Description

Clamping device
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a spring-type clamp device using a coil spring suitable for use in writing instruments and the like.
Background
Conventionally, as such a clip device, a clip device in which a clip made of a metal plate is provided on a writing instrument main body is known (for example, see patent document 1).
The clamp device supports a portion near the base end of the clip on the writing instrument main body, and biases the base end portion of the clip in a direction in which the clip is closed by a coil spring.
Specifically, the clip is a metal plate member integrally including an elongated outer plate and side plates extending from both side edges of the outer plate in the direction of the writing instrument main body, and rotatably supports the extending end portions of the side plates in the vicinity of the base end to the writing instrument main body. A spring guide is provided in a portion of the writing instrument body corresponding to the base end portion of the clip in a protruding manner, and a coil spring held by the spring guide is brought into contact with an inner surface of the outer plate of the clip.
In the clip device described in patent document 1, since the spring guide protrudes from the outer surface of the writing instrument body and the shaft portion for rotatably supporting the clip is formed on the outer surface of the writing instrument body, the appearance is impaired in this state, and a cover for covering this portion is additionally required. Therefore, the boundary between the cover and the writing instrument main body becomes conspicuous, and the degree of freedom in design is restricted.
In order to facilitate the contact of the coil spring with the inner surface of the outer panel of the clip, the clip device needs to be provided so as to enclose the clip with the spring guide projecting in the vicinity of the inner surface of the outer panel. Therefore, the width of the clip needs to be set to a certain level or more, and from this point of view, the degree of freedom of design is also restricted.

As shown in fig. 1, a writing instrument 1 of this embodiment includes a writing instrument body 2 and a cover 3 attached to a distal end of the writing instrument body 2, and the clamp device a of the present invention is applied to the cover 3.
As shown in fig. 2 to 5, the clip device a includes a case 4 (main body) of the cover 3 in which a spring guide 81 is housed, a clip 5 in which a proximal end portion 5b is relatively rotatably supported by the case 4, and a coil spring 6 which is held by the spring guide 81 and biases a proximal end portion 5a of the clip 5, wherein the clip 5 is a member made of a metal plate having a side plate 52 (extending plate) extending from an edge 51a of the exterior plate 51 in the direction of the case 4 (main body), and the coil spring 6 is brought into contact with a biasing portion O formed by bending an extending end portion 521 of the side plate 52 (extending plate). In fig. 2, the writing instrument body 2 is indicated by a phantom line.
As shown in fig. 3 to 6, the side plates 52 (extension plates) of the clip 5 are a pair of members extending from both side edges 51a of the exterior plate 51 toward the housing 4 (main body). As shown in fig. 2, 4 and 6, the proximal end portion 5a of the clip 5 includes offset portions O formed by bending the first extended end portions 521 of the two side plates 52 inward, and as shown in fig. 2 and 3, the proximal end portion 5b of the clip 5 is a portion in which the second extended end portions 522 of the two side plates 52 forming the relative rotation center portion C are directly inserted into the through-hole 7a without being bent. The biasing portion O of the clip 5 against which the coil spring 6 abuts is abutted with the relative rotation center portion C of the clip 5 with respect to the housing 4 (main body).
As shown in fig. 2 to 5, a through hole 7a for receiving the offset portion O and the relative rotation center portion C is provided on the housing 4 (main body) side. The housing 4 (main body) includes an outer member 7 and an inner member 8 disposed in the outer member 7, and the spring guide 81 is provided in the inner member 8.
As shown in fig. 2, 3, 5, and 6, the inner member 8 includes the support portion 82 interposed between the two second extending end portions 522 of the clip 5 inserted into the through hole 7a in a surface contact state, and the second extending end portions 522 of the clip 5 are relatively rotatably supported by the support portion 82. The two second extending end portions 522 of the clip 5 inserted into the through hole 7a are sandwiched between the inner edge 7a1 of the through hole 7a and the outer side surface 82a of the support portion 82.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 2 to 5, the cover 3 includes a housing 4 (main body) in which a spring guide 81 is housed, and a clip 5 in which a proximal end portion 5b is relatively rotatably supported by the housing 4.
As shown in fig. 2 to 5, the housing 4 (main body) includes an outer member 7 and an inner member 8 disposed inside the outer member 7.
As shown in fig. 2 to 5, the outer member 7 is a cylindrical member having a closed distal end, and has, for example, rectangular through holes 7a at portions corresponding to the proximal end portion 5a and the proximal end vicinity portion 5b of the clip 5.
