Description

Condition synchronous reconfiguration method and device
Technical Field
The application relates to the field of Internet of things, in particular to a condition synchronization reconfiguration method and device.
Background
The New radio (New Ratio, NR) R16 protocol introduces a conditional synchronization reconfiguration mechanism, which allows the network side to configure resources of multiple target cells to the terminal in one conditional synchronization reconfiguration process, and the terminal saves the configuration in the conditional synchronization reconfiguration command, and initiates a synchronization reconfiguration procedure in the target cell until the condition configured in the synchronization reconfiguration command is satisfied. In the process of configuring the conditional synchronous reconfiguration of the terminal by the network until the conditional synchronous reconfiguration trigger condition is met, the network can modify the conditional synchronous reconfiguration information of the terminal according to the actual situation, including adding/deleting candidate cells, modifying the configuration of the candidate cells, and the like.
When a source cell sends a switching request for requesting to modify the content of the conditional synchronous reconfiguration to a target cell, the target cell replies a switching request response, and if the source cell cannot inform the terminal of modifying the content of the conditional synchronous reconfiguration for some reason at the moment, the source cell cannot inform the target cell of the failure of the parameter modification. At this time, the target cell may have applied a new configuration, the terminal does not receive the parameter modification notification, and the old configuration is still used, which may result in abnormal communication failure due to inconsistency between the terminal and the target cell configuration.

Detailed Description
The embodiment of the application provides a method and a device for synchronously reconfiguring conditions, which can enable a terminal side and a network side to use the same condition synchronous reconfiguration information, thereby improving the network quality.
In this embodiment, a "terminal," also referred to as User Equipment (UE), a Mobile Station (MS), a Mobile Terminal (MT), etc., is a device that provides voice and/or data connectivity to a user, for example, a handheld device, a vehicle-mounted device, etc. with a wireless connection function. Currently, some examples of terminals are: a mobile phone (mobile phone), a tablet computer, a notebook computer, a palm top computer, a Mobile Internet Device (MID), a wearable device, a Virtual Reality (VR) device, an Augmented Reality (AR) device, a wireless terminal in industrial control (industrial control), a wireless terminal in self driving (self driving), a wireless terminal in remote surgery (remote medical supply), a wireless terminal in smart grid (smart grid), a wireless terminal in transportation safety (smart security), a wireless terminal in city (smart city), a wireless terminal in home (smart home), and the like.
The "base station" in this embodiment may be a wireless access network (RAN) node or a base station. The RAN is the part of the network that accesses the terminal to the wireless network. A RAN node (or device) is a node (or device) in a radio access network, which may also be referred to as a base station. Currently, some examples of RAN nodes are: a gbb, a Transmission Reception Point (TRP), an evolved Node B (eNB), a Radio Network Controller (RNC), a Node B (NB), a Base Station Controller (BSC), a Base Transceiver Station (BTS), a home base station (e.g., home evolved Node B, or home Node B, HNB), a Base Band Unit (BBU), or a wireless fidelity (Wifi) Access Point (AP), etc. In addition, in one network configuration, the RAN may include a Centralized Unit (CU) node and a Distributed Unit (DU) node.
The general idea of the conditional synchronization reconfiguration is that a network side issues a synchronization reconfiguration command to a terminal in advance, the terminal does not initiate a synchronization reconfiguration process in a synchronization reconfiguration target cell as soon as a traditional synchronization reconfiguration process is received, but stores conditional synchronization reconfiguration information in the synchronization reconfiguration command, the synchronization reconfiguration process is not initiated in the target cell until a condition configured in the synchronization reconfiguration command is met, and one conditional synchronization reconfiguration command allows configuration of the conditional synchronization reconfiguration information of one or more target cells.
