The term "a" or "an" includes one or more than one of the number of elements. In the present specification, directional terms such as "upper", "lower", "inner", "outer", "top" and "bottom" are used only as exemplary terms with reference to a normal use direction, and the sequence of the manufacturing steps is only a preferred example of the program and is not intended to limit the scope of the claims.
The thin film type light-emitting key provided by a preferred embodiment of the invention can be applied to various computer keyboards, such as mechanical keyboards, thin film type keyboards or capacitive keyboards. The keys may be directly disposed on the keyboard base, or disposed on a mechanical switch (e.g., a CHERRY switch), or disposed on a scissors-type structure, and the following detailed description will be made with respect to various keyboard applications.
As shown in fig. 1 to 4, the thin film type light-emitting key is mainly made of a light-permeable material, such as plastic materials like PMMA, PC, etc. The film type light-emitting key includes a top portion 10 and an extending portion 12 surrounding the top portion 10, wherein a transparent film layer 14 is covered on an outer side surface of the top portion 10, the transparent film layer 14 according to the preferred embodiment is substantially in a shape of a flat cap with a thinner thickness, and a glue inlet portion 16 is disposed on an inner side surface of the top portion 10 corresponding to the position of the transparent film layer 14. The transparent film layer 14 and the top portion 10 can be selectively bonded directly by adhesion, or the transparent film layer 14 and the top portion 10 can be bonded by injection molding, which will be described below as related to the main processes.
As shown in fig. 3 and 4, when the key is manufactured by the injection molding method, the transparent film layer 14 is disposed at a position corresponding to the outer side surface of the top 10 inside the mold 40 having the female mold 42 and the male mold 44 in advance, specifically, the transparent film layer 14 is selectively disposed on the female mold 42 for injection molding, the glue inlet portion 16 of the key is disposed at a position corresponding to the inner side surface of the top 10 and the transparent film layer 14, and then the plastic material 18 can be injected into the cavity of the mold 40 from the glue inlet portion 16 of the mold 40 corresponding to the inner side surface of the top 10, and the transparent film layer 14 on the outer side surface of the top 10 is directly pressed, the transparent film layer 14 is not pushed away or moved away from the outer side surface of the top 10 by the flowing plastic material 18 in the process of combining the plastic material 18 from the glue inlet portion 16, and the transparent film layer 14 can be stably maintained on the top 10 of the key, so as to maintain a better product quality.
The above-mentioned process of the present invention is technically characterized in that the transparent film layer 14 needs to be stably held on the top of the key 10, the mold 40 can be selectively disposed on a horizontal forming machine or a vertical forming machine, the more general production equipment is that the mold 40 is applied to the horizontal forming machine, and the production efficiency and quality of the mold 40 can be improved by applying the vertical forming machine. In order to further improve the manufacturing and forming quality between the transparent film layer 14 and the key 10, the female mold 42 of the mold 40 is selectively provided with a negative pressure device to adsorb the transparent film layer 14, so that the transparent film layer 14 is not moved during the injection process of the plastic raw material 18, thereby being beneficial to increasing the manufacturing yield. If the manufacturing process is simplified, the transparent film layer 14 and the key can be manufactured separately, and then the transparent film layer 14 and the top 10 of the key are directly combined with each other by using an adhesive or a double-sided adhesive tape, so that the technical effect of the invention can be achieved. In addition, considering factors such as the optimization of the manufacturing efficiency of the whole keyboard, the plurality of light-transmitting film layers 14 can be simultaneously formed on the same film in an arrangement mode corresponding to the symbols of the computer keyboard, and the mold 40 can also be provided with a plurality of male molds 44 and female molds 42 in an arrangement mode corresponding to the plurality of light-transmitting film layers 14, so as to form the whole group of computer keyboards at one time.
In order to achieve the excellent light emitting effect of the present invention, as shown in fig. 2, a light shielding layer 20, a light transmissive symbol layer 22, a buffer layer 24, and an adhesive layer 26 are optionally sequentially disposed between the light transmissive thin film layer 14 and the top 10 of the key, the light shielding layer 20 has a light transmissive region 21, the light transmissive symbol layer 22 can be disposed on the light transmissive thin film layer 14 in its entire surface, or partially disposed on the corresponding light transmissive region 21, and the adhesive layer 26 is bonded to the outer side surface of the top 10 of the key. When the key projects light through the LED or the light emitting module, the light can outwardly penetrate through the light transmitting symbol layer 22 and the light transmitting region 21 of the light transmitting film layer 14 to project light, so that the key presents a light emitting symbol. Further, the light-transmitting symbol layer 22 may be partially or not provided, and the light-emitting effect can be achieved only by the light-transmitting region 21 of the light-shielding layer 20.
It should be noted that the transparent film layer 14 may be disposed from the top 10 to a partial area (as shown in fig. 1) or a whole area of the extension 12, so as to increase the light emission from the side direction of the whole key, thereby improving the visual effect of the key, and being more suitable for operation and entertainment.
As shown in fig. 5, which is a schematic state of the present invention applied to a mechanical switch, a joint shaft 30 is disposed on an inner side surface of a top portion 10 of a key, the joint shaft 30 is disposed in cooperation with a cross spindle of the mechanical switch, and the cross spindle is driven to move up and down when the key is actuated, as shown in fig. 6, a glue inlet portion 16 of a film type light-emitting key may be disposed on the joint shaft 30 in addition to the inner side surface of the top portion 10, or as shown in fig. 9, a rib 17 is disposed on the inner side surface of the top portion 10 of the key, and the glue inlet portion 16 may be disposed on the rib 17. As shown in fig. 7, when a key-column integrated switch is disposed under the key, the key-column 19 is disposed on the inner side of the key, and the key-column 19 can slide on a keyboard 50, and as shown in fig. 8, a scissors-type structure 52 is disposed under the key, the scissors-type structure 52 at least comprises a cross-support structure 54, and one end of the cross-support structure 54 is connected to the key, all of which achieve the technical features of the present invention.
In summary, the present invention utilizes the inner side surface of the top 10 of the key to be provided with the glue inlet portion 16 corresponding to the transparent thin film layer 14, so that the transparent thin film layer 14 and the top 10 of the key are covered on a part of or all of the area of the extension portion 12, thereby achieving the purposes of simplifying the process, lowering the cost, matching diversified and exquisite quality feeling, improving the production quality, meeting the requirements of environmental protection and energy saving, etc.
