Description

Video transmission adjusting method and device
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of data transmission technologies, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for adjusting video transmission.
Background
With the development of information technology, the application of information equipment in production and life is gradually wide. The information equipment expands various application scenes such as online video watching, broadcast listening, video conference, remote video education and the like based on a video transmission technology.
In video transmission, when a sending end sends video data coded by an encoder, a receiving end decodes the video data by a decoder of the receiving end to finish video transmission. The encoder adjusts the size of the video code stream by adjusting the code rate so as to adapt to the network condition between the sending end and the receiving end and prevent network congestion or packet loss and other negative conditions. The traditional method for adjusting the code rate is mainly to calculate according to the packet loss rate and the sending buffer memory, and indicate the code rate increase or the code rate decrease of the encoder. However, the traditional method for adjusting the code rate is easily limited in applicable scenarios, and when a fixed packet loss exists in a transmission environment between a transmitting end and a receiving end, the code rate adjustment is greatly affected. Meanwhile, when the code rate is increased by calculating the packet loss rate and sending the buffer storage amount, the required code rate adjustment time is longer and the delay is higher.

Detailed Description
For better understanding of the objects, technical solutions and technical effects of the present invention, the present invention will be further explained with reference to the accompanying drawings and examples. The embodiment of the invention provides a video transmission adjusting method.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a video transmission adjustment method according to an embodiment, and as shown in fig. 1, the video transmission adjustment method according to an embodiment includes steps S100 to S102:
s100, acquiring the code rate and the statistical data quantity of an encoder at a first statistical moment; the statistical data volume comprises the data volume transmitted between the sending terminal and the receiving terminal between the second statistical time and the first statistical time;
and the sending end carries out data transmission to the receiving end, wherein the data transmission rate of the sending end is positively correlated with the code rate of the encoder.
In one embodiment, the second statistical time is the same as the first statistical time; the data volume transmitted between the sending end and the receiving end comprises the Bandwidth fed back by the receiving end. The first statistical timing encoder has a code rate of CodeRate.
In one embodiment, the second statistical time is before the first statistical time, and a time interval from the second statistical time to the first statistical time is a statistical interval; the data volume transmitted between the transmitting end and the receiving end comprises the data volume SentData transmitted by the transmitting end in the statistical interval.
S101, obtaining a network reference value according to the difference value between the statistical data quantity and the code rate of the encoder;
in one embodiment, fig. 2 is a flowchart of a video transmission adjustment method according to another embodiment, and as shown in fig. 2, a process of obtaining a network reference value according to a difference between a coding rate of an encoder and a statistical data amount in step S101 includes step S200:
and S200, taking the absolute value of the difference value between the statistical data quantity and the code rate of the encoder as a network reference value.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 2, when the second statistical time is the same as the first statistical time, and the receiving end uses the Bandwidth fed back by the sending end as the statistical data amount, the absolute value of the difference between the statistical data amount Bandwidth and the coder code rate code is used as the network reference value.
In one embodiment, when the second statistical time is before the first statistical time and a time interval from the second statistical time to the first statistical time is a statistical interval, a result Ratio of Ratio = (SentData-CodeRate)/CodeRate is used as the network reference value.
And S102, when the network reference value is greater than or equal to the preset reference value, reducing the code rate of the encoder, otherwise, improving the code rate of the encoder.
When the network reference value is greater than or equal to the preset reference value, reducing the code rate of the encoder; and when the network reference value is smaller than the preset reference value, the code rate of the encoder is improved. The network reference value is greater than or equal to the preset reference value, and indicates that network congestion occurs between the sending end and the receiving end, so that packet loss is generated.
In one embodiment, the reference value is preset to be 0.2 to 0.4 times of the code rate of the encoder at the first statistical time. As a preferred embodiment, the encoder code rate at the first statistical time with the reference value being 0.3 times is preset.
Based on this, when the receiving end makes the Bandwidth fed back by the sending end less than 0.7 times the coder code rate, the network reference value is greater than 0.3 times the coder code rate according to the calculation mode of the network reference value.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, the process of reducing the code rate of the encoder in step S102 includes step S300:
s300, the code rate of the encoder is adjusted to the bandwidth fed back by the receiving end.
Namely, the code rate of the encoder is adjusted to the Bandwidth fed back by the receiving end, so as to reduce packet loss and network congestion.
In one embodiment, fig. 3 is a flowchart of a video transmission adjustment method according to another embodiment, and as shown in fig. 3, the process of reducing the bitrate of the encoder in step S102 includes steps S400 to S402:
s400, acquiring an average bandwidth fed back by a receiving end in a statistical interval;
and acquiring the average value of the bandwidth fed back by the receiving end in the statistical interval, namely the average bandwidth AverageBandwidth. In one embodiment, the statistical interval includes a period, and the period duration is 1 second.
