Abstract
The invention discloses a method and a device for protecting a steel wire rope of a submarine pipe buckling detector, wherein the device comprises two supporting plates, a sleeve, a cover plate and two steel wire rope clamps, the two supporting plates are fixed at two ends of the sleeve, openings which are overlapped with ports at two ends of the sleeve are respectively arranged on the two supporting plates, a rope inlet opening is arranged on the side surface of the sleeve, gaps which correspond to the rope inlet opening and extend from the openings to the side edges of the supporting plates are arranged on the two supporting plates, the cover plate is blocked at the rope inlet opening, and the two steel wire rope clamps are clamped on the steel wire rope exposed at two ends of the sleeve. The device disclosed by the invention can avoid the adhesion of the steel wire rope of the buckling detector and the submarine pipe when the submarine pipe is welded.

Technical Field

Background
When laying a marine vessel at sea, a buckling detector device may be used inside the marine vessel to detect a buckling state at a mud point of the marine vessel. Since the buckling detector is placed inside the sea pipe and pulled by external equipment through the steel wire rope, the steel wire rope of the buckling detector inevitably passes through the sea pipe weld. Therefore, in the process of welding the marine pipe, the steel wire rope and the marine pipe are welded together at the welding seam of the marine pipe, which brings unnecessary trouble to the offshore construction.
In order to reduce the risk caused by the adhesion of the steel wire rope of the buckling detector and the welding seam of the sea pipe, a method for mounting a copper pipe on the steel wire rope is adopted at present, but the possibility of the adhesion of the copper pipe and the welding seam of the sea pipe still exists due to the contact of the copper pipe and the welding seam, and meanwhile, the welding quality of the welding seam is influenced due to the contact of the copper pipe and the welding seam.

The invention also discloses a steel wire rope protection device for the submarine pipe buckling detector, which comprises two supporting plates, a sleeve 1.1, a cover plate 1.2 and two steel wire rope clamps 5, wherein the two supporting plates are fixed at two ends of the sleeve 1.1, openings which are coincided with ports at two ends of the sleeve 1.1 are respectively arranged on the two supporting plates, a rope inlet opening is arranged on the side surface of the sleeve 1.1, and notches which correspond to the rope inlet openings and extend from the openings to the side edges of the supporting plates are arranged on the two supporting plates. The cover plate 1.2 is plugged in the rope inlet opening, so that the steel wire rope 4 is prevented from jumping out of the steel wire rope protection device 1. The two steel wire rope clips 5 are clamped on the steel wire ropes 4 exposed at the two ends of the sleeve 1.1 so as to fix the position of the steel wire rope protection device 1 on the steel wire ropes 4.
