Introduction of related tools:
(1) JMeter brief introduction
JMeter is an open source code project organized by Apache, is a function and performance testing tool which is very popular abroad and popular for opening sources, is realized by pure Java, can be used for testing the performance of static and dynamic resources, such as Java servers, CGI Scripts, databases and the like, is used for simulating the conditions that high loads are added on servers, networks or other objects to test the pressure capability of the services provided by the servers and the networks and analyze the overall performance conditions of the services provided by the servers and the networks under different loads, has a graphical user interface, is convenient for testers to use, has a low learning curve, and has open source codes for the research of the testers.
The JMeter test plan is composed of various JMeter Elements, and a complete test plan comprises one or more thread groups (Threadgroup), samplers (Sampler), configuration Elements (Config Elements), timers (Timer), Logic controllers (Logic controllers), pre-processors, post-processors, assertions (Assertion), listeners (Listener), etc., and is not described in detail herein for JMeter official view.
(2) SpringBootAdmin profile
The Spring Boot Admin is a community project and is used for managing and monitoring Spring Boot applications and monitoring data such as GC times of the Spring Boot applications and the use condition of Java memory.
(3) Druid data Source
The Druid is the best database connection pool in Java language, can provide powerful monitoring and expansion functions, and can monitor important information such as URI request status and SQL execution status of items.
JMeter concurrent test theory
When a JMeter thread group is started to perform an interface test, the Number of Threads (Number of Threads) of the thread group, the total start time (Ramp-Up Period) of all the Threads of the thread group and the Loop Number (Loop Count) of each thread need to be configured, and in order to achieve a real concurrent access effect during a JMeter test, the following JMeter concurrent test theory is required:
setting the number of threads of a thread group as n, the total starting time of the thread group as T, the number of cycle times of the thread group as a, the average response time of a tested interface as T, the running time of a single thread as R, and the time period from the test start of the n threads to the time when the n threads access the tested interface all concurrently as [ S, R ], then:
(T-T/n), i.e. the start time of the last thread (xth second) equals the total start time minus the total start time divided by the number of threads.
And a > S/t, namely if n threads are expected to achieve the effect of accessing the test interface concurrently, the number of circulation times required by the n threads must be larger than the starting time of the last thread divided by the average response time of the tested interface.
And R ═ a × t, namely, the total running time of a single thread in the test process is equal to the average response time of the interface multiplied by the number of cycles of the thread group.
In summary, when the n threads perform concurrent test on the interface, the concurrent time period is [ S, R ], that is, from S second to R second, and other time periods are not concurrent access to the test interface by the n threads.
Wherein, the average response time (t) of the tested interface needs to be obtained through an aggregation report of one JMeter concurrent test. The method for obtaining the data is to set a thread group with a certain number of threads and enough loop times (5 threads, and 1000 loops) to perform a prediction formula on the interface to be tested, so that the error between the obtained average response time and the actual test is small enough.
The concurrent test method and the steps are as follows:
(1) test method
According to the JMeter concurrency test theory, the I divides the concurrent access stress test on the news list interface into two stages of an interface performance test and an interface stress test, and the method specifically comprises the following steps:
A. and stage one, testing the performance of the interface.
The test at this stage aims to provide an optimization basis for improving the response speed of the tested interface, and mainly tests the response performance of the tested interface, so that the tested interface is concurrently accessed and tested by using only one thread group containing 10 threads, and monitoring data of each monitoring tool and data of a JMeter aggregation report before, during and after the test need to be recorded.
B. And stage two, testing the interface pressure.
The purpose of the test at this stage is to provide an optimization basis for improving the concurrent load capacity of the tested interface, and mainly to test the response speed and throughput of the tested interface under the concurrent access of different thread groups to determine the bearable concurrent access capacity of the tested interface, so that the tested interface needs to be subjected to concurrent access test by using a plurality of thread groups with gradually increased thread numbers.
Because the test frequency of the stage is more, the test of the stage is executed on the premise that the tested interface is tested in the stage I, and the average response time is within 500 milliseconds, the stage can be executed, otherwise, the response performance of the tested interface needs to be optimized.
(2) Test procedure
In order to achieve the effect of concurrent access to the news listing interface, each test of the two test stages needs to be performed according to the following test steps:
according to the JMeter concurrent test theory, before testing, a thread group with the thread number of 5 and the cycle number of 1000 needs to be set by the JMeter, HTTP concurrent access is carried out on an interface to be tested, and the average response time of the interface to be tested is obtained according to a JMeter aggregation report.
And according to a concurrency test theory, calculating a concurrency access time period of the tested interface.
Before testing, the monitoring data of each monitoring tool needs to be recorded.
