Technical Field

Background
In general, an electronic image forming apparatus such as a photocopier or a printer is provided with a toner cartridge to supply toner, however, in order to ensure that the toner cartridge does not leak when not mounted, a compression spring is usually used to apply a larger elastic force to a plug member to achieve the purpose of sealing the toner outlet. If the spring with smaller elasticity is selected for labor saving installation, the powder leakage problem is easy to occur. Therefore, how to reliably seal the toner outlet of the toner cartridge, ensuring that the toner cartridge will not leak before installation, and saving labor when repeatedly installing the toner cartridge, especially when repeatedly installing and removing the toner cartridge for maintenance and other reasons, will not cause the burden of the installer, which is a technical problem to be solved by the person skilled in the art.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a leakage-proof device of a carbon powder box, which can truly seal the carbon powder box before being installed in an electronic imaging device and saves labor when being disassembled and re-assembled after being installed.
In order to achieve the above-mentioned objective, the leakage-blocking device of the toner cartridge of the present invention includes a fixed seat, a valve member, a first elastic member, a pushing member, and a second elastic member, the toner cartridge has a housing for accommodating toner and an outlet disposed on the housing, the fixed seat is disposed on the outlet of the housing, the fixed seat includes an opening and a limiting portion, the opening is communicated with the inside and the outside of the housing, the valve member is movably disposed on the fixed seat and is disposed at the inner side of the opening, the first elastic member is disposed on the fixed seat and applies a force to the valve member toward the opening, so that the valve member can close the opening, the pushing member is disposed on the fixed seat and is disposed at the inner side of the valve member, the pushing member has a clamping portion, the pushing member can move between a forward position and a backward position, the pushing member is disposed on the valve member when being disposed at the forward position, the second elastic member is disposed on the fixed seat and applies a force toward the forward position; when the pushing piece is positioned at the retreating position, the clamping part is jointed with the limiting part of the fixed seat, so that the pushing piece cannot be moved from the retreating position to the advancing position under the action of the second elastic piece; therefore, the leakage blocking device of the toner cartridge can truly seal the toner cartridge, and labor is saved when the toner cartridge is disassembled and reassembled again after the toner cartridge is installed.

