An embodiment of the invention provides a playing method of vehicle-mounted multimedia content, which can automatically identify video characteristics and play videos at proper positions, and improve driving pleasure and in-vehicle entertainment experience.
As shown in fig. 1, which is a schematic flow chart of a playing method 10 for vehicle-mounted multimedia content according to an embodiment of the present invention, the playing method 10 can be operated on a playing system having a central control host, a central display screen, and an a-pillar display module.
FIG. 1 herein uses a flowchart to illustrate the operations performed by a system according to embodiments of the present application. It should be understood that the preceding or following operations are not necessarily performed in the exact order in which they are performed. Rather, various steps may be processed in reverse order or simultaneously. Meanwhile, other operations are added to or removed from these processes.
As shown in fig. 1, a method 10 for playing vehicle-mounted multimedia content of the present invention includes the following steps:
101: the central control host acquires multimedia content;
102: the central control host determines the playing mode of the multimedia content;
103: judging whether the playing mode determined by the central control host in the step 102 is the horizontal screen playing;
104: when the judgment result in the step 103 is yes, that is, when it is determined that the playing mode is the landscape screen playing, the central control host plays the multimedia content on the central display screen and ends the process;
105: and when the judgment result in the step 103 is negative, that is, when the playing mode is determined to be vertical screen playing, the central control host sends the multimedia content to the a-pillar display module for playing, and the process is ended.
The a-pillar is a vehicle a-pillar, and illustratively, the a-pillar display module needs to have a signal and data receiving device and a screen, and the playing method 10 of the present invention utilizes a specific shape that the width of the vehicle a-pillar in the horizontal direction is much smaller than the length of the vehicle a-pillar in the vertical direction, so as to receive and play multimedia content that the playing mode determined by the central control host is the vertical screen playing.
Illustratively, in step 101, the central control host acquires multimedia content via the HTTP protocol. For example, the multimedia content may be a video asset from a network.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the multimedia content has display tags including a portrait display tag and a landscape display tag. Under such a configuration, in step 102 shown in fig. 1, the step of the central control host determining the playing mode of the multimedia content includes identifying the display tag to determine whether the playing mode is landscape playing or portrait playing. Specifically, the multimedia content having the portrait display tag is determined to be a portrait play, and the multimedia content having the landscape display tag is determined to be a landscape play.
Illustratively, in one embodiment of the invention, the multimedia content is tagged with a display tag. Specifically, the step of marking includes marking the display tag by an api (Application Programming Interface) function in a Java language Development kit jdk (Java Development ToolKit) of an Application program in which the multimedia content is located. For example, the style of the display label may be a symbol, a word, and/or a code of a combination of a number and a letter, etc., and the present invention does not limit the form of the display label.
In the embodiment of the present invention as shown in fig. 1, another process for playing multimedia content is further included, that is, before the central control host acquires the multimedia content in step 101, the process further includes step 106: and receiving a play mode manually selected by a user through the central control host, wherein the play mode comprises a vertical screen mode and a horizontal screen mode.
For example, the manner in which the central control host receives the play mode manually selected by the user may be to select the play mode through a key on the central display screen, but the invention is not limited thereto.
Further, when the result of determining whether the playback mode is the portrait mode in step 107 is yes, step 108 is executed in which the central control host only obtains the multimedia content whose playback mode is the portrait playback, and step 105 is executed continuously: the central control host sends the multimedia content to the A-column display module to be played and ends the process.
If the result of determining whether the playback mode is the portrait mode in step 107 is negative, step 104 is executed to play the multimedia content on the central display screen by the central control host, and the process is ended.
Illustratively, in step 105 shown in fig. 1, the manner in which the central control host sends the multimedia content to the a-pillar display module for playing is through Real Time Streaming Protocol-RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol), in which case, the a-pillar display module has a signal and data receiving device and a screen, and can be used as a Real Time Streaming playing end in the RTSP Protocol.
However, the present invention is not limited to this, for example, the data may also be transmitted by other screen projection protocols or mirror images, and under these circumstances, the a-pillar display module has a device capable of adaptively acquiring or receiving data, so as to achieve a better playing effect of playing the multimedia content more suitable for vertical screen playing on the screen of the a-pillar.
The invention further provides a playing system of the vehicle-mounted multimedia content, which can automatically identify the video characteristics and play the video at a proper position, and improves the driving pleasure and the in-vehicle entertainment experience.
Fig. 2 is a system block diagram of a playing system 20 for vehicle-mounted multimedia content according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 2, the playback system 20 includes a central control host 21, a central display 22, and an a-pillar display module 23.
Specifically, the central control host 21 is used for acquiring the multimedia content and determining the playing mode of the multimedia content. For example, multimedia content from a network, such as video resources from network movies and television, or short videos in an application, etc., may be obtained via the HTTP protocol. The central display 22 is connected to the central control host 21 and can play the multimedia content acquired by the central control host 21. The a-pillar display module 23 can also be used to receive and play multimedia contents acquired by the central control host 21.
Further, the central control host 21 is configured to play the multimedia content through the central display 22 (usually, a landscape screen) when the playback mode is determined to be landscape playback, and send the multimedia content to the a-pillar display module 23 (having a portrait screen) for playback when the playback mode is determined to be portrait playback.
Specifically, the multimedia content acquired by the central control host 21 may have display tags including a portrait display tag and a landscape display tag, and the central control host 21 is configured to determine whether the multimedia content is played in a landscape mode or a portrait mode through the display tags. For example, when the multimedia content has a landscape display tag, the central control host 21 determines the playback mode to be a landscape playback, and when the multimedia content has a portrait display tag, the central control host 21 determines the playback mode to be a portrait playback.
More specifically, the a-pillar display module 23 may further include a touch screen 230, and the a-pillar display module 23 is configured to display a play key, a pause key, and a fast forward/backward key on the touch screen 230. Thus, the user can directly operate on the A-pillar screen to better enjoy and control the entertainment application, especially the playing of multimedia content.
It will be appreciated that the screen on the a-pillar is generally clearly distinguishable from the screen type of the central display screen (including the size and dimensions of the screen, etc.). For some existing multimedia contents (such as video resources, etc.), the frames have a specific or fixed length and width, and if all the video resources are played on the central display screen with the fixed size and size, many video resources cannot meet the specific size of the central display screen, and then the problem that full-screen display cannot be performed or part of the frame contents after full-screen display is intercepted outside the screen of the central display screen occurs. At this time, if the video resources are selected to be played on the vertical display screen of the a pillar, a better playing effect can be achieved. Further, if the active screen A is provided with a touch screen, a passenger can more conveniently control the screen.
Having thus described the basic concept, it should be apparent to those skilled in the art that the foregoing disclosure is by way of example only, and is not intended to limit the present application.
