As shown in fig. 9, 10, 16 and 17, a drawstring controller 4 is provided on an airbag case inside a steering wheel or an instrument panel of a vehicle, the drawstring controller 4 is used to release at least any one end of a drawstring 3, when the drawstring controller 4 is fixed to any one end of the drawstring 3, the other end of the drawstring 3 may be fixed to the drawstring controller 4 and/or a bag cavity, the drawstring 3 forms a tightening action to a connection port 17 to force an upper cloth to be closely attached to a lower cloth, and a sub-cavity 12 in a folded state is fixed in an inner space defined by the drawstring 3. When only the main chamber 11 needs to be expanded, the drawstring controller 4 does not release the drawstring 3, and the auxiliary chamber 12 can remain uninflated. When the auxiliary cavity 12 needs to be unfolded, the pull strip controller 4 releases the end part of the tightening pull strip 3, the tightening pull strip 3 cancels the tightening effect on the connecting port 17, and the auxiliary cavity 12 is inflated by the inflation gas to extend out of the connecting port 17 and be coupled with the through hole 21 of the side air curtain 2.
In this embodiment, tightening pull strap 3 forms a closed loop structure 35 at attachment opening 17, the circumference of closed loop structure 35 being smaller than the circumference of attachment opening 17. The closed loop structure 35 may circumferentially restrict the deployment of the auxiliary chamber 12. Without the closed loop 35, the pull straps restraining the secondary chamber 12 only pull the upper panel 13 to the lower panel 14, and only one side of the connecting opening 17 is subjected to force, and excessive pulling may cause the secondary chamber 12 to deform, thereby affecting subsequent deployment.
As shown in fig. 18, the two ends of the tightening pull tape 3 are respectively an a end 31 and a B end 32, the a end 31 and the B end 32 are arranged on the same side of the connecting opening 17, and the closed loop structure 35 comprises a knot body 33 arranged between the a end 31 and the connecting opening 17 on the tightening pull tape 3, a slipknot 34 arranged between the knot body 33 and the a end 31 and the tightening pull tape 3 arranged between the knot body 33 and the slipknot 34. In this embodiment, the knot body 33 is a dead knot formed by tying the tightening drawstring 3; in other embodiments, the knot body 33 may be fixed to a fixing block on the tightening pull belt 3, and may serve to block the movement of the slipknot 34.
The closed loop structure 35 is formed by tying a knot 33 between the a-end 31 of the tightening lace 3 and the connection opening 17, and fixing the a-end 31 in the steering wheel or the dashboard. The slipknot 34 is bound between the connecting port 17 and the end B32, the step of binding the slipknot 34 is that after the end B32 is led out from the connecting port 17, the binding pull belt 3 between the end A31 and the connecting port 17 is wound for one circle to form a locking ring 341, after the locking ring 341 and the redundant part 342 of the end B32 are inserted into the locking ring 341 from the other side of the locking ring 341, the redundant part 342 and the end A31 are pulled to form the slipknot 34. The slipknot 34 is vertically movable on the tightening tape 3 between the a-end 31 and the connection port 17, moves up to the knot body 33, is stopped by the knot body 33 and is stopped by the knot body 33, and cannot move up. Thereby forming a closed loop structure 35.
As shown in fig. 16 and 17, the pulling tape controller 4 is connected to the a-side 31 for fixing and releasing the a-side 31; the B-end 32 is secured to the bladder cavity in the main cavity 11 adjacent the inflator mount.
When the drawstring controller 4 fixes the end A31, the end A31 forms a pulling force to the connecting opening 17, the end B32 is loosened, and the knot body 33, the slipknot 34 and the tightening drawstring 3 between the knot body 33 and the slipknot 34 form a closed loop structure 35.
When the pull strip controller 4 releases the A end 31, the A end 31 loses the pulling force on the connecting port 17, and the B end 32 is pulled by the connecting port 17, so that the slipknot 34 is opened. The tightening strap 3 becomes loose by losing the tension at the end portion thereof, so that the tightening action on the connection port 17 is lost, and the sub-chamber 12 in the folded state is pushed out of the connection port 17 by the expanding gas, extended in the side direction of the main chamber 11, and coupled to the air curtain 2.
As shown in fig. 19 and 20, the strap controller 4 includes a base 41 and a swing arm 42, the base 41 is fixed in a steering wheel or an instrument panel, an axis of a rotating shaft 421 of the swing arm 42 is disposed in a middle portion of the swing arm 42, the swing arm 42 rotates around the rotating shaft 421, the rotating shaft 421 is fixed in the steering wheel or the instrument panel, a spring 43 is disposed between the base 41 and the swing arm 42, the base 41 is fixedly connected with one end of the spring 43, one end of the swing arm 42 is fixedly connected with the other end of the spring 43, one end of the swing arm 42, which is far away from the spring 43, is hinged with a fixing column 44 abutted against the base 41, a hinge shaft is parallel to the rotating shaft 421 of the swing arm 42, the spring 43 forms an elastic force far away from the base 41 against one end of the swing arm 42, and the fixing column 44 is abutted against the base 41 under the elastic force of the spring 43. The base 41 is fixedly provided with a drawstring check ring 46 sleeved on the periphery of the fixed column 44, the A end 31 is fixedly connected with a fixed ring 45, the fixed ring 45 is formed by binding the lacing drawstring 3 at the A end 31, the fixed ring 45 is sleeved on the fixed column 44 between the drawstring check ring 46 and the base 41 so as to fix the A end 31, the check ring 46 is fixed in a steering wheel or an instrument panel, and the check ring 46 can slide relative to the fixed column 44.
