Background
At present, a drill rod loading and unloading mechanism of an automatic drilling machine generally comprises a drill rod, a drill rod box, a drill rod lifting device, a shuttle arm capable of extending and retracting, a drill rod column number automatic selection device and the like. The drill rod box is a key component of a drill rod loading and unloading mechanism of the automatic drilling machine, and the performance of the drill rod box directly influences the use performance of the drill rod loading and unloading device of the horizontal directional drilling machine.
The existing drill rod box of the drilling machine is mostly a box type storage mechanism, and only the drill rod is stored, so that the drill rod cannot be positioned. The drill rod is manually placed into the drill rod box, the drill rod needs to be pushed to a relatively fixed position in the drill rod box, and only then can the drill rod have a relatively accurate position after being grabbed.

When the drill rod 4 needs to be added into the drill rod 4 box, the oil cylinder 8 extends out to push the sliding plate 7 to slide leftwards in the sliding groove 6, and finally the pushing plate 2 moves leftwards, the width is widened, and the drill rod 4 is convenient to add.
When the drill rod 4 is filled, the oil cylinder 8 retracts, the sliding plate 7 slides rightwards, the push plate 2 is driven to move rightwards, the width of the drill rod 4 box is narrowed, and the relative position of the drill rod 4 in the drill rod 4 box is determined.