The conditional synchronous reconfiguration technology solves the problem of terminal movement robustness, the traditional synchronous reconfiguration process is triggered by a network side, but the network side does not know the accurate moving direction of the terminal, wrong judgment happens occasionally, although the conditional synchronous reconfiguration process is also triggered by the network side, the terminal can judge which target cell is accessed according to a signal monitored by the terminal, and the success rate and the accuracy of synchronous reconfiguration can be increased because the terminal judges that a synchronous reconfiguration target can better reflect the actual condition of the terminal compared with the network side. On the other hand, for a terminal moving at a high speed, the conventional synchronous reconfiguration process is too slow, the terminal measures the time interval between the report and the receipt of the synchronous reconfiguration of the network side, so that the terminal is likely to fail to receive the synchronous reconfiguration command or receive the synchronous reconfiguration command which is not timely, and the conditional synchronous reconfiguration allows the network side to issue the synchronous reconfiguration command to the terminal in advance, so that the problem that the terminal cannot receive the synchronous reconfiguration command at a high speed is alleviated to a certain extent.
Fig. 1 schematically illustrates a flow chart of a conditional synchronization reconfiguration provided by an embodiment of the present application. As shown, the process includes the following steps:
s101: and the base station of the source cell of a certain terminal determines to perform the switching from the source cell to the target cell of the terminal according to the reconfiguration of the using condition of the terminal based on the realization.
S102: and the source cell base station of the terminal informs the condition synchronization reconfiguration information of the replacement source cell generated by the network side of the terminal through the reconfiguration message.
S103: after the conditional synchronization reconfiguration condition of the target cell of the terminal is triggered, the terminal initiates a synchronization process in the target cell.
However, in the parameter modification process of the conditionally synchronized reconfiguration, when the source cell sends a handover request for requesting to modify the content of the conditionally synchronized reconfiguration to the target cell and the target cell replies a handover request response, if the source cell cannot notify the terminal to modify the content of the conditionally synchronized reconfiguration for some reason, the target cell may already apply new conditionally synchronized reconfiguration information, the terminal does not receive the notification of the parameter modification, and the problem that the conditionally synchronized reconfiguration information of the terminal side and the network side is inconsistent when the old conditionally synchronized reconfiguration information is used is caused.
In order to solve the foregoing problem, an embodiment of the present application provides a conditional synchronization reconfiguration method, where a first base station is capable of sending an RRC connection reconfiguration message to a second base station according to an RRC connection reconfiguration complete message sent by a target terminal, where the RRC connection reconfiguration message includes a synchronization reconfiguration modification failure notification message or a synchronization reconfiguration modification success notification message, so that conditional synchronization reconfiguration information used by the second base station is consistent with the target terminal. The first base station is a base station corresponding to a source cell, and the second base station is a base station corresponding to a target cell.
It should be noted that the conditional synchronization reconfiguration allows the network side to reserve resources of one or more target cells to the terminal in advance, but the terminal will only select one target cell that meets the trigger condition to complete the synchronization reconfiguration process, so that, for the network side, it is necessary to comprehensively consider whether the conditional synchronization reconfiguration or the conventional synchronization reconfiguration process is used at all, so as to save the occupied overhead of the network side resources.
The base station may determine whether to use conditional synchronization reconfiguration as needed. And if the condition synchronous reconfiguration is needed, carrying out synchronous reconfiguration according to the following flow of the embodiment of the application, otherwise, carrying out synchronous reconfiguration according to the traditional synchronous reconfiguration flow.
Specifically, it may be determined whether to use the conditional synchronous reconfiguration according to the communication interface detection condition (for example, it is determined to use the conditional synchronous reconfiguration when the communication interface quality is detected to be poor). The above list is only an example of one possibility of using the conditional synchronization reconfiguration, and the embodiments of the present application do not limit the manner or policy for determining whether to use the conditional synchronization reconfiguration.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a conditional synchronization reconfiguration information modification method provided by an embodiment of the present application. The target terminal and the network side are already configured with the condition synchronization reconfiguration information of the target terminal. For a certain target terminal or some target terminals, the first base station is a source cell base station of the target terminal, and the second base station is a candidate target cell base station of the target terminal.
In the process, a synchronous reconfiguration information modification result message intercommunication mechanism is added between the base stations, so that the base stations can determine whether to use the synchronous reconfiguration information before the current modification or the modified synchronous reconfiguration information for the target terminal according to whether the synchronous reconfiguration information modification operation of the target terminal is successful or not.
As shown, the process includes the following steps:
s201: the first base station sends a switching request message for requesting to modify the conditional synchronization reconfiguration information of the target terminal to the second base station.
