Description

Remanufacturing and using method of waste planar spline broach
Technical Field
The invention relates to a grinding method of a broaching tool, in particular to a remanufacturing method of a waste planar spline broach, a remanufactured broach and a using method.
Background
Broaching machining is an efficient machining process integrating gear hobbing, gear shaving and milling and sharpening, has high machining precision, is widely applied to various industrial fields including the automobile industry, and is also used for high-precision machining of difficult-to-cut materials such as turbine discs used in the generator industry and the aviation industry, so that the broaching machining process becomes an unavailable machining process in the modern industry. The broach is a large-scale forming tool, the material consumption of which is large, the price is high, the broaching service life is short, and the cost of a single tool is high, but after the broach is used at present, only the front edge surface is reground to improve the sharpness of the cutting edge of the broach, and after the front edge surface is ground for many times on a broach sharpening machine, when a workpiece machined by broaching cannot meet the requirement, the broach can only be scrapped, and the manufacturing cost of the workpiece is greatly increased.
The Chinese patent with the publication number of CN103203666A discloses a high-efficiency sharpening method for a sharp edge of a side-edge-free rough broach, which achieves the effects of small sharpening amount and uniform sharpening without changing the original overall enveloping line type of the broach. Chinese patent publication No. CN109822404A discloses a method for determining the grinding amount of special grinding of a rough broach for turbine race broaching, which is to determine the grinding amount of the resultant amount, reasonably grind the broach, and reuse new processing parameters. The two methods prolong the service life of the broach through grinding, but mainly aim at grinding the rough broach, and have complex grinding amount calculation and high processing cost.

d) the side of the broach key is manufactured in a lifting grinding mode;
step 2, measuring the wear depth S of the top blade 2 of the waste planar spline broach, and obtaining the top blade grinding amount Ld according to the following formula:
Ld=S+0.2mm;
if the top edge grinding amount Ld is less than or equal to 0.6mm, grinding the broach top edge 2 according to the top edge grinding amount Ld; otherwise, the waste planar spline broach is discarded;
and 3, obtaining a side edge grinding amount Lc by utilizing the top edge grinding amount Ld according to the following formula:
Lc=Ld*sinα
wherein α is a pressure angle;
grinding the side edge 4 of the broach according to the side edge grinding amount Lc;
step 4, grinding the front edge surface 3 of the broach to ensure that the sharpness of the cutting edge of the front edge surface 3 meets the design index requirement of the original broach and the shape and the size of a broach chip pocket are kept unchanged;
and 5, marking the thinning amount Ld and a remanufacturing mark on the thinned broach body 1 to complete remanufacturing of the broach.
Further, the step 1 also comprises the steps of cleaning the waste flat spline broach and removing greasy stains.
The invention also provides a remanufactured broach based on the waste planar spline broach, which is characterized in that: the remanufacturing method of the waste planar spline broach is adopted for remanufacturing.