The inner member 8 is integrally formed of synthetic resin, and as shown in fig. 2 and 5, includes a pen tip housing area 8a having a cylindrical shape and a clip attachment area 8b provided on the tip end side of the pen tip housing area 8 a.
As shown in fig. 2 and 5, a locking claw 83 for elastically engaging with the locking portion 7b of the outer member 7 to prevent the inner member 8 from coming off the outer member 7 is provided on the outer periphery of the pen tip housing area 8 a. A separate pen tip receiving member 9 is disposed at the rear end of the pen tip housing area 8 a.
As shown in fig. 2 to 6, a spring guide 81 and a support portion 82 are integrally provided in the clip attachment region 8 b. More specifically, as shown in fig. 2 and 4 to 6, the spring guide 81 is a bottomed cylindrical member provided at a portion corresponding to the base end portion 5a of the clip 5, and the base end side of the coil spring 6 is held by the spring guide 81. The spring guide 81 does not protrude outward and is inserted into the through hole 7 a. As shown in fig. 2, 3, 5, and 6, the support portion 82 is a wall body provided in a pair at a portion corresponding to the proximal end portion 5b of the clip 5 and having a distal end side connected to the spring guide 81, and the shaft 821 engaged with the shaft hole 522a forming the relative rotation center portion C of the clip 5 is provided on both outer side surfaces 82a of the support portion 82 so as to protrude outward. In an upper half portion of the shaft 821, an inclined surface 821a for guiding a second extending end portion 522 of the side plate 52 (extending plate) of the clip 5 provided with the shaft hole 522a is provided. Outer walls 84 extending from the tip end of the pen tip housing area 8a are provided in pairs outside the spring guide 81 and the support portion 82, and the spring guide 81 and the support portion 82 are integrally connected to the outer walls 84 via ribs 85.
As shown in fig. 2 to 6, the clip 5 is a metal plate member having an elongated outer plate 51 extending in the longitudinal direction of the writing instrument 1, side plates 52 (extension plates) extending from both side edges 51a of the outer plate 51 in the housing 4 (main body) direction, and end plates 53 extending from a base end 51b of the outer plate 51 in the housing 4 (main body) direction. As described above, the proximal end portion 5a of the clip 5 includes the offset portion O formed by bending the first extended end portions 521 of the side plates 52 inward, and the proximal end portion 5b of the clip 5 is a portion in which the second extended end portions 522 of the side plates 52 forming the relative rotation center portion C are directly inserted into the through hole 7a without being bent. The biasing portion O of the clip 5 against which the coil spring 6 abuts is abutted with the relative rotation center portion C of the clip 5 with respect to the housing 4 (main body). The second extending end 522 is provided with a shaft hole 522a engageable with a shaft 821 formed in the support portion 82, and the clip 5 is relatively rotatably supported by the housing 4 (main body). A bulging portion 54 formed by folding back the distal edge portion of the exterior plate 51 is provided at the distal end portion 5C of the clip 5, and the bulging portion 54 comes into contact with and separates from the housing 4 (main body) of the cover 3 when the clip 5 is rotated about the relative rotation center portion C. The coil spring 6 biases the clip 5 in a direction of pressing the bulging portion 54 against the housing 4 (main body) of the cover 3.
As described above, according to the present embodiment, the clip 5 can be easily configured by bending the metal plate, and the restriction on the design is small. Further, since it is not necessary to provide a special member for covering the clip attachment region 8b and to enclose the coil spring 6 and the spring guide 81 in the clip 5, the width of the clip 5 can be reduced, and the degree of freedom in design can be improved.
In addition, since the offset portion O is abutted to the relative rotation center portion C, the clip 5 can be made compact.
Further, since the through hole 7a for receiving the offset portion O and the relative rotation center portion C is provided on the housing 4 (main body) side, the through hole 7a can be minimized while the offset portion O and the relative rotation center portion C are adjacent to each other.
