted by acetic acid and by triethylamine.

The method of claim 1, wherein the silane crosslinking agent is one of bis- (3- (triethoxysilane) propyl) -disulfide, bis- (3- (triethoxysilane) propyl) -tetrasulfide, bis (3-triethoxysilylpropyl) amine, bis (3-trimethoxysilylpropyl) amine, 1, 2-bis (triethoxysilyl) ethane, or 1, 2-bis (trimethoxysilyl) ethane.
7. The preparation method of the silane-modified water-based acrylic coating as claimed in claim 1, wherein the mass ratio of the silane cross-linking agent to the water-based acrylic emulsion in the step 3) is 1:10 to 1: 20.
