For example, text information with a length greater than the maximum length in the abstract is removed, and only text information with a length less than or equal to the maximum length is saved; or deleting part of the text information under the condition that the number of the text information in the abstract information exceeds the maximum number, for example deleting the text information corresponding to the recommended content with lower access quantity, so that the number of the text information in the abstract does not exceed the maximum number; or according to the storage date of the recommended content corresponding to the text information, storing only the text information corresponding to the recommended content with the storage date within a preset period, and the like.
In addition, the redundancy of the text information in the abstract can be reduced by removing the duplication of the text information in the abstract, namely removing the duplicated text information in the abstract.
In the embodiment of the present application, the summary of the first recommended page is displayed in the second recommended page of the target application, and after the electronic device generates the summary of the first recommended page, the electronic device may directly display the summary in the second recommended page when the recommended page of the target application is switched from the first recommended page to the second recommended page. For example, it may be to display the summary in a semi-transparent floating window in the second recommendation page, and so on.

In the embodiment of the present application, after displaying the summary of the first recommended page in the second recommended page in step 103, the electronic device may display a recommended content control (i.e., a target recommended content control) associated with any one of N pieces of text information (i.e., target text information) in the summary, where the first input is received for the text information.
The first input may be any input for any text information (i.e., target text information) in the abstract and used for indicating and displaying a recommended content control associated with the text information, and may be at least one of a voice input, a space gesture input, a touch input, and the like.
The first input may be an input performed in the abstract; or may be an input made in the content associated with the summary, and any one of the text information in the summary may be indicated by the input.

In the embodiment of the present application, the displaying the target recommended content control may be performed by, after the electronic device generates the abstract, or associates the abstract with the third snapshot, when the electronic device refreshes the recommended page of the target application program to the second recommended page, if the user needs to view the content recommended by the first recommended page before refreshing, the user may display at least one of the abstract and the third snapshot through input, and when the electronic device displays at least one of the abstract and the third snapshot, if the electronic device receives the target text information in the abstract indicated by the user, the electronic device may display the target page including the target recommended content control in the display interface of the target application program, so that the user may view the content of interest before refreshing the recommended page through the target recommended content control in the target page.
