Due to the development of a large screen of the mobile intelligent terminal, the space occupied by both hands of the terminal is larger and larger when a text is input, the input efficiency of inputting the text by one hand of a user is relatively low, the error rate is higher, and the one-hand interaction operation on the mobile intelligent terminal is more and more difficult. The problem of interaction between a user and a mobile intelligent terminal with one hand has been much relevant research in the past decade, and some researchers have confirmed that people often use a thumb or an index finger to operate on a touch screen of an intelligent mobile terminal. In one-handed operation, the user prefers to use the thumb, which is more convenient than using a stylus or index finger.
In interaction with a mobile intelligent terminal, the most common text input is touch input, and a keyboard similar to T9 (namely a 3X 3 layout Sudoku keyboard) is also commonly used on a touch screen of the terminal. The Optidium-T9 keyboard is a keyboard like the T9 that can rearrange the position of the keys to reduce word collisions, but requires multiple clicks by the user to spell the word, which increases thumb fatigue; stroke-based text input is another effective and commonly used text input method on mobile intelligent terminals, and there are some stroke-based text input methods, for example, sharewriter, which support imprecise input, in which a user slides all letters in a word in order on a touch screen keyboard, but such sliding input may output a large number of irrelevant words.

Detailed Description
The present disclosure is further described with reference to the following drawings and examples.
It should be noted that the following detailed description is exemplary and is intended to provide further explanation of the disclosure. Unless defined otherwise, all technical and scientific terms used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the art to which this disclosure belongs.
It is noted that the terminology used herein is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting of example embodiments according to the present disclosure. As used herein, the singular forms "a", "an" and "the" are intended to include the plural forms as well, and it should be understood that when the terms "comprises" and/or "comprising" are used in this specification, they specify the presence of stated features, steps, operations, devices, components, and/or combinations thereof, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
The embodiments and features of the embodiments in the present disclosure may be combined with each other without conflict.
Example 1:
the embodiment 1 of the present disclosure provides an input method based on an annular virtual keyboard, in which a plurality of touch keys are arranged in an annular virtual keyboard, when a trigger instruction is received, the annular virtual keyboard is activated by using a trigger point as a center, diversified input information is generated by combined touch of different keys or one or more times of touch of one key, and the input information is displayed in a blank space in the center of the annular virtual keyboard.
The annular virtual keyboard can rotate around the center, and touch keys are selected by sliding of the annular virtual keyboard.
Example 2:
the embodiment 2 of the present disclosure provides an input method based on an annular virtual keyboard, in which a plurality of touch keys are arranged in an annular virtual keyboard, when a continuous stroke trigger instruction is received, the annular virtual keyboard is activated with an initial trigger point as a center, diversified input information is generated by combined touch of different keys, and the input information is displayed in a blank space in the center of the annular virtual keyboard.
And obtaining a plurality of character combination sequences according to the touch keys sequentially connected by the continuous strokes, obtaining a plurality of candidate words according to the character combination sequences, and displaying the candidate words at the blank position in the center of the annular virtual keyboard.
Under the existing research guidance for the comfortable area and the maximum movement range of the thumb on the touch screen, the embodiment designs a virtual keyboard based on the sliding input of the mobile intelligent terminal, namely an annular virtual keyboard, as shown in fig. 1, the annular virtual keyboard is more suitable for the sliding movement of the thumb during single-hand input, the virtual keyboard is designed into an annular shape and can be regarded as a mapping of a T9 keyboard, characters are arranged in a vertical direction, and the operation is easy during use (as shown in fig. 2).
The biggest obstacle to adapting to the new keyboard is the familiar layout, and in order to reduce the learning cost, in the present embodiment, the letter arrangement on each area on the annular virtual keyboard is the same as that of the conventional T9 keyboard, and the first key (the key with the number 1 thereon) is a punctuation key, and the user can select a punctuation by sliding the area key.
The user uses the thumb to slide and move from the ring for inputting, according to the popularity frequency of the candidate words, the candidate words are arranged in the central blank area of the virtual keyboard ring, so that the user can select the candidate words as soon as possible.