The air cylinder 47 is arranged on the base 41, after the telescopic rod of the air cylinder 47 extends out, acting force enabling the fixing column 44 to be far away from the base 41 is formed in the area between the axis of the rotating shaft 421 of the swing arm 42 and the fixing column 44, the fixing column 44 is far away from the base 41, the fixing column 44 and the swing arm 42 rotate relatively, the fixing column 44 keeps the original angle, the fixing column 44 moves along the non-return ring 46 to be separated from the base 41, meanwhile, the spring 43 is compressed, and after the fixing column 44 is separated from the base 41, the fixing ring 45 can fall off from the fixing column 44, so that the end A31 is released.
The check ring 46 can prevent the fixing ring 45 from falling off from the fixing column 44, and after the end of the fixing column 44 completely enters the check ring 46, the check ring 46 blocks the fixing ring 45, so that the fixing ring 45 can be separated from the fixing column 44. After the telescopic rod of the cylinder 47 is retracted, the fixed column 44 is again abutted with the base 41 under the action of the spring 43.
In other embodiments, the drawstring controller 4 may be a pneumatic clamp or other structure that can compress or clamp the a-end 31.
As shown in fig. 12 and 13, the secondary chamber 12 is recessed within the primary chamber 11 prior to deployment, such that the secondary chamber 12 is received within the primary chamber 11 when the bladder chamber is not inflated. The extension side piece 16 comprises a folding part 162 and a convex part 163, the extension side piece 16 is connected with the partial extension side piece 16 at one end of the main piece 15 and is folded towards the inner direction of the main cavity 11 to form the folding part 162, the end part of the extension side piece 16 completely enters the main cavity 11 along with the folding of the folding part 162, and the end part of the extension side piece 16 is maintained to be original and is protruded towards the edge of the main piece 15 to form the convex part 163. The pre-sewing lines 164 are arranged on the two extending side pieces 16, the convex parts 163 and the folding parts 162 are sewn together through the pre-sewing lines 164, after the auxiliary cavity 12 is pre-sewn, the auxiliary cavity 12 can be stably positioned in the main cavity 11, and the condition that the auxiliary cavity 12 falls off from the main cavity 11 to cause damage to the auxiliary cavity 12 is reduced. The auxiliary chamber 2, which has lost the effect of the cinching pull strap, is pushed by the inflation gas, the pre-stitching 164 tears and the auxiliary chamber 12 is fully deployed.
As shown in fig. 1 to 3, the upper panel 13 facing the deployed front airbag 1 is provided with a recessed portion 131. Therefore, the impact injury of the over-expansion of the front airbag 1 to the passenger is reduced, as shown in fig. 11, an upper pull belt 132 and a lower pull belt 133 are arranged inside the main chamber 11, the upper pull belt 132 includes an upper annular portion 134 whose edge is fixedly connected with the edge of the recess 131, the upper annular portion 134 is sewn with the edge of the recess 131, and the sewing line of the upper annular portion 134 and the recess 131 is S3. The lower pull belt 133 includes a lower circular ring portion 135 fixedly connected to the edge of the inflation inlet 18, the lower circular ring portion 135 is sewn to the edge of the inflation inlet 18, a sewing line of the lower circular ring portion 135 and the inflation inlet 18 is S2, and a fixing hole 45 for a bolt of the gas generator to pass through is also formed in the lower circular ring portion 135. The upper pull strap 132 further comprises upper extending portions 136 extending from two opposite sides of the upper circular portion 134 to the edge of the upper cloth piece 13, one end of each upper extending portion 136 is connected with the upper circular portion 134, the other end of each upper extending portion 136 is fixedly connected with the lower cloth piece 14, and the upper extending portions 136 and the upper circular portions 134 are integrally cut pieces; the lower pull belt 133 further includes lower extensions 137 extending from two opposite sides of the lower circular ring 135 to the edge of the lower fabric piece 14, one end of the lower extension 137 is connected to the lower circular ring 135, and the other end is connected to the upper extension 136, as shown in fig. 21 and 22, the lower extension 137 and the lower circular ring 135 are integrally cut pieces, the end of the upper extension 136 and the end of the lower extension 137 are fixedly connected to the edge of the main piece 15, the positions where the ends of the upper extension 136 and the lower extension 137 are fixedly connected avoid the connection position of the extension side piece 16 and the main piece 15, the ends of the upper extension 136 and the lower extension 137 are fixedly connected by sewing, and the sewing lines at the two ends of the upper extension 136 and the lower extension 137 are respectively S4 and S5. After the front airbag is completely deployed, the recess 131 in the center of the upper sheet 13 is recessed into the pocket cavity more than other surface contours by the tensile force of the pull-up strap 132 and the pull-down strap 133. In this embodiment, the upper pull tape 132 and the lower pull tape 133 are both one, and in other embodiments, two or other numbers of the upper pull tape 132 and the lower pull tape 133 may be used.
The embodiment of the application also discloses a vehicle air bag group as shown in figures 1-22.
A vehicle airbag assembly comprises a side curtain 2 and the vehicle front airbag 1, wherein the side curtain 2 is provided with a through hole 21, and a secondary cavity 12 is unfolded from a main cavity 11 and extends to the through hole 21 and is coupled with the through hole 21. At least part of the auxiliary cavity 12 extends from one side of the side air curtain 2 to the other side of the side air curtain 2 through the through hole 21, so that the auxiliary cavity 12 and the side air curtain 2 are coupled to form a mutually coupled vehicle air bag group, and the protection effect of the vehicle air bag group on passengers is improved when a vehicle collides.
The inner wall of the through hole 21 is covered with an elastic cloth piece 22, the elastic cloth piece 22 is sewn on the inner wall of the through hole 21, and the elastic cloth piece 22 is abutted to the auxiliary cavity 12 entering the through hole 21.