Further, the base end portion 5a of the clip 5 includes the biasing portion O formed by bending the first extending end portions 521 of the both side plates 52 inward, respectively, whereby the strength of the biasing portion O against which the coil spring 6 abuts can be secured. On the other hand, the proximal end portion 5b of the clip 5 is a portion in which the second extending end portions 522 of the two side plates 52 forming the relative rotation center portion C are directly inserted into the through hole 7a of the housing 4 without being bent, and therefore, the relative rotation center portion C is easily elastically deformed and easily assembled. That is, when the second extending end portions 522 of the two side plates 52 are inserted into the through holes 7a and are inwardly inserted along the outer side surfaces 82a of the support portions 82, first, the distal edges of the second extending end portions 522 are guided by the inclined surfaces 821a of the shafts 821 of the support portions 82 and elastically deformed in the direction in which the second extending end portions 522 are separated from each other, and finally, the shafts 821 are fitted into the shaft holes 522a, whereby the second extending end portions 522 are restored to the original parallel state, and the assembly is completed. In addition, in the assembled state, since the two second extending end portions 522 are joined to the outer side surface 82a of the support portion 82, the tip end side of the clip 5 can be suppressed from swinging in the direction orthogonal to the axial center of the writing instrument 1. In particular, in this embodiment, the two second extending end portions 522 of the clip 5 inserted into the through-hole 7a are sandwiched between the inner edge 7a1 of the through-hole 7a and the outer side surface 82a of the support portion 82, and therefore, the swing of the clip 5 can be suppressed particularly remarkably.
Further, since the case 4 (main body) includes the outer member 7 and the inner member 8 disposed in the outer member 7, and the spring guide 81 is provided in the inner member 8, the spring guide 81 can be easily housed in the case 4 (main body).
Further, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments.
For example, in the above-described embodiment, the extended end portions of the both side plates of the clip are bent inward respectively to provide the biased portion at the base end portion of the clip, but as shown in fig. 7 and 8, it is needless to say that the biased portion O may be formed by folding back the extended end portion of the end plate 53 (extended plate) extending from the base end 51b of the exterior plate 51 of the clip 5 in the direction of the case 4 (main body) toward the tip end side. Since the other portions of the writing instrument W1 shown in fig. 6 and 7 have the same configurations as those of the writing instrument 1 described with reference to fig. 1 to 6, the same reference numerals are assigned thereto and the description thereof is omitted.
In the above-described embodiment, the present invention is applied to a writing instrument including a writing instrument main body and a cap attached to a distal end of the writing instrument main body, and a case of the cap is used as a main body of a clamp device. In this case, a housing forming an outer peripheral surface of the writing instrument main body is used as a main body of the clamp device, and the spring guide is housed therein, and the clamp device is configured by a housing (main body) of the writing instrument, a clip in which a proximal end portion is relatively rotatably supported by the housing (main body), and a coil spring which is held by the spring guide and biases a proximal end portion of the clip. It is needless to say that the present invention can be applied to all rod-shaped members other than writing instruments.
In the above-described embodiment, the clip is made compact by abutting the biasing portion of the clip against which the coil spring abuts against the relative rotation center portion of the clip with respect to the main body, but any arrangement of the biasing portion and the relative rotation center portion may be adopted as long as the biasing portion is closer to the base end side than the relative rotation center portion. For example, in the above embodiment, instead of making the first extended end portion and the second extended end portion adjacent to each other, the first extended end portion and the second extended end portion may be separated from each other.
In the above-described embodiment, the through holes for receiving the offset portion and the relative rotation center portion are provided on the main body side, and are adjacent to and minimized, but other configurations such as providing notches extending from the base end side toward the tip end side of the main body and capable of receiving the offset portion and the relative rotation center portion may be employed.
In the above embodiment, the second extending end portions of the front side plates forming the relative rotation center portion are directly inserted into the through hole of the main body without being bent, but other configurations such as the following configuration may be adopted: a shaft member which is shaped like コ and is separate from the clip, has a shaft hole at its tip end and is fixed to the inner surface of the clip at its base end side is connected to the vicinity of the base end of the clip, and the tip end of the shaft member is inserted into the through hole of the main body.
As for the structure of the main body, in the above-described embodiment, the main body includes the outer member and the inner member disposed in the outer member, and the spring guide is provided in the inner member, but it is needless to say that other structures may be adopted such as a structure in which a portion corresponding to the clip attachment region of the inner member in the above-described embodiment is integrally provided in the outer member, a structure in which a case forming the outer peripheral surface of the writing instrument main body is used as the main body of the clamp device in the writing instrument having no cover as described above, and the spring guide is housed in the case, and the clip is relatively rotatably supported by the case.
In addition, various modifications can be made within a range not to impair the gist of the present invention.
