The washing machine 1 illustrated in fig. 1 to 5 is an example of a laundry processing apparatus capable of performing a predetermined process on laundry, in this case, at least a known washing process of washing the laundry, a known rinsing process of rinsing the laundry, and a known dehydrating process of dehydrating the laundry. The washing machine 1 is a so-called vertical axis type washing machine in which the rotation axis of the tub is in the vertical direction.
The washing machine main body 2 constituting the outer shell of the washing machine 1 is an example of a device main body, and includes a substantially rectangular plate-shaped cover 3 on the upper portion thereof. The width of the cover 3 in the left-right direction is slightly shorter than the width of the washing machine main body 2 in the left-right direction.
The washing machine main body 2 includes a rectangular box-shaped outer box 4 made of, for example, a steel plate, and a top cover 5 made of, for example, a synthetic resin. The top cover 5 is provided on the upper part of the outer box 4. That is, the top cover 5 constitutes an upper portion of the washing machine main body 2. Inside the outer box 4, a water tub, not shown, in which water can be stored is elastically supported by an elastic suspension mechanism. A not-shown spin tub for storing laundry is rotatably provided inside the tub. The rotation axis of the tub is a vertical axis extending in the vertical direction of the washing machine main body 2.
The top cover 5 has a thin hollow box shape with an open lower surface and an upper surface inclined downward from the rear to the front. An opening 6 for putting in and out laundry is provided in the center of the top cover 5 at a position above the rotary tub. In the present embodiment, the opening 6 has a shape in which the front side is opened in an arc shape and the rear side is opened in a rectangular shape. The rear surface of the opening 6 is a vertical wall. A treatment agent supply box 7 into which a laundry treatment agent such as a detergent or a softener is supplied is provided at a rear surface of the opening 6. The treatment agent supply box 7 is provided to be able to be taken out and put in along the front-rear direction of the washing machine 1. The operation panel 11 is provided in a stepped manner with respect to the cover support portion 10 at the front portion of the cover support portion 10. As illustrated in fig. 7, the upper surface of the operation panel 11 is made of a glass surface material 11 a. The operation panel 11 includes a capacitance type touch sensor on the back surface side of the glass surface piece 11 a. The glass surface member 11a is a member constituting the surface of the operation panel 11, and is formed of, for example, a thin plate-like hard glass plate having a thickness of about several mm. The glass surface piece 11a may be colored, colorless and transparent, or colored and transparent. The glass surface material 11a is bonded to a frame portion constituting the outer frame of the operation panel 11 via a plurality of double-sided adhesive tapes 42. Thereby, the glass surface piece 11a is stably and stably held on the surface of the operation panel 11. The frame portion constituting the outer frame of the operation panel 11 is formed by plating the surface thereof as an example of decoration processing, as with the decoration members 24 and 34 described in detail later. Thus, the operation panel 11 has a configuration in which the same decoration as that of the cover 3 described in detail below is applied to the peripheral edge portion, in this case, the front edge portion, the rear edge portion, and both the left and right edge portions.
The cover 3 of the washing machine 1 is configured by two cover components, i.e., a so-called double-folding structure. Next, a configuration example of the cover 3 will be described in further detail. As also illustrated in fig. 7, the cover 3 includes two cover components, in this case, a base-end-side cover component 21 and a tip-end-side cover component 31.
The base-end-side cover forming portion 21 is provided at a position located at the upper portion of the washing machine main body portion 2 and forming the rear portion of the opening portion 6 so as to be rotatable about the rotation shaft portion 8 extending in the left-right direction. The base-end-side cover forming portion 21 has a substantially rectangular plate shape. On the other hand, the front-end-side cover constituting portion 31 has a substantially rectangular plate shape whose dimension in the front-rear direction is smaller than that of the base-end-side cover constituting portion 21. The width of the front-end-side cover forming portion 31 in the left-right direction is substantially the same as the width of the base-end-side cover forming portion 21 in the left-right direction. Hereinafter, the configuration examples of the base end side cover constituting portion 21 and the tip end side cover constituting portion 31 will be described in detail.
The base-end-side cover forming portion 21 includes a base member 22 and a glass surface member 23. The base member 22 is a member constituting the rear surface side portion of the base end side cover constituting portion 21, and is made of a crystalline synthetic resin material having high chemical resistance and high strength, for example. Examples of the crystalline resin material include polypropylene resin, polyethylene terephthalate resin, polyacetal resin, and the like. The base member 22 constitutes the back surface of the base-end-side cover constituting portion 21, i.e., the surface on the opening 6 side. The back surface of the base-end-side cover forming portion 21 is a surface that becomes a lower surface in a closed state where the cover 3 closes the opening 6 and becomes a front surface in an open state where the cover 3 opens the opening 6. Further, a turning shaft 41 for rotatably supporting the distal end side cover constituting portion 31 is provided on the distal end side of the base member 22.
The base member 22 includes a decorative member 24 between the glass surface member 23 and the base member. The decorative member 24 is an example of a holding member, and is a structure in which a plating process is performed as an example of a decoration process on a surface of a base material constituting the decorative member 24. Further, the decorative member 24 is provided in a substantially rectangular frame shape so as to correspond to the peripheral edge portion of the base member 22. The decoration member 24 is fixed to the surface side of the base member 22.
