Background
With the technical development and update iteration of electronic products, the traditional Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) technology is gradually replaced by the Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) display technology, which has the greatest advantage of electroluminescence, does not need backlight, and can be ultra-thin.
The development of OLED technology has also gone from the early flat panel display, to the curved panel display, to the flexible Foldable display (Foldable display), and will eventually develop into the roll-up display (rollable display).
With the maturation of flexible panel technology, flexible panels have become available in mass production. Currently, flexible panels are mainly classified into static bending display (SF) and dynamic bending Display (DF) according to different bending states.
In the research and practice of the static bending display (SF) and the dynamic bending Display (DF) in the prior art, the inventors of the present application found that the flexible panel using the static bending display (SF) and the flexible panel using the dynamic bending Display (DF) both have a problem that the bending display portion is easily broken, and thus, there is a great need for improvement.
Disclosure of Invention
An object of the application is to provide a display panel and a display device thereof, which can solve the technical problem that the yield of the existing flexible foldable panel is not high.

The non-bending display area 100 includes at least two flat display areas, such as a first flat display area 110a and a second flat display area 110b, and the second flat display area 110b can be folded with respect to the first flat display area 110a by means of the bending display area 200, such as inward folding or outward folding; the bending display area 200 includes: a static bending display area 210 and a dynamic bending display area 220, wherein the static bending display area 210 is disposed at the edge of the non-bending display area 100 and has been bent and extended to the back of the non-bending display area 100; the dynamic bending display area 220 is disposed between the two flat display areas.
Specifically, fig. 1 to 3 are display panels before bending, where the display panel 1 includes a display area and a non-display area, the display area is mainly described in this embodiment, and the non-display area is not described in detail in this embodiment of the present application.
The display area is used for displaying a color picture, and the display area includes a non-bending display area 100 and a bending display area 200.

Before bending (or folding), when the contents displayed in the first planar display area 110a and the second planar display area 110b are the same, the actual display area is increased to meet the requirement of the client for large-area planar display; when the contents displayed by the first flat display area 110a and the second flat display area 110b are different, the split-screen display function is realized, and the requirement of the client for the simultaneous use of a plurality of applications can be met.
After the bending, when the contents displayed in the first planar display area 110a and the second planar display area 110b are the same, the requirement that multiple people watch the same display content at the same time is met; when the contents displayed by the first flat display area 110a and the second flat display area 110b are different, which is equivalent to realizing split-screen display, the requirement of a client for simultaneously using a plurality of applications and the requirement of a plurality of people watching different applications of the same display device can be met. In summary, the display panel can be applied to diverse scenes.
The bending display area 200 also has an actual display function, and the bending display area 200 includes a static bending display area 210 and a dynamic bending display area 220.
The static bending display region 210 is bent already during the manufacturing process, and is not bent during the use of the actual display device. The static bending display area 210 is located at the edge of the whole display panel 1, and the static bending display area 210 can still perform normal display when being bent to the back of the non-bending display area 100, so that the area of the display area is enlarged.
The first planar display area 110a and the second planar display area 110b are located at two sides of the dynamic bending display area 220, before the dynamic bending display area 220 is bent, the dynamic bending display area 220 is arranged between the first planar display area 110a and the second planar display area 110b, and the dynamic bending display area 220, the first planar display area 110a and the second planar display area 110b are displayed together to form a display device with an oversized screen; after the dynamic bending display area 220 is bent, the dynamic bending display area 220 is in a bending state, and at this time, the first planar display area 110a and the second planar display area 110b are disposed opposite or opposite to each other.
The dynamic bending display area 220 is folded inward or outward, as shown in fig. 5, the dynamic bending display area 220 is folded outward, and at this time, the first planar display area 110a and the second planar display area 110b are arranged opposite to each other, and are suitable for the users on the two opposite sides to use the display device together; as shown in fig. 6, the dynamic bending display area 220 is an inner folding type, and at this time, the first planar display area 110a and the second planar display area 110b are oppositely disposed, so that the space occupied by the device is reduced after folding, and a better storage effect is achieved. Meanwhile, it should be noted that, no matter in the folding mode of the inner folding or the outer folding, the static folding display area 210 is always in the displayable state, and in practical application, the displayed content can be set according to the requirement of the user, so that the functionality is excellent.
The material used for the dynamic bending display area 220 includes shape memory material, shape memory alloy is the best material with shape memory performance in the current shape memory material, Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) is a material which has Shape Memory Effect (SME) through thermal elasticity and martensite phase transformation and inversion thereof.
The shape memory alloy has shape memory effect (shape memory effect) and pseudo elasticity (hyperelasticity), and is characterized in that under the action of external force, the shape memory alloy has much larger deformation recovery capability than that of common metal, namely, large strain generated in the loading process can be recovered along with unloading, so that the bending times of bending can be greatly increased when the shape memory material is used as the material of a bending area, the service life of a display panel is prolonged, and the like.
As shown in fig. 2 and fig. 3, the display panel 1 further includes a bonding area 300, where the bonding area 300 is used to bond the flexible circuit board 32, the flexible circuit board 32 is located in the flexible circuit board placement area 3 (see fig. 5 or fig. 6), that is, the flexible circuit board placement area 3 is located on the back of the display panel 1, that is, on the back of the non-bending display area 100, as the name implies, the flexible circuit board placement area 3 is used to place the flexible circuit board 32, and a fixing plate 31 is also provided, where the fixing plate 31 is located on the back of the display panel 1, that is, on the back of the non-bending display area 100, and one end of the fixing plate 31 is located in a cavity formed after the static bending display area 210 is bent, and the cavity is the bonding area 300. The fixed plate 31 is a hard substrate and has good fixing and supporting functions, and the flexible circuit board 32 is fixed on the fixed plate 31 and bonded to the static bending display area 210 through the bonding area 300, so that functions of electrifying and displaying of the display area are guaranteed.
As shown in fig. 1, the display panel 1 further includes a front camera 21, which is generally disposed in the flat display area to perform a camera function and perform a display function if necessary.
As shown in fig. 4, the display panel 1 further includes a rear camera 22, which is generally disposed on the back of the flat display area, and the specific position can be set according to actual requirements to implement a camera function, and if necessary, a display function can also be performed.
The technical effect of the display panel is that the bending display area comprises a dynamic bending display area and a static bending display area, and the static bending display area has a display function. The dynamic bending display area and the static bending display area are arranged together, so that the bending process in the original bonding process of the flexible circuit board is omitted, and the yield of the manufacturing process of the display panel is improved. The display device can be folded inwards or outwards, the space occupied by the display device can be reduced in the inwards folded mode, and the requirement for a large-screen display device can be met in the outwards folded mode.