Detailed Description
In order to more clearly explain the technical solution of the present invention, the following detailed description of the present invention is made with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific examples.
The plane spline broach is mainly a triangle spline broach, and the main state of old and useless plane spline broach is:
a. the full height of the cutter tooth can not meet the use requirement due to repeated grinding;
b. the tool is seriously broken, and the tip cutting edge of the broach is seriously worn and loses the grinding value;
c. improper use of the tool results in breakage.
In order to save cost, the collection, remanufacture and use method and the working process of the waste planar spline broach are as follows:
1. collecting waste planar spline broaches, classifying according to remanufacturing requirements, and cleaning;
2. the waste flat spline broach is remanufactured according to the method for remanufacturing the waste flat spline broach;
3. marking the remanufactured planar spline broach;
4. installing the remanufactured planar spline broach in a broach box according to the use scheme;
5. and (4) mounting the knife box on a corresponding broaching machine for processing.
The remanufacturing method of the waste planar spline broach is adopted to remanufacture the scrapped planar spline broach, and the main process steps are as follows:
(1) collection and classification of waste planar spline broaches
The waste planar spline broaches are collected and classified according to the scrap reasons, and the invention provides four feasible conditions for remanufacturing:
a. the broach which needs to be repaired after reaching the rated service life or abnormal broaching;
b. no continuous gear punching, no fracture or less than 4 broaches for continuous gear punching;
c. the thickness of the tooth back of the broach is more than or equal to 2 mm;
d. the key side of the broach adopts a lifting grinding mode during manufacturing.
And selecting the remanufacturable waste planar spline broach according to the 4 conditions, and cleaning the selected broach to remove stains such as grease and the like.
(2) Remanufacturing method of waste planar spline broach
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the remanufacturing method of the waste flat spline broach is equal-profile manufacturing, the tooth form 7 before grinding is the same as the tooth form 8 after grinding in width, and the specific method is as follows:
a. and (3) repairing and grinding the broach top edge 2 again: under general conditions, the tooth tops of the planar spline broaches are torn and worn, and through measurement, the wear depth S of the top edges 2 of the broaches is generally 0.1-0.3 mm, so that the broaches need to be completely worn according to the wear degree of each broaches. The higher the strength of the edge of the broach is, the more times the broach can be polished. However, the larger the sharpening amount of the broach top blade 2 is, the larger the broach tooth back thickness is, and the sharpening amount of the broach top blade 2 is large, which increases the sharpening amount of the side blade 4, and increases the sharpening cost. Therefore, considering comprehensively, the tip sharpening amount Ld is generally:
Ld=S+0.2
meanwhile, the depth of a carburized layer on the surface of the broach is generally about 1mm, so that the maximum top edge grinding quantity Lmax of the waste broach is 0.6 mm.
b. Reconditioning the broach side edge 4: the broaching tool is required to do not change the width of the tooth groove of the spline after broaching the workpiece, so the grinding amount required by the side edge 4 can be calculated according to a related conversion formula; for a commonly used triangular spline broach, the side edge thinning Lc is:
Lc=Ld*sinα
wherein: alpha is the pressure angle of the triangular spline.
c. Reconditioning the broach front facet 3: the broach chip pocket continues to use the original broach chip pocket, and only the front edge surface 3 needs to be polished normally.
d. Characters such as top edge grinding amount Ld and remanufacturing are printed on the ground planar spline broach body 1 to distinguish the flat spline broach from a new broach.
(3) Use method of waste planar spline broach
When the planar spline broach is normally used, the planar spline broach is directly mounted on the corresponding tool box 5, and the tool box 5 is mounted on a machine tool to be broached for use. However, when the remanufactured planar spline broach is used, as shown in fig. 3 and 4, a metal sheet with a certain thickness is added in the cutter box 5 and the broach body 1, for example, a copper sheet 6 with the thickness of H is placed between the remanufactured broach body 1 and the cutter box 5, the thickness of the copper sheet 6 is the same as the top edge grinding amount of the remanufactured broach, that is, H ═ Ld, and then the cutter box 5 is mounted on a machine tool, so that the remanufactured planar spline broach can be normally used.
Or the H-thick copper sheet 6 can be fixed at the bottom of the broach body 1 by adopting bonding and other modes, then the broach is installed in the corresponding knife box 5, and the knife box 5 is installed on a machine tool to be normally used.
The waste planar spline broach is remanufactured by the method, so that waste materials are changed into valuable materials, the tool becomes a brand new tool, the service life of the remanufactured broach can reach 70% of that of the original broach which is newly manufactured, the remanufacturing cost is 15% of that of the original new tool, and therefore the purchasing cost of the tool of an enterprise can be greatly reduced, and the cost of a single tool of a workpiece is reduced. Meanwhile, the cutter material can be fully utilized, and metal resources are saved.
The above description is only for the purpose of describing the preferred embodiments of the present invention and is not intended to limit the technical solutions of the present invention, and any known modifications made by those skilled in the art based on the main technical concepts of the present invention are within the technical scope of the present invention.
