The atrial-corneal adhesion separation surgery has attracted much attention at home and abroad in recent years, and is considered to be an effective minimally invasive surgery mode for solving chronic angle-closure glaucoma.
Currently, when anterior atrial horn dissection surgery is performed, a proper amount of ophthalmic viscoelastic is generally injected into the anterior atrial horn, and the impact force of the viscoelastic on the anterior atrial horn separates the peripheral iris of anterior synechia from the anterior atrial horn, so that the trabecular meshwork is exposed, and the function of the trabecular meshwork is recovered.
Conventional atrial detacher needles are typically sharp and are used only as a viscoelastic spray, and conventional atrial detachers have a low efficiency of viscoelastic spray, while relying only on ophthalmic viscoelastic to separate the anterior chamber angle insufficiently, and if other structures are used, the structures of the angle are easily damaged during the procedure.