Detailed Description
The following describes the technical content and features of the present invention in detail by a preferred embodiment with reference to the accompanying drawings, as shown in fig. 1, which is a perspective view of a leakage preventing device 10 provided in a toner cartridge 1 according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, wherein the toner cartridge 1 is used for being arranged in an electronic imaging device (not shown) such as a photocopier or a printer, etc., the electronic imaging device has a docking member 7, and a powder inlet 8 is arranged in the docking member 7, as shown in fig. 7. The toner cartridge 1 has a housing 3 for accommodating toner, an outlet 5 provided at one end of the housing 3, and a leakage blocking device 10. When the toner cartridge 1 is installed in the electronic imaging device, the docking member 7 extends into the leakage blocking device 10. As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the leakage preventing device 10 includes a fixing base 20, a valve member 30, a first elastic member 40, a pushing member 50, a second elastic member 60, and a sealing member 70. The present invention is defined to define the direction axially inward into the housing 3 of the toner cartridge 1 and the opposite direction outward.
As shown in fig. 4A and 4B, the fixing base 20 is disposed at the outlet 5 of the housing 3, the fixing base 20 includes a tube portion 21 for extending into the housing 3, an opening 22 disposed at an outer end of the tube portion 21, a two-way slot 23 disposed on a peripheral wall of the tube portion 21, a bottom wall 27 disposed at an end or an inner end of the tube portion 21 away from the opening 22, and a limiting portion 28 disposed on the bottom wall 27, the tube portion 21 has a shoulder 24, a large diameter section 25 adjacent to the opening 22, and a small diameter section 26 adjacent to the limiting portion 28 extending from the large diameter section 25, the shoulder 24 is disposed at a junction between the large diameter section 25 and the small diameter section 26, the opening 22 communicates with the interior and the exterior of the housing 3 and with the through slot 23, so that the opening 22 can be reached from the interior of the housing 3 through the through slot 23, and the limiting portion 28 is a through hole 29.
It should be noted that, in the present embodiment, the large diameter section 25 and the small diameter section 26 are two independent elements, that is, the pipe portion 21 is formed by combining two elements, the shoulder 24 is located at one end of the large diameter section 25 adjacent to the small diameter section 26, and in other embodiments, the large diameter section 25 and the small diameter section 26 may be integrally formed.
The valve member 30 is movably disposed in the large diameter section 25 of the pipe 21 and located inside the opening 22, the valve member 30 can move between a closed position P1 (as shown in fig. 6 and 8) and an open position P2 (as shown in fig. 7), the valve member 30 includes a disc 31, and a stop ring 35 extending from the disc 31 toward the inner side, the position of the disc 31 corresponds to the opening 22, and the diameter of the disc 31 is larger than the diameter of the opening 22, so that the valve member 30 can be closed in the opening 22, and when the valve member 30 closes the opening 22, the opening 22 is not communicated with the through groove 23.
The first elastic member 40 is a compression spring, the first elastic member 40 is disposed in the large diameter section 25 of the pipe portion 21 and between the shoulder 24 and the disc 31 of the valve member 30, and one end of the first elastic member 40 is sleeved outside the stop collar 35 of the valve member 30 and abuts against the disc 31, so that the first elastic member 40 applies a force to the valve member 30 towards the opening 22.
Referring to fig. 5, the pushing member 50 is disposed in the tube portion 21 of the fixing base 10 and is located at an inner side of the valve member 30, the pushing member 50 can move between a forward position P3 (as shown in fig. 6) and a backward position P4 (as shown in fig. 7 and 8), the pushing member 50 includes a head portion 51, a rod portion 53 extending from the head portion 51, and two locking portions 55 disposed at an outer periphery of the rod portion 53, the head portion 51 is disposed at the large diameter section 25, the rod portion 53 extends into the small diameter section 26 and penetrates the through hole 29, the rod portion 53 is provided with an axially extending slot 54 disposed near the two locking portions 55, that is, the two locking portions 55 are disposed within the range of the slot 54, the slot 54 radially penetrates the rod portion 53, so that the rod portion 53 can be elastically deformed by a radial external force, and the two locking portions 55 are disposed opposite to each other.
The second elastic member 60 is a compression spring, and the second elastic member 60 is disposed in the tube portion 21 of the fixing base 20, between the bottom wall 27 and the head portion 51 of the pushing member 50 and extends into the small diameter section 26, so that the second elastic member 60 applies a force to the pushing member 50 toward the advancing position P3.
The seal 70 is annular and is disposed on a side of the disk 31 of the valve member 30 adjacent to the opening 22.
Referring to fig. 6, when the toner cartridge 1 is not assembled in the electronic imaging device, the disc 31 of the valve member 30 is subjected to the force of the first elastic member 40 towards the opening 22, at this time, the pushing member 50 is located at the advanced position P3, the head 51 of the pushing member 50 extends into the retainer 35 of the valve member 30 and abuts against the disc 31 of the valve member 30, the engaging portion 55 of the pushing member 50 is located in the tube 21, the pushing member 50 is subjected to the force of the second elastic member 60 to apply a force to the valve member 30 towards the opening 22, that is, the valve member 30 is simultaneously pushed by the first elastic member 40 and the pushing member 50, so that the sealing member 70 abuts against the opening 22 and deforms in a compression manner, the opening 22 can be reliably closed without powder leakage, and the valve member 30 cannot be separated from the opening 22 due to the diameter D1 of the disc 31 of the valve member 30 being larger than the diameter D2 of the opening 22.
When the toner cartridge 1 is mounted to the electronic imaging device, the abutting member 7 extends into the opening 22 and pushes against the valve member 30, and simultaneously overcomes the elastic force of the first and second elastic members 40 and 60 to move the valve member 30 and the pushing member 50 inward together, that is, to move the pushing member 50 toward the retreating position P4, the two clamping portions 55 of the pushing member 50 respectively have a slope 56 (as shown in fig. 5), the slope 56 of the clamping portion 55 abuts against the hole edge of the opening 29 during the process of passing the clamping portion 55 through the opening 29, so that the rod portion 53 is pressed and deformed to pass through the opening 29, and when the clamping portion 55 passes through the opening 29, the rod portion 53 returns to its original shape as shown in fig. 7, the clamping portion 55 is limited by the opening 29 to maintain the pushing member 50 at the retreating position P4, at this time, the clamping portion 55 is located outside the tube portion 21, the valve member 30 is maintained at the opening position P2, and the two-way groove 23 is communicated with the opening 22, so that the toner can enter the toner inlet 8 from the inside of the housing 3 through the two-way opening 23. When the pushing member 50 is located at the retracted position P4, as shown in fig. 7, the locking portion 55 is located outside the pipe portion 21, so that the pushing member 50 cannot be moved from the retracted position P4 to the advanced position P3 by the force of the second elastic member 60.
When the toner cartridge 1 is removed, the valve member 30 is returned from the open position P2 to the closed position P1 by the force of the first elastic member 40, so that the valve member 30 closes the opening 22 again, and the ejector 50 is maintained at the retracted position P4, as shown in fig. 8.
Through the above structural design, the first and second elastic members 40 and 60 of the leakage-blocking device 10 apply force to the opening 22 from the valve member 30, so that the toner cartridge 1 can be sealed before being assembled into the electronic imaging device, and toner leakage is avoided; when the toner cartridge 1 is mounted, the pushing member 50 is maintained at the retracted position P4, so that when the toner cartridge 1 is removed and assembled again, the user only needs to overcome the force of the first elastic member 40, and consumes less force to complete the mounting, thereby achieving the purpose of the present invention.
Other variations of the toner cartridge structure are possible based on the design spirit of the present invention, such as: the limiting portion 28 of the fixing base 20 can be engaged with the engaging portion 55 of the pushing member 50 by magnetic attraction or other engaging means, so long as the pushing member 50 can be maintained at the retracted position P4; or the head 51 of the pushing member 50 may be omitted, so long as the pushing member 50 can push against the valve member 20 when in the advancing position P3; alternatively, the seal 70 may be not annular in shape, but may be disk-shaped, etc., and any such structural variations that may be easily contemplated are intended to be encompassed by the present invention.