Claims (15)

1. A front airbag coupled with a side air curtain of a vehicle, which at least comprises a first cloth piece and a second cloth piece which are adjacent to each other, and is characterized in that the front airbag is installed in a steering wheel or an instrument panel, the first cloth piece and the second cloth piece both comprise a main piece and an extension side piece, the whole contour edge of the extension side piece and at least part contour edge of the main piece are fixedly connected to form a bag cavity, the main piece of the first cloth piece and the main piece inner space of the second cloth piece form a main cavity, the extension side piece of the first cloth piece and the extension side piece inner space of the second cloth piece form a secondary cavity, and the secondary cavity extends towards the side air curtain and is coupled with the side air curtain;
the main piece and the extension side piece connecting section of the first cloth piece and the second cloth piece form a connecting port communicated between a main cavity and an auxiliary cavity, a tightening pull belt used for tightening the connecting port is arranged on the connecting port, the auxiliary cavity in a folded state is arranged in the inner space of the main cavity limited by the tightening pull belt, and a pull belt controller is arranged inside the steering wheel or the instrument panel and connected with the end part of the tightening pull belt;
the side air curtain is installed above a vehicle window on the side of the vehicle and is provided with a through hole, the pull belt controller is disconnected with the tightening pull belt, the tightening effect of the tightening pull belt on the connecting port is cancelled, and under the action of expansion gas, the auxiliary cavity extends out of the connecting port and penetrates through the through hole of the side air curtain to form coupling connection.
2. The vehicle front airbag of claim 1, wherein the first and/or second fabric panels are one-piece panels.
3. The vehicle front airbag according to claim 1, wherein the extended side pieces of the first panel and the extended side pieces of the second panel have the same shape profile, each having a structure that increases in width in a direction away from the main panel.
4. The vehicle frontal airbag of claim 1, wherein the secondary chamber is received inside the primary chamber when the bladder chamber is not inflated.
5. The vehicle front airbag according to claim 4, wherein the sub-chamber is housed inside the main chamber in such a manner that the extended side sheet is recessed toward the inside of the main chamber to form a folded portion, and is protruded toward the outside of the main chamber again at a distal end to form a protrusion.

