Abstract
The invention discloses a method, a storage medium and a system for automatically installing a system for a physical server. The method comprises the following steps: A. configuring a network of a network card of a physical server to be installed into an installed network; B. sequentially executing B1 and B2: B1. generating an automatic installation configuration file, designating the IP address of the network interface corresponding to the network card in the network configuration in the configuration file as a management network address, and B2, starting the physical server from the installed network so as to enable the physical server to perform the following operations: configuring the IP address into an installed network address, downloading a target system mirror image and the configuration file, then carrying out system installation and changing the IP address into a management network address according to network configuration; C. and after the physical server is informed that the system installation is completed and the address is configured, configuring the network of the network card into a management network. The method enables the physical server to carry out system installation and provide business services through only one network card.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of automatic installation systems of physical servers, in particular to a method, a storage medium and a system for automatically installing a system for a physical server.
Background
Cobbler is a tool for automatically installing a system for physical servers, and can realize quick batch installation. At present, if a Cobbler is used to automatically install a system for a physical server, the physical server to be installed needs to have two network cards, one of the network cards is used for the Cobbler to execute an installation task by using a network boot (PXE) method, and the other network card is used for a service system to connect, so that the physical server can provide a service for the service system. If the physical server to be installed has only one network card, the Cobbler cannot complete the system installation and then provide the service.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to solve the technical problem of reducing the requirement on the number of network cards of a physical server when the system is automatically installed for the physical server through Cobbler.
In order to solve the technical problem, the method for automatically installing the system for the physical server through the Cobbler comprises the following steps:
A. configuring a network of a network card of a physical server to be installed into an installed network;
B. the following steps B1 and B2 are sequentially executed:
b1, generating an automation installation configuration file, designating the IP address of the network interface corresponding to the network card in the network configuration in the automation installation configuration file as a management network address,
b2. having the physical server boot from the installed network, thereby having the physical server perform the following operations: automatically configuring the IP address as an installed network address, downloading a mirror image of a target system and the automatic installation configuration file through an installed network, then carrying out system installation and changing the IP address into a management network address according to network configuration in the automatic installation configuration file;
C. after the fact that the physical server completes system installation and changes the IP address into a management network address is known, the network of the network card is configured into a management network, and therefore the physical server can provide business services.
Optionally, specifically, the Cobbler server is instructed to perform the step B.
Optionally, in the step B1, the network interface in the network configuration in the automatic installation configuration file is generated according to the MAC address of the network card.
Alternatively, in the step B1, specifically, after the automatic installation configuration file is generated, the network interface is generated in the network configuration in the configuration file, and then the IP address of the network interface is specified as the management network address.

Optionally, a network switch communicatively connected to the cloud platform is included, and the cloud platform causes the network switch to configure a network of a network card of the physical server to be installed as an installed network or a management network.

The invention is described in further detail below with reference to specific embodiments.
A management system for automatically installing a system for a physical server by Cobbler is shown in fig. 1, and includes a cloud platform and a Cobbler server communicatively connected to the cloud platform. The management system comprises a plurality of physical servers to be installed and a network switch, wherein the cloud platform is in communication connection with the network switch. The cloud platform comprises a processor and a computer-readable storage medium, wherein the computer-readable storage medium stores an executable computer program, the processor executes the computer program so as to realize a method for automatically installing a system for a physical server through Cobbler, and the specific flow of the method is described by way of example as follows:
the cloud platform accesses the network switch first, and the network switch configures the network cards of all the physical servers to be installed into an installed network. After the installed network is configured, the cloud platform calls a Cobbler API to instruct a Cobbler server to generate a corresponding automatic installation configuration file according to an image of a target operating system to be installed by each physical server, then aiming at the automatic installation configuration file of each physical server, in the network configuration of the configuration file, a corresponding network interface is generated according to the MAC address of the network card of the physical server, the IP address of the network interface is designated as a management network address, and thus a modified automatic installation configuration file is obtained. In other embodiments, the network configuration may be performed during the generation of the automation installation configuration file, and the automation installation configuration file that has specified the IP address as the management network address may be obtained directly.
After generating the automated installation configuration file, the cloud platform instructs the Cobbler server to perform the following installation procedure: the Cobbler server accesses a hardware management platform (BMC) of each physical server and commands the hardware management platform of each physical server to control the local restart. After each physical server is restarted from an installed network, a corresponding installed network address is automatically obtained, the IP address of the physical server is configured to be the installed network address, and then the Cobbler server is accessed through the installed network to download the mirror image of the target operating system to be installed by the physical server and the modified automatic installation configuration file. After downloading the mirror image and the configuration file, the physical server automatically carries out system installation and changes the IP address into a management network address according to the network configuration in the automatic installation configuration file. After the system is installed and the management network address is configured, the physical server returns an installation completion message to the Cobbler server. After receiving the installation completion message of the physical server, the Cobbler server marks the installation task of the physical server as a completion state.
The cloud platform calls a Cobbler API to access the Cobbler servers, queries the progress of the installation tasks of each physical server, and if the installation tasks of the physical servers are in a complete state, accesses the network switch to configure the network of the network card of the physical server as a management network, so that the user terminal in fig. 1 can access the physical servers through the management network to provide service for the physical servers.

A. configuring a network of a network card of a physical server to be installed into an installed network;

b1, generating an automation installation configuration file, designating the IP address of the network interface corresponding to the network card in the network configuration in the automation installation configuration file as a management network address,
b2. having the physical server boot from the installed network, thereby having the physical server perform the following operations: automatically configuring the IP address as an installed network address, downloading a mirror image of a target system and the automatic installation configuration file through an installed network, then carrying out system installation and changing the IP address into a management network address according to network configuration in the automatic installation configuration file;
C. after the fact that the physical server completes system installation and changes the IP address into a management network address is known, the network of the network card is configured into a management network, and therefore the physical server can provide business services.
