Background
In the ankle replacement surgery, the accuracy of the osteotomy operation directly affects the effect of the replacement surgery. An accurate osteotomy procedure allows better ankle replacement. For example, the osteotomy device in the SATR ankle joint replacement operation mainly utilizes a simple force line positioning and kirschner wire fixing mode to carry out osteotomy operation through an osteotomy block plane at the front end.
It is known that current state of the art ankle osteotomy devices only determine the force line location in one direction, but intraoperative determination of the patient force line requires both sagittal and coronal determinations. The fixing mode of the kirschner wire cannot fix the osteotomy plane better and is easy to loosen. The osteotomy plate without the limited degree of freedom is easy to generate osteotomy errors, greatly influences the precision of osteotomy in the operation, and is easy to influence the effect of implanting the joint replacement prosthesis.
