Detailed Description
First, a preferred embodiment of the pet carrying case (hereinafter, simply referred to as a carrying case) of the present invention will be described. Further, pets are exemplified by dogs and cats, but are not limited to specific pets. Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing an appearance of a carrying case. Figure 2 is a rear view of the carrying case shown in figure 1. Figure 3 is a side view of the same carrying case. Figure 4 is a front view of the same carrying case. Figure 5 is a top view of the same carrying case.
The carrying case has a case body 1 accommodating a pet therein. The box main body 1 includes: a front body 10 having a first handle 2 and a second handle 3, a rear body 11 having an opening for taking in and out a pet, and an openable cover 12 provided on the upper part of the rear body 11. For convenience of explanation, the side where the handles 2 and 3 are provided is defined as a front side, and the side where the open/close cover 12 is provided is defined as a rear side. The left-right direction is defined as a direction perpendicular to the front-rear direction.
The periphery of the openable cover 12 is connected to the front body 10 and the rear body 11 by a zipper 13 (i.e., zipper). A resin pipe body 14 is provided on both sides of the fastener 13. The zipper 13 and the tube 14 may be made of a known product. The slider 13 is provided with two sliders 13a for opening and closing the lid 12. The portion of the openable cover 12 close to the rear bottom surface has a hinge 13b, and by moving the sliders 13a to both sides of the hinge 13b, the openable cover 12 can be opened to enlarge the opening.
The front body 10 and the rear body 11 are joined together at the center in the front-rear direction of the box body 1 by a sewn portion 15. That is, the front-rear direction length of the front body 10 is the same as or substantially the same as the front-rear direction length of the rear body 11. The sewn portion 15 is composed of a sewing tape 15a and a sewing thread 15b, and firmly joins the front body 10 and the rear body 11 together to form a pet accommodating portion inside the box body 1. The sewn portion 15 extends vertically downward from the vicinity of the center in the vertical direction of the left side surface of the box main body 1 (slightly above the center in the embodiment), further extends toward the bottom surface, and further extends to the vicinity of the center in the vertical direction of the right side surface on the opposite side (slightly above the center in the embodiment). This enables the front body 10 and the rear body 11 to be firmly connected.
The width dimension of the suture tape 15a can be determined as appropriate in consideration of the bonding strength. The sewing line 15b sews two rows, but may be determined appropriately as to the sewing number of rows, sewing pattern, and the like.
The zipper 13 is composed of: a top surface line 13c (see fig. 5) located on the top surface side, a vertical line 13d continuous to both right and left sides of the top surface line 13c, a slant line 13e continuous to the vertical line 13d, and a bottom line 13f continuous to the slant line 13 e. The positions of the top line 13c and the left-right vertical line 13d in the front-rear direction are the same as those of the sewn portion 15. I.e. these are located on the same line. Therefore, the sewn portion 15 does not need to be provided all around, and it is sufficient to the lower end of the vertical line 13d (see fig. 3 in particular).
The vertical line 13d and the oblique line 13e are connected by a gentle R, and form an oblique line that approaches the bottom surface as the rear side is closer. The slant line 13e and the bottom line 13f are also connected by a gentle R. The bottom line 13f and the hinge 13b are located on a straight line. Further, the bottom surface line 13f is positioned slightly above the bottom surface of the box main body 1.
The first handle 2 is composed of a pair of right and left extendable body portions 20 and a handle 21. Fig. 1 shows a state where the first handle 2 is stretched to the maximum, but it can be completely accommodated inside the box main body 1 (front side main body portion 10). The second handle 3 is a handle provided on the top surface of the front body 10. The first handle 2 and the second handle 3 may each be of a known construction. The first handle 2 is positioned at the foremost side of the front body 10, and the second handle 3 is provided at a position close to the fastener 13.
The rear body 11 is provided with a first window 4. The first window 4 is composed of a window opening/closing cover 40, a fastener 41, a tubular body 42 provided on both sides of the fastener 41, a hinge 43, and a slider 44. The first window 4 is formed across the top surface side and the rear portion side of the opening/closing cover 12.
By operating the pair of sliders 44 to move to both sides of the hinge 43, the window opening/closing cover 40 can be rotated about the hinge 43 to open the first window 4. The first window 4 is formed to be long in the lateral direction, and the first window 4 can be opened in a state where the opening/closing cover 12 is closed. By providing the first window 4, the condition of the pet inside can be confirmed, and the air permeability can be improved. Further, the first window is not limited to a laterally long shape, and various shapes such as a longitudinally long shape, a circular shape, and the like may be employed.
Fig. 11 shows a state where the first window 4 is opened. The window opening/closing lid 40 is shown in a state of being opened downward around the hinge 43. The first window 4 is covered with a mesh 44. By means of the net 44, the pet is prevented from inadvertently stretching the face and limbs out of the first window 4, while breathability is ensured. By extending the first window 4 laterally long, even when the weather is hot during movement, the ventilation of air can be improved without opening the openable cover 4 intentionally. Therefore, it is effective for pets having poor heat resistance.