In this step, if the first base station needs to modify the conditional synchronization reconfiguration information of the target terminal, a handover request message for requesting modification of the conditional synchronization reconfiguration information of the target terminal is sent to the second base station.
The conditional synchronization reconfiguration information may include an identifier (such as a cell number) of the candidate target cell, configuration information of the candidate target cell, the number of candidate target cells, and other parameters.
S202: and after receiving the switching request message of the conditional synchronization reconfiguration information sent by the first base station, the second base station modifies the conditional synchronization reconfiguration information of the target terminal stored in the second base station according to the message, and sends a switching request success response message to the first base station, wherein the switching request success response message carries the modified conditional synchronization reconfiguration information of the target terminal.
S203: and after receiving the response message of successful switching request sent by the second base station, the first base station sends RRC connection reconfiguration message to the target terminal.
In this step, the RRC connection reconfiguration message carries the modified conditional synchronization reconfiguration information of the target terminal, so that the target terminal modifies the conditional synchronization reconfiguration information stored in the terminal.
According to the protocol, after receiving the reconfiguration modification notification message sent by the first base station, the target terminal modifies the condition synchronization reconfiguration information and sends an RRC connection reconfiguration completion message to the first base station. However, for some reasons (such as poor quality of the communication interface between the first base station and the target terminal, or failure of sending the RRC connection reconfiguration message sent by the first base station to the target terminal), the RRC connection reconfiguration message sent by the first base station may not be received by the terminal.
S204: if the first base station fails to successfully notify the target terminal to modify the condition synchronization reconfiguration information according to the RRC connection reconfiguration message, the process proceeds to S205, and if the first base station successfully notifies the target terminal to modify the condition synchronization reconfiguration information according to the RRC connection reconfiguration message, the process proceeds to S206.
In this step, after the first base station sends the RRC connection reconfiguration message to the target terminal, if the RRC connection reconfiguration complete message sent by the target terminal according to the RRC connection reconfiguration message is not received within the set duration, it may be determined that the target terminal fails to modify the current condition synchronization reconfiguration message, and then the process goes to S205.
S205: and the first base station sends a synchronization reconfiguration modification failure notification message to the second base station, so that the second base station recovers to use the conditional synchronization reconfiguration information of the target terminal before modification.
In this step, before the first base station sends the synchronization reconfiguration modification failure notification message to the second base station, the handover request message for requesting modification of the conditional synchronization reconfiguration information of the target terminal is not sent again.
Wherein, the first base station sends a synchronization reconfiguration modification failure notification message to the second base station, and the involved interfaces include at least one of the following: XN interface, NG interface, S1 interface, X2 interface, F1 interface and E1 interface.
S206: after receiving the RRC connection reconfiguration complete message sent by the target terminal, the first base station sends a synchronization reconfiguration modification success notification message to the second base station, so that the second base station uses the modified conditional synchronization reconfiguration information of the target terminal after receiving the synchronization reconfiguration modification success notification message.
In this step, the RRC connection reconfiguration complete message is sent by the target terminal after the target terminal completes modifying the conditional synchronization reconfiguration information according to the RRC connection reconfiguration message, and the handover request message for requesting modification of the conditional synchronization reconfiguration information of the target terminal is not sent again before the first base station sends the synchronization reconfiguration modification success notification message to the second base station.
Wherein, the first base station sends a synchronization reconfiguration modification success notification message to the second base station, and the involved interface includes at least one of the following: XN interface, NG interface, S1 interface, X2 interface, F1 interface and E1 interface.
In this embodiment, before the second base station modifies the conditional synchronization reconfiguration information of the target terminal, the conditional synchronization reconfiguration information may be cached. After receiving the synchronization reconfiguration modification success notification message sent by the first base station, the second base station may delete the cached conditional synchronization reconfiguration information before modification, and retain the modified conditional synchronization reconfiguration information. And after receiving the synchronization reconfiguration modification failure notification message sent by the first base station, the second base station can restore the conditional synchronization reconfiguration information before modification.
In some embodiments, if the first base station receives the RRC connection reconfiguration complete message sent by the target terminal, it may not send the synchronization reconfiguration modification success notification message to the second base station, and the second base station determines that the current conditional reconfiguration modification operation of the target terminal is successful by default when the second base station does not receive the synchronization reconfiguration modification failure notification message for the current conditional reconfiguration modification operation within the set time length.