The glass surface material 23 is a member constituting the surface of the base-end-side-cover constituting portion 21 among the surfaces of the cover 3, and is formed of, for example, a thin plate-like hard glass plate having a thickness of about several mm. In addition, the glass surface member 23 may be colored, and may be colorless transparent or colored transparent. The glass surface material 23 is adhered to the decorative member 24 fixed to the base member 22 via a plurality of double-sided adhesive tapes 42. Thereby, the glass surface member 23 is stably and stably held by the decorative member 24 at the base end side cover constituting portion 21.

In addition, according to the washing machine 1, the upper portion of the washing machine main body 2 is inclined so that the front portion is lower than the rear portion, and a flat surface is formed by the cover 3 in the upper portion of the inclined washing machine main body 2. According to this configuration, the user present in front of the washing machine 1 can easily visually recognize the flat surface of the cover 3, and the configuration of the upper part of the washing machine 1 having design properties can be easily visually transmitted to the user.
In addition, according to the washing machine 1, the upper portion of the washing machine main body 2 is inclined so that the front portion is lower than the rear portion, and therefore, a user present in front of the washing machine 1 can easily take in and out laundry through the opening 6. This makes it possible to provide the washing machine 1 having high design and excellent convenience of use.
Further, the washing machine 1 has the following configurations 1 and 2.
The structure is as follows: in the closed state in which the cover 3 closes the opening 6, the upper surface of the glass surface piece 23 of the base-end-side cover forming portion 21, the upper surface of the glass surface piece 33 of the front-end-side cover forming portion 31, and the upper surface of the glass surface piece 11a of the operation panel 11 are arranged on the same plane.
The structure is as follows: in a state where the cover 3 closes the opening 6, the end portions of four sides formed by the combination of the two cover constituting portions 21 and 31 and the operation panel 11, that is, the rear end and both left and right ends of the base-end-side cover constituting portion 21, both left and right ends of the front-end-side cover constituting portion 31, and the front end and both left and right ends of the operation panel 11 are each subjected to plating.
According to the washing machine 1 having both the configurations 1 and 2, in the closed state in which the lid 3 closes the opening 6, the combination of the two lid components 21 and 31 and the operation panel 11 can be made to look like a single plate-shaped lid, and an appearance with a more uniform feeling and high design can be realized. In the closed state in which the cover 3 closes the opening 6, the rear end of the base-end-cover constituting portion 21 is an end portion that is difficult to be seen by a user present in front of the washing machine 1. Therefore, the washing machine 1 may be configured without performing decoration processing on the rear end of the base end side cover forming portion 21.
The present embodiment is not limited to the above-described one, and various modifications and extensions can be made without departing from the scope of the present embodiment. For example, the glass surface piece 33 may be provided with a through portion penetrating the glass surface piece 33 instead of the notch portion 33 a. Such a through-portion also allows the handle portion to be provided without impairing the flatness of the cover 3. In addition, even in the configuration in which the glass surface piece 33 is provided with the through portion, a wall portion may be provided inside the through portion, and an end face of the through portion may be covered with the wall portion.
The decorative members 24 and 34 may be decorated entirely or partially. When a part of the decorative member 24 or 34 is subjected to a decorative process, at least the wall portion 24a or 34a may be included in the part. The processing method for decorating the decorative members 24 and 34 is not limited to the plating process, and various processing methods such as a processing method for applying paint and a processing method for applying a seal (seal) can be applied.
Further, according to the present embodiment, since the holding members for holding the glass surface members 23 and 33 are realized by the decorative members 24 and 34, the holding members and the decorative members can be used in combination, and an increase in the number of components can be suppressed. However, in the present embodiment, a dedicated holding member for holding the glass surface members 23 and 33 may be provided as a member different from the decorative members 24 and 34.
In addition, a double-sided adhesive tape whose base material has cushioning properties can be used as the double-sided adhesive tape 42. Further, by appropriately adjusting the number, size, arrangement, adhesive force, and the like of the double-sided adhesive tape 42, the glass surface pieces 23, 33 can be further stably and stably mounted. The method of attaching the glass surface members 23, 33 to the decorative members 24, 34 is not limited to the method of attaching the double-sided adhesive tape 42, and various methods such as a method of fitting the glass surface members 23, 33 into the decorative members 24, 34, and a method of locking the glass surface members 23, 33 to the decorative members 24, 34 can be applied.
In addition, the present embodiment can also be applied to a washing machine having a drying function. In addition, the present embodiment can also be applied to a washing machine having no drying function. The present embodiment can be applied to various kinds of clothes treatment apparatuses as long as the clothes are subjected to some kind of treatment, for example, deodorization, sterilization, bleaching, etc. of the clothes.
The embodiments of the present invention have been described above, but the embodiments are presented as examples and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention. These new embodiments can be implemented in other various ways, and various omissions, substitutions, and changes can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. These embodiments and modifications thereof are included in the scope and gist of the invention, and are included in the invention described in the claims and the equivalent scope thereof.
