Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of composite films, in particular to an antibacterial coating and a preparation method and application thereof.
Background
As a main material for decoration, PVC films are widely used in architectural decoration, indoor spaces, and furniture. Due to the close contact with human, there is a certain demand for a PVC film having an antibacterial function in a market environment where the demand for a residential environment is increasing. For common pathogenic bacteria such as staphylococcus aureus, escherichia coli and klebsiella pneumoniae, the bacteria cannot survive in a scene with PVC application by endowing PVC antibacterial performance. Because the PVC membrane is soft, the anti-bacterial function can be realized in the coating, and the wear resistance and the scratch resistance of the PVC in the actual application scene can be ensured.
Disclosure of Invention
Based on the above, the invention aims to overcome the defects of the prior art and provide a coating with an antibacterial function and a preparation method thereof.
In order to achieve the purpose, the technical scheme adopted by the invention is as follows: an antibacterial coating comprises the following components in parts by weight: 100 parts of functional polyacrylate, 6-20 parts of curing agent, 50-60 parts of solvent and 0.5-1.5 parts of antibacterial agent; the functional polyacrylate is polyhydroxy polyacrylate.
The invention provides the coating with the antibacterial function through the common matching of the functional polyacrylate, the curing agent, the solvent and the antibacterial agent, and the coating can be applied to a PVC film, so that the antibacterial function is realized, and the wear resistance and the scratch resistance of PVC in an actual application scene are ensured. The antibacterial coating is a film surface coating, and needs better weather resistance, stain resistance and scratch resistance, so a two-component coating system is selected. The acrylic resin has good weather resistance and hardness, and hydroxyl is used as a crosslinking point and can be well combined with a curing agent.
Preferably, the antibacterial coating comprises the following components in parts by weight: 100 parts of functional polyacrylate, 15 parts of curing agent, 55 parts of solvent and 1 part of antibacterial agent; the hydroxyl number of the polyhydroxypolyacrylate is from 20 to 80. Through a large number of creative experimental researches, the inventor of the application finds that when the antibacterial coating adopts the components, the obtained coating effect is optimal. The hydroxyl resin with the hydroxyl value of 20-80 specification is a resin with a medium hydroxyl value, has good binding sites with isocyanate, is stable in reaction, and does not have the problems of softening and moisture absorption of a coating layer caused by excessive residual hydroxyl.
Preferably, the curing agent is at least one of epoxy resin, Toluene Diisocyanate (TDI), and diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI); the solvent is at least one of butanone and n-butanol. Preferably, the antibacterial agent is a quaternary ammonium salt or an imidazolinone.
Further preferably, the curing agent is toluene diisocyanate or diphenylmethane diisocyanate; the solvent is a mixture of butanone and n-butanol, and the weight ratio of the butanone to the n-butanol is as follows: butanone: the curing agent selected in the application has good effect in consideration of the curing time and the scratch resistance of the coating, namely n-butyl alcohol is 3:2-7: 1.
Further preferably, the weight ratio of butanone to n-butanol in the solvent is: butanone: n-butanol 7: 1. The proportion of the solvent is mainly used for adjusting the surface drying time of the coating, and the coating surface flaws can be caused by too fast and too slow, and the inventor of the application finds that the proportion of butanone: when the ratio of n-butyl alcohol to 7:1 is equal, the surface drying time of the coating is optimal.
In addition, the invention provides a preparation method of the antibacterial coating, which comprises the following steps: dispersing, stirring, heating and cooling functional polyacrylate, a curing agent, a solvent and an antibacterial agent to obtain the antibacterial coating.
Preferably, the dispersing speed is 2500-3500rpm, the stirring temperature is 25-35 ℃, and the stirring time is 10-20 min.
Further, the invention provides application of the antibacterial coating to PVC films.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that: the coating provided by the invention can be applied to PVC films, realizes an antibacterial function and can simultaneously ensure the wear resistance and scratch resistance of PVC in actual application scenes.

Effect verification
Verification of Effect of examples and comparative examples
The experimental process comprises the following steps: firstly, preparing the coating, then adding a corresponding amount of antibacterial agent according to the requirement, and uniformly stirring. And uniformly coating the surface of the semi-rigid PVC film by using a 5 mu film scraper. The time to dry the finger was recorded and the apparent uniform layer of the coating was observed
The experimental standard is as follows: the antibacterial effect is measured by adopting ISO 22196:2011 plastic and other non-porous surfaces; the scratch resistance is realized by EN 15186:2012/DIN 68861-4: 2013; the surface drying time is 8-15s according to the optimal range of production practice; the poor, good and excellent appearance of the coating is mainly the appearance judgment, and the judgment is carried out according to whether pinholes, flow marks and the severity.
The experimental results are as follows: the results are shown in tables 5 and 6:
table 5 verification of the effects of examples 1 to 3
Example 1 | Example 2 | Example 3
Surface dry time/s | 14 | 8 | 11 |
Appearance of coating | Good wine | Good wine | Superior food |
Antibacterial activity value | 3.6 | 5.8 | 4.7 |
Scratch resistance rating | 4D | 4C | 4D |
TABLE 6 verification of the effects of comparative examples 1 to 4
Comparative example 1 | Comparative example 2 | Comparative example 3 | Comparative example 4
Surface dry time/s | 5 | 10 | 21 | 17 |
Appearance of coating | Difference (D) | Good wine | Difference (D) | Good wine |
Antibacterial activity value | 4.3 | 4.5 | 5.2 | 5.5 |
Scratch resistance rating | 4E | 4E | 4C | 4E |
As can be seen from tables 5 and 6, since the volatilization rate of n-butanol is slower, more n-butanol in the solvent causes slow drying of the coating surface, butanone: the appropriate proportion of n-butanol is 3:2-7: 1; the excessive hydroxyl coating in the polyhydroxy acrylic ester has insufficient scratch resistance, and the proper hydroxyl value range is 20-80; the molecular weight and the appearance of the coating are influenced by the amount of the curing agent, the appearance of too much coating is poor, the scratch resistance of too little coating is poor, and the appropriate amount of the curing agent is 6-20; the imidazolidinone and the quaternary ammonium salt have good antibacterial effect, wherein the addition amount of the quaternary ammonium salt is more than 0.5/100 of the acrylate, or the addition amount of the imidazolidinone is more than 1/100 of the acrylate, namely the good antibacterial effect is achieved. When the antibacterial activity value is 2, the antibacterial rate reaches 99%, the higher the antibacterial rate is, the larger the antibacterial activity value is, and the antibacterial rate of the coating prepared by the embodiment of the application meets the requirement.
Finally, it should be noted that the above embodiments are only used for illustrating the technical solutions of the present invention and not for limiting the protection scope of the present invention, and although the present invention is described in detail with reference to the preferred embodiments, it should be understood by those skilled in the art that modifications or equivalent substitutions can be made on the technical solutions of the present invention without departing from the spirit and scope of the technical solutions of the present invention.
