Background
In the rolling process, the roller is heated and expanded, and the shape of the roller is changed, so that the setting of the plate-shaped model is directly affected. In order to ensure the plate shape setting precision, the expansion amount of the roller needs to be known, but at present, no means for online measurement of thermal expansion exists, and the real-time temperature field of the roller can be generally calculated first, and then the expansion amount is converted. In order to check the calculation accuracy of the roller temperature model, the calculated temperature needs to be compared with the actual temperature, and the measurement of the actual temperature of the roller is always a main problem which puzzles the production line.
At present, the roll surface temperature of a roll is generally measured as the actual temperature of the roll, and the roll surface temperature of the roll is not consistent with the internal temperature, so that the roll surface temperature of the roll is simply measured and does not represent the actual temperature of the roll, and the thermal expansion amount cannot be accurately converted.

Typically, after rolling is completed, the rolls undergo several minutes of water cooling before the rolls are removed from the rolling mill, i.e., from the end of rolling to the time the rolls are removed from the rolling mill, and the temperature of the roll surfaces of the rolls of the lower mill undergo a process of first increasing (i.e., returning the temperature) and then decreasing.
At present, in the existing roller temperature measuring scheme, after the roller temperature is finished, the roller surface temperature of the roller is detected once and is used as the roller temperature when the rolling mill stops rolling, so that the roller temperature returning time needs to be estimated, the roller temperature returning time is estimated inaccurately, or external environmental factors cause inaccurate roller surface temperature detection and larger error.
According to the method and the device for measuring the temperature of the off-machine roller, the roller surface temperature of the roller is continuously measured, curve fitting is carried out by utilizing the measured roller surface temperature data and the measured roller surface temperature data measuring time to obtain a roller temperature time model, and the average temperature inside the roller is calculated according to the roller temperature time model.
In addition, in the process of measuring the roller temperature, the temperature measuring probe is in stable contact with the roller and is separated from the external environment through the heat insulation material, so that the influence of the external environment on temperature measurement is reduced, even if unpredictable short-time interference exists, temperature data which do not meet the requirements can be removed through curve processing, and the final roller temperature is not influenced.
