The invention discloses an elevator performance detection system and a detection method, wherein the system comprises: the device comprises a main controller, an image detection module, a contact detection module and a pressure intensity detection module; the image detection module is connected with the main controller, the contact detection module is connected with the main controller, a first electromagnetic switch is arranged between the contact detection module and the main controller, the pressure detection module is connected with the main controller, and a second electromagnetic switch is arranged between the pressure detection module and the main controller; the invention can improve the efficiency of elevator performance detection and detect and adjust the pressure in the elevator so as to improve the comfort of the elevator.