Claims (12)

1. A leakage blocking device of a toner cartridge, wherein the toner cartridge has a housing for receiving toner and an outlet disposed in the housing, the leakage blocking device comprising:
the fixed seat is arranged at the outlet of the shell and comprises an opening and a limiting part, and the opening is communicated with the inside and the outside of the shell;
the valve piece is movably arranged on the fixed seat and positioned on the inner side of the opening;
the sealing piece is arranged on one side of the valve piece, which is close to the opening;
a first elastic member disposed on the fixing base and applying a force to the valve member toward the opening to close the opening;
the pushing piece is arranged on the fixed seat and positioned on the inner side of the valve piece, the pushing piece is provided with a clamping part, the pushing piece can move between a forward position and a backward position, and the pushing piece is abutted against the valve piece when positioned at the forward position; and
the second elastic piece is arranged on the fixed seat and applies a force to the pushing piece towards the advancing position;
when the pushing piece is positioned at the retreating position, the clamping part is jointed with the limiting part of the fixed seat, so that the pushing piece cannot be moved from the retreating position to the advancing position under the action of the second elastic piece.
2. A leakage preventing device for a toner cartridge as in claim 1 wherein said fixed seat comprises a tube portion for extending into said housing and a through slot disposed in said tube portion for allowing said housing to communicate with said opening through said through slot, said opening and said retainer being disposed at opposite ends of said tube portion, respectively, said valve member, said first resilient member, said urging member and said second resilient member being disposed in said tube portion.
3. A leakage preventing device for a toner cartridge as in claim 2 wherein the inner edge of the tube has a shoulder, and the first resilient member is disposed between the shoulder and the valve member.
4. A leakage preventing apparatus for a toner cartridge as in claim 3 wherein the tube portion has a major diameter section adjacent the opening and a minor diameter section adjacent the retainer portion extending from the major diameter section, the shoulder being located at the juncture of the major diameter section and the minor diameter section, the valve member and the first resilient member being located at the major diameter section, the ejector member and the second resilient member extending into the minor diameter section.

A leakage preventing device for a toner cartridge as in claim 2 wherein the retaining base further comprises a bottom wall at an end of the tube portion remote from the opening, the limiting portion is disposed on the bottom wall, and the second elastic member is disposed between the bottom wall and the pushing member.
6. A leakage preventing device for a toner cartridge as in claim 5 wherein the urging member comprises a head portion and a stem portion extending from the head portion, the engaging portion is disposed at an outer periphery of the stem portion, and the second elastic member is disposed between the bottom wall and the head portion.
7. A leakage preventing apparatus for a toner cartridge as in claim 6 wherein the stop portion is a through hole, the lever portion is disposed through the through hole, the engaging portion is disposed within the tube portion when the ejector is in the advanced position, and the engaging portion is disposed outside the tube portion when the ejector is in the retracted position.
8. A leakage preventing apparatus for a toner cartridge as in claim 7 wherein the lever portion of the urging member has an axially extending slot adjacent the catch portion.
9. A leakage preventing device for a toner cartridge as in claim 1 wherein said valve member comprises a tray body and a stopper extending from said tray body, said tray body being positioned corresponding to said opening, said first elastic member being disposed around said stopper and abutting said tray body, said pushing member extending into said stopper and abutting said tray body when said pushing member is in said advanced position.
10. A leakage preventing apparatus for a toner cartridge as in claim 9 wherein the diameter of the disk of the valve member is greater than the diameter of the opening.
11. A leakage preventing device for a toner cartridge as in claim 1 wherein said urging member comprises a head portion and a stem portion extending from said head portion, said engaging portion is disposed at an outer periphery of said stem portion, and said second elastic member is abutted against said head portion at one end thereof.
12. A leakage preventing device for a toner cartridge as in claim 1, wherein the seal is annular.