Compared with a traditional matching algorithm based on a large dictionary T9 keyboard, the embodiment uses a dictionary containing 50000 English words with frequency information, and some researchers store the dictionary in a HashMap structure and use a prefix search tree; the hash table is a classic data structure using space exchange time, and the prefix search tree increases memory overhead of the storage node, which may result in a mobile phone with a smaller memory and reduced operation performance.
In this embodiment, when the program runs, the whole dictionary is directly read into the array, when a match is established, all possible combinations are listed, and put into the tree map using a binary search strategy, and the candidate words may be frequency-ordered. The intelligent word selection algorithm is low in memory overhead and capable of outputting candidate words in real time.
The embodiment provides feasibility evaluation of a ring-shaped virtual key of a mobile intelligent terminal, and the specific contents are as follows:
in the feasibility evaluation of the annular virtual key of the mobile intelligent terminal, a single-factor evaluation experiment design is adopted, and the difference of an invisible virtual keyboard (T9 sliding input keyboard) and an annular virtual keyboard (T9 annular mapping sliding input keyboard) on three evaluation indexes of input rate, error rate and usability is researched.
Firstly, a user participating in the evaluation experiment is guided to learn the basic operations of the two virtual keyboards and practice the text input methods of the two virtual keyboards. After the practice is completed, each user completes the English word input task as required, and the experimenter randomly selects 5 sentences from the selected phrase set. The experiment records the number of words entered per sentence, the time taken and the number of wrongly written words. After completing the task with the two virtual keyboards, the user fills in the usability questionnaire, and at the end of the whole experiment, the experimental results are processed.
Under the two virtual keyboard text input operations, the experimental evaluation shows the difference test results of three indexes of input rate, error rate and usability, as shown in fig. 3-11, for a specific evaluation result, compared with the invisible virtual keyboard, the input rate of the annular virtual keyboard has a significant advantage, the error rate is relatively low, the usability evaluation scores of the two keyboards also have a significant difference, and the experimental user considers that the annular virtual keyboard has higher usability.
The results show that the ring-shaped virtual keyboard is easier to use.
The embodiment provides a mobile intelligent terminal annular virtual key layout design evaluation, which comprises the following contents:
in the layout design evaluation of the annular virtual key of the mobile intelligent terminal, the design adopts 2 (shape: circle/ellipse) multiplied by 2 (radius: large/small) double-factor design, and the experiment researches the differences of 4 layouts of the annular virtual keyboard on three evaluation indexes of input rate, error rate and usability.
The circle with the eccentricity ratio of 0 and the ellipse with the eccentricity ratio of 0.83 are selected; according to the length of the major radius of the circle and the ellipse, the ellipse is divided into a large shape and a small shape respectively.
This application has designed four kinds of annular virtual keyboard models:
l-0: a circular keyboard with a radius of 26 mm and an eccentricity of 0 (shown in fig. 8).
S-0: a circular keyboard with a radius of 20 mm and an eccentricity of 0 (shown in fig. 9).
L-0.83: an elliptical keyboard with a major radius of 29 mm and an eccentricity of 0.83 (shown in fig. 10).
S-0.83: elliptical keyboard, long radius 24 mm, eccentricity 0.83 (shown in fig. 11).
Under the four layout annular virtual keyboard text input operations, the difference test results of the three indexes of input rate, error rate and availability are experimentally evaluated, and are shown in fig. 12 to 14 as specific evaluation results.
The input rate experimental results show that the larger virtual keyboard has a higher input rate but does not find the relevant influence of the keyboard shape compared with the smaller keyboard, and the error rate experimental results show that the larger virtual keyboard has a higher error rate, and the experimental user thinks that the circular layout virtual keyboard has higher usability.
In the embodiment, in the single-hand input research of the mobile intelligent terminal, both hands are liberated, so that the text input of the mobile intelligent terminal does not occupy both hands at the same time, and through the annular design of the virtual keyboard, the layout operation is in a comfortable area of the thumb, so that the thumb becomes a main interactive operation finger.
In the sliding input research of the mobile intelligent terminal, a user does not need to click operation, but inputs letters on the virtual keyboard through sliding, so that the fatigue of fingers is reduced, the thumb is more favorable for performing gesture operation, the virtual keyboard is designed in an annular shape, the user only slides in the ring for inputting, the unnecessary key area is avoided being touched, and the probability of error input is reduced.