The vehicle front airbag according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the first fabric panel is an upper fabric panel, the second fabric panel is a lower fabric panel, a pocket cavity is fixedly formed along all contour edges of the upper fabric panel and the lower fabric panel, a main panel of the upper fabric panel and an inner space of the main panel of the lower fabric panel form a main cavity, and an extended side panel of the upper fabric panel and an inner space of the extended side panel of the second fabric panel form a sub-cavity.

The vehicle front airbag according to claim 6, wherein a plurality of perforations are provided in a connecting section between the main panel and the extended side panel of the upper panel and the lower panel, the tightening strap passes through the perforations of the upper panel and the perforations of the lower panel, both ends of the tightening strap are connected to the inside of the steering wheel or the instrument panel, at least one end of the tightening strap is fixed by a strap controller, and the strap controller is configured to control the fixing or releasing of the tightening strap.
8. The vehicle frontal air bag according to claim 7, wherein the tightening drawstring passes through the perforation of the lower fabric sheet and the perforation of the upper fabric sheet on one side of the center line of the connection port, and the perforation of the upper fabric sheet and the perforation of the lower fabric sheet on the other side of the center line of the connection port in this order to form a closed loop structure, and both ends are connected to the inside of the steering wheel or the instrument panel, and the closed loop structure tightens the connection port.

The vehicle frontal airbag of claim 8, wherein said cinching strap comprises an a-end and a B-end, said closed loop structure comprising a knot body disposed on said cinching strap between said a-end and connection port, a slip knot tied between said knot body and a-end to said cinching strap at said B-end, and said cinching strap between said knot body and slip knot, said a-end connected to said strap controller and said B-end connected to said pocket cavity.

The vehicle front airbag according to claim 9, wherein the slipknot is formed by tying a tightening strap between the connection port and the B-end, and the tying step is performed by forming a locking loop by winding the tightening strap between the a-end and the connection port for one turn after the B-end is led out from the connection port, pulling the redundant portion and the a-end after the locking loop and the redundant portion of the B-end are inserted into the locking loop from the other side of the locking loop, and locking the slipknot at the side of the knot-shaped body away from the connection port.

The vehicle frontal airbag of claim 6, wherein an upper pulling belt is arranged inside the bag cavity, the upper pulling belt comprises an upper circular ring part in the middle and upper extending parts at two sides of the upper circular ring part, the upper circular ring part is fixed on the inner surface of the upper cloth sheet, one end of the upper extending part is connected with the upper circular ring part, the other end of the upper extending part is fixedly connected with the lower cloth sheet, and the bag cavity is inflated to form a concave part on the outer surface of the upper cloth sheet under the action of the upper pulling belt.
12. The vehicle frontal air bag according to claim 11, wherein an inflation inlet is provided on the lower cloth, a fixing hole is provided on the lower cloth in the circumferential direction of the inflation inlet, a bolt of the gas generator of the vehicle is fixed in the air bag housing of the vehicle after passing through the fixing hole, and the gas outlet of the gas generator of the vehicle is communicated with the inflation inlet.

The vehicle frontal airbag of claim 12, wherein a lower pulling strap is further provided inside the pocket cavity, the lower pulling strap comprises a lower ring portion in the middle and lower extensions at both sides of the lower ring portion, the lower ring portion is fixed circumferentially to the inflation port, the lower extension is connected at one end to the lower ring portion and at the other end to the upper extension.

The vehicle front airbag according to claim 13, wherein the lower circular ring portion is also provided with fixing holes, and bolts of the gas generator of the vehicle are inserted through the fixing holes of the lower circular ring portion and the lower fabric sheet in sequence to fix the gas generator of the vehicle in the airbag housing of the vehicle.
15. A vehicle air bag module comprising a side curtain and the vehicle front air bag of any one of claims 1-14, wherein the side curtain has a through hole therein, and the secondary chamber extends from within the primary chamber toward and couples with the through hole.