S401, obtaining a first adjusting code rate according to the product of the average bandwidth and the first proportional coefficient; the first proportional coefficient is the ratio of the first data quantity difference value to the code rate of the encoder; the first data quantity difference value is the difference value between the statistical data quantity and the double encoder code rate;
the difference value between the statistical data quantity and the code rate of the encoder is 2CodeRate-sentData, and the ratio of the difference value of the first data quantity to the code rate of the encoder is (2 CodeRate-sentData)/CodeRate. When Ratio = (SentData-CodeRate)/CodeRate =0.3, (2 CodeRate-SentData)/CodeRate =0.7. That is, the Ratio of the first data amount difference to the encoder code rate = (1-Ratio). The network reference value is greater than the preset reference value, and if the preset reference value is 0.3, that is, the network reference value Ratio is greater than or equal to 0.3, the first adjustment code rate = AverageBandwidth (1-Ratio).
S402, adjusting the code rate of the encoder to a first adjusted code rate.
And adjusting the code rate of the encoder to the first adjusted code rate AverageBandwidth (1-Ratio) so as to reduce packet loss and network congestion.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 3, the process of increasing the code rate of the encoder in step S102 includes steps S500 to S503:
s500, detecting the bandwidth between the sending end and the receiving end;
and when the network reference value is greater than the preset reference value, performing bandwidth detection before the code rate of the encoder is increased. In one embodiment, the time from the second statistical time to the first statistical time includes four periods, and when the network reference value at the end time of each period is greater than or equal to the preset reference value, bandwidth detection is performed between the sending end and the receiving end, where the detection bandwidth is ProbeBandwidth.
S501, gradually increasing the detection bandwidth until the network reference value is greater than or equal to a preset reference value;
s502, obtaining a second adjustment code rate according to a preset reference value, a detection bandwidth and a statistical data amount;
s502, the code rate of the encoder is adjusted to a second adjusted code rate.
In one embodiment, the Ratio = (SentData-CodeRate-ProbeBandwidth)/CodeRate is calculated when one period of on bandwidth probing is over. If the Ratio is less than the preset reference value, which indicates that the network condition is good, the detection bandwidth is increased to continue detection, and the detection bandwidth is updated to be ProbeBandwidth = (detection times-1) = the code rate of the current period. After the next period, similarly calculating Ratio = (SentData-CodeRate-ProbeBandwidth), if Ratio is less than a preset reference value, updating the detection bandwidth ProbeBandwidth, continuing detection, if Ratio is more than or equal to the preset reference value, stopping detection, and the transmitting end informs the encoder that the code rate is adjusted to (1-Ratio) × (SentData + ProbeBandwidth) and stops bandwidth detection. Wherein, the second adjusted code rate is (1-Ratio) ((SentData + ProbeBandwidth)).
In one embodiment, fig. 4 is a flowchart of a video transmission adjustment method according to yet another embodiment, and as shown in fig. 4, the process of reducing the code rate of the encoder in step S102 includes steps S600 to S603:
s600, obtaining the cache data volume of a sending end and sending time of the cache data volume;
and if the cache data volume of the sending end is SendrCache, the sending time Period of the cache data volume is Period = SendrCache/CoderRate.
S601, calculating the transmission layer delay according to the sending time;
wherein, defining the Delay of the transmission layer = Period-0.5 × rtt, and the transmission layer sets the Delay redundancy of 200ms.
S602, when the delay of the transmission layer is greater than the preset delay, obtaining a third adjusted code rate according to the code rate of the encoder and the delay of the transmission layer;
the preset delay is more than or equal to 100ms and less than or equal to 300ms. In one embodiment, the predetermined delay is 200ms. And when Delay is more than 200ms, the sending end informs the encoder to reduce the code rate.
In one embodiment, the third adjusted code rate = CodeRate (Delay-200 ms)/1000 ms.
S603, adjusting the coding rate of the encoder to a third adjusted coding rate.
In the video transmission adjustment method according to any of the embodiments, after the encoder code rate and the statistical data amount at the first statistical moment are obtained, the network reference value is obtained according to the difference between the statistical data amount and the encoder code rate. And further, when the network reference value is greater than or equal to the preset reference value, reducing the code rate of the encoder, otherwise, improving the code rate of the encoder. Based on the method, the code rate is efficiently adjusted according to the real-time actual bandwidth condition between the sending end and the receiving end so as to improve the network condition between the sending end and the receiving end. Meanwhile, the application range of video transmission adjustment is widened.