The second windows 5 are provided on the left and right sides of the box body 1 (front body 10). As shown in fig. 3 and 12, the second window 5 includes a window frame 50 and a window opening/closing cover 51, and is rotatable about a hinge 53 provided at a lower portion of the window frame 50. The window frame 50 is made of a hard resin and is fixed to a side surface of the front body 10. The window opening and closing cover 51 is formed with a plurality of lateral slits 54, and the condition of the pet inside can be confirmed while ensuring breathability. The window opening and closing cover 51 is also made of hard resin. The window opening/closing cover 55 is integrally formed with a locking claw 55, and is engaged with a notch 52 formed in the window frame 50. The second window 5 can be opened by operating the locking pawl 55 to elastically deform and release the engaged state.
As shown in fig. 4, the air hole 6 is provided in the front surface of the front body 10. The air hole 6 is provided with a plurality of horizontally long slits 6a in the vertical direction. Two air holes 6 are arranged at the upper part and the lower part. The air holes 6 improve the air permeability inside. The number and shape of the air holes 6 and the slits 6a can have various modifications. The shape of the air hole 6 is not limited to the laterally long slit 6a, and may be a longitudinally long shape, a circular shape, or other various shapes.
The bottom surface of the box body 1 is provided with 4 wheels 7 in total. Two wheels 7 are provided on the bottom surface of the front body 10, and two wheels 7 are provided on the bottom surface of the rear body 11. The two wheels 7 of the front side body portion 10 are provided with lock mechanisms that prevent the wheels 7 from rotating accidentally. However, the wheel 7 on which the lock mechanism is provided can be determined as appropriate. Whether the wheel 7 of the present embodiment is a single tire or a double tire can be determined as appropriate.
Fig. 6 is a perspective view seen from the rear showing an opened state of the opening and closing cover 12. Fig. 7 is an external view seen from the same side. The adjustment belt 10a provided in the front body 10 and the adjustment belt 12a provided in the rear body 11 are coupled together, so that the openable cover 12 does not touch the ground even in a fully opened state. The adjusting band 10a and the adjusting band 12a are coupled to each other by hook and loop fasteners, and the opening angle of the opening and closing cover 12 can be appropriately adjusted by adjusting the coupling state. The size of the opening when opening the lid 4 can be freely set according to the size of the pet. In addition, the opening and closing cover 12 itself can be made larger, and the pet can be conveniently taken out and put in.
As shown in fig. 6, a net 60 is attached to a position corresponding to the air vent 6 in the box main body 1. This prevents large dust or garbage from entering through the air holes 6.
Further, a bottom plate 9 is provided on the bottom surface of the box main body 1 to be removable. By further providing the bottom plate 9, the pet can comfortably pass through the inside of the box main body 1 even while moving.
As shown in fig. 8, the tether 8 is fixed to the inside of the side surface of the front body 10. The front end of the fastening band 8 is provided with a metal fitting 8a (hook) with which a pet can be fastened in advance. This prevents the pet from accidentally escaping when the open/close cover 4 is opened. In fig. 8, only one strap 8 with a metal fitting 8a is shown, but actually two straps are provided. However, the specific arrangement may be appropriately set.
Fig. 9 shows a top view of the base plate 9 and fig. 10 shows a cross-sectional view of the base plate 9. The bottom plate 9 is formed in a flat plate shape, and a cutout 9a is formed at a portion where the tube body 20 of the first handle 2 is provided. As shown in fig. 10, the bottom plate 9 includes: a covering member 90, a hard resin plate 91 and a soft resin plate 92 provided inside. The hard resin plate 91 and the soft resin plate 92 are integrally formed as a laminated bottom plate member, and the hard resin plate 91 is positioned below. By providing such a hard resin plate 91, heat reflected from the floor surface or the like can be reflected, and a temperature rise of the pet storage portion can be suppressed.
Further, by providing the soft resin plate 92 above, the pet can comfortably pass even while moving. A fastener 93 is provided on a side surface of the covering member 90 so that the inner floor member can be taken out and cleaned when it is soiled.
< Another embodiment of the Window >
Fig. 13 is a front view of the second window 5 of another embodiment. The second window 5 has: a window frame 500, a net 501 provided in the window frame, and a knob (not shown) provided on the window frame 500. By providing the net 501, the air permeability is improved and the condition of the pet inside can be confirmed. When the knob is pulled, the window frame 500 and the net 501 can be rotated downward about the hinge (the lower end of the window frame 500) to open the second window 5. A hook-and-loop fastener 502 is provided on the back surface of the window frame 500, and can be engaged with and disengaged from a hook-and-loop fastener 503 provided on the side surface of the front body 10. The hook-and-loop fastener 503 is also formed in a frame shape corresponding to the shape of the hook-and-loop fastener 502.
