Description

Methanol fuel dual-fuel ship
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of ship construction, and particularly relates to a methanol fuel dual-fuel ship.
Background
Currently, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) stipulates that the global upper limit on the sulfur content of marine fuels is 0.5% and the sulfur content of fuels in sulfur emission control areas is 0.1% since 1 month 2020. The global "sulfur limit" and the increasing strictness of IMO carbon emissions are the effective and the upgrading of marine fuels is imminent. The alcohol-based fuel (methanol and ethanol) is a preferable alternative energy source for global shipping industry as a renewable and clean green energy source, and is an important direction for diversification and development of energy sources, but the application of the alcohol-based fuel in large ocean vessels at present still belongs to the blank field. At present, ocean vessels meet the main technical means of SOx emission requirements: firstly, a desulfurization washing device is installed; secondly, LNG and other sulfur-free fuels are used; thirdly, low-sulfur fuel oil is used, but the three technical schemes have defects: 1. the waste gas cleaning system device has large initial investment, large volume and difficult arrangement, increases the operation cost for waste liquid post-treatment, and limits the operation area of an open system; 2. due to the low-temperature cryogenic property of the LNG fuel, the difficulty of ship application technology is high, the investment cost is high, the influence of methane escape on the greenhouse effect is large, and the like; 3. the low-sulfur oil is used, the oil product of the low-sulfur oil is insufficient in supply, the price is high, the fluctuation is large, and the operation cost is high. Meanwhile, the conventional fuel oil supply system and the LNG gas supply system are not suitable for alcohol-based fuel, and the alcohol-based fuel must be provided with a special alcohol-based fuel supply system.
Therefore, a dual-fuel ship suitable for alcohol-based fuel and fuel oil fuel and low in investment cost needs to be designed.