In some embodiments, after the first base station sends the RRC connection reconfiguration message to the target terminal, if the RRC connection reconfiguration complete message sent by the target terminal according to the RRC connection reconfiguration message is not received within the set duration, the first base station may send the RRC connection reconfiguration message to the target terminal again until the RRC connection reconfiguration complete message sent by the target terminal is received, or the maximum sending number is reached. The set duration and the maximum sending times can be set according to network performance or actual needs.
Optionally, if the first base station does not receive the RRC connection reconfiguration complete message sent by the target terminal after sending the RRC connection reconfiguration message for the maximum number of times, the first base station sends a synchronization reconfiguration modification failure notification message to the second base station.
Based on the flow shown in fig. 2, fig. 3 and fig. 4 describe the interaction process between the base station and the terminal, respectively taking the case that the first base station determines that the operation of modifying the conditional reconfiguration information of the target terminal fails and succeeds.
Fig. 3 exemplarily shows a signaling interaction diagram of a failed modification of conditional synchronization reconfiguration information provided by an embodiment of the present application. As shown, the interaction flow includes:
s301: the first base station sends a switching request message for requesting to modify the conditional synchronization reconfiguration information of the target terminal to the second base station.
S302: and after receiving the switching request message, the second base station modifies and stores the conditional synchronization reconfiguration information according to the message, and sends a switching request success response message to the first base station, wherein the switching request success response message carries the modified conditional synchronization reconfiguration information.
S303: and after receiving the response message of successful switching request, the first base station sends RRC connection reconfiguration message to the target terminal, wherein the RRC connection reconfiguration message carries the modified conditional synchronization reconfiguration information of the target terminal, so that the target terminal modifies the conditional synchronization reconfiguration information stored in the terminal.
S304: the first base station does not receive the RRC connection reconfiguration finishing message sent by the target terminal within the set time length, further determines that the current condition synchronization reconfiguration modification operation of the target terminal fails, and sends a synchronization reconfiguration modification failure notification message to the second base station.
S305: and after receiving the synchronization reconfiguration modification failure notification message, the second base station recovers to use the conditional synchronization reconfiguration information of the target terminal before modification.
In this step, the interface involved by the second base station receiving the synchronization reconfiguration modification failure notification message includes at least one of the following: XN interface, NG interface, S1 interface, X2 interface, F1 interface and E1 interface.
Fig. 4 exemplarily shows a signaling interaction diagram of successful modification of conditional synchronization reconfiguration information provided by an embodiment of the present application. As shown, the interaction flow includes:
s401: the first base station sends a switching request message for requesting to modify the conditional synchronization reconfiguration information of the target terminal to the second base station.
S402: and after receiving the switching request message, the second base station modifies and stores the conditional synchronization reconfiguration information according to the message, and sends a switching request success response message to the first base station, wherein the switching request success response message carries the modified conditional synchronization reconfiguration information.
S403: and after receiving the response message of successful switching request, the first base station sends RRC connection reconfiguration message to the target terminal, wherein the RRC connection reconfiguration message carries the modified conditional synchronization reconfiguration information of the target terminal, so that the target terminal modifies the conditional synchronization reconfiguration information stored in the terminal.
S404: and after receiving the RRC connection reconfiguration message, the target terminal modifies the condition synchronization reconfiguration information and sends an RRC connection reconfiguration completion message to the first base station.
S405: after receiving the RRC connection reconfiguration complete message sent by the target terminal, the first base station determines that the current condition synchronization reconfiguration modification operation of the target terminal is successful, and sends a synchronization reconfiguration modification success notification message to the second base station.
S406: and after receiving the synchronous reconfiguration modification success notification message, the second base station confirms that the current conditional synchronous reconfiguration modification operation of the target terminal is successful, and uses the stored modified conditional synchronous reconfiguration information.
In this step, the interface involved by the second base station receiving the synchronization reconfiguration modification success notification message includes at least one of the following: XN interface, NG interface, S1 interface, X2 interface, F1 interface and E1 interface.
