in response to receiving the second discontinuous monitoring configuration message and the first closing indication, the mobile terminal does not monitor a downlink control message sent by the base station on the first carrier within the first period duration;
in response to the second timer being out of time, the base station re-determining whether to send data to the mobile terminal;
if the data is judged not to be sent to the mobile terminal again, the base station sends a second closing instruction to the mobile terminal on the first carrier wave;
in response to sending a second close indication to the mobile terminal on the first carrier, the base station resets a second timer and restarts the second timer, wherein the timeout time of the second timer is a second cycle duration;
in response to receiving the second close indication, the mobile terminal does not monitor a downlink control message sent by the base station on the first carrier for a second period of time after receiving the second close indication;
and if the mobile terminal does not receive any close indication sent by the base station after the first second periodic time length, monitoring, by the mobile terminal, the downlink control information sent by the base station for a second time period after the second periodic time length, wherein the length of the second time period is less than the length of the second periodic time length, wherein the length of the second time period and the starting time are indicated in the second discontinuous monitoring configuration message, and wherein the second periodic time length is the same as or different from the first periodic time length.
The invention provides an information collecting and analyzing system based on big data, which is characterized by comprising the following components:
means for establishing a communication connection with a base station by a mobile terminal and receiving a first discontinuous monitoring configuration message from the base station on a first carrier by the mobile terminal, wherein the mobile terminal and the base station communicate via the first carrier and a second carrier;
means for monitoring, by the mobile terminal, a downlink control message transmitted by the base station on the first carrier for an on period of each discontinuous monitoring cycle and stopping monitoring, by the mobile terminal, the downlink control message transmitted by the base station on the first carrier for an off period of each discontinuous monitoring cycle in response to receiving the first discontinuous monitoring configuration message, wherein the on period and the off period are indicated in the first discontinuous monitoring configuration message;
means for generating, by a big data analytics server, a data collection command for big data analytics;
means for transmitting, by the big data analytics server, a data collection command to a base station;
means for transmitting, by a base station, a first downlink control message to a mobile terminal on a first carrier in response to receiving a data collection command;
means for receiving, by the mobile terminal, a data collection command transmitted by the base station on a first carrier if a first downlink control message transmitted by the base station on the first carrier is monitored, wherein resources used to transmit the data collection command are transmitted in the first downlink control message;
means for establishing, by the mobile terminal, a communication connection with the base station, and receiving, by the mobile terminal, a second discontinuous monitoring configuration message from the base station on a second carrier;
means for determining, by the base station, whether to send data to the mobile terminal in response to sending a second discontinuous monitoring configuration message to the mobile terminal on a second carrier;
means for sending a first shutdown indication to the mobile terminal on the second carrier by the base station if it is determined that data is not to be sent to the mobile terminal;
and means for starting, by the base station, a first timer in response to sending the first off indication to the mobile terminal on the second carrier, where an expiration time of the first timer is a first period duration, and the first period duration is notified to the mobile terminal through the second discontinuous listening configuration message.
In a preferred embodiment, the big data based information collection and analysis system comprises:
means for, in response to receiving the second discontinuous reception configuration message and the first off indication, the mobile terminal not to monitor a downlink control message sent by the base station on the second carrier for a first period duration;
means for re-determining, by the base station, whether to transmit data to the mobile terminal in response to the first timer expiring;
means for sending a second shutdown indication to the mobile terminal on a second carrier by the base station if it is determined again that data is not to be sent to the mobile terminal;
means for resetting, by the base station, the first timer and restarting the first timer in response to sending a second close indication to the mobile terminal on a second carrier, wherein a timeout time of the first timer is a first period duration;
means for, in response to receiving the second off indication, the mobile terminal not to listen for downlink control messages sent by the base station on the second carrier for a second first period of time after receiving the second off indication;
means for monitoring, by the mobile terminal, downlink control information transmitted by the base station for a first time period after the first period duration if the mobile terminal has not received any off indication transmitted by the base station after the first period duration, wherein a length of the first time period is less than a length of the first period duration, and wherein the length of the first time period and the start time are indicated in the second discontinuous listening configuration message.
In a preferred embodiment, the big data based information collection and analysis system comprises:
means for re-determining, by the base station, whether to transmit data to the mobile terminal in response to the first timer expiring;
means for sending, by the base station, a first turn-on indication to the mobile terminal on a second carrier if it is determined again that the data collection command is to be sent to the mobile terminal;
a unit that resets the first timer and restarts the first timer by the base station in response to the first start instruction being sent to the mobile terminal on the second carrier, wherein an timeout time of the first timer is a first period duration;
means for monitoring, by the mobile terminal, for a second first period duration after receiving the first on indication, a downlink control message sent by the base station on the second carrier in response to receiving the first on indication;
means for continuing, by the mobile terminal, to monitor downlink control information transmitted by the base station until receiving again a turn-off indication transmitted by the base station if, after the second first period duration, the mobile terminal has not received any turn-off or turn-on indication transmitted by the base station;
means for the mobile terminal to not monitor downlink control messages sent by the base station on the second carrier for a third first period of time after receiving the third shutdown indication if the mobile terminal receives the third shutdown indication sent by the base station on the second carrier after the second first period of time.
In a preferred embodiment, the big data based information collection and analysis system comprises:
means for receiving, by the mobile terminal, the first discontinuous monitoring configuration message on the second carrier from the base station after receiving the second discontinuous monitoring configuration message on the second carrier from the base station;
means for listening, by the mobile terminal, for a downlink control message transmitted by the base station on the second carrier during an on period of each discontinuous listening cycle and for stopping listening, by the mobile terminal, for a downlink control message transmitted by the base station on the second carrier during an off period of each discontinuous listening cycle in response to receiving the first discontinuous listening configuration message, wherein the on period and the off period are indicated in the first discontinuous listening configuration message;
means for generating, by a big data analytics server, a data collection command for big data analytics;
means for transmitting, by the big data analytics server, a data collection command to the base station;
means for transmitting, by the base station, a second downlink control message to the mobile terminal on a second carrier in response to receiving the data collection command;
means for receiving, by the mobile terminal, a data collection command transmitted by the base station on a second carrier if a second downlink control message transmitted by the base station on the second carrier is monitored, wherein resources used to transmit the data collection command are transmitted in the second downlink control message;
means for receiving, by a mobile terminal, a second discontinuous monitoring configuration message on a first carrier from a base station after receiving the first discontinuous monitoring configuration message on the first carrier from the base station;
means for determining, by the base station, whether to send data to the mobile terminal in response to sending the second discontinuous monitoring configuration message to the mobile terminal on the first carrier;
means for sending a first shutdown indication to the mobile terminal on a first carrier by the base station if it is determined that data is not to be sent to the mobile terminal;
means for starting, by the base station, a second timer in response to sending the first off indication to the mobile terminal on the first carrier, where an expiration time of the second timer is a second cycle duration, and the second cycle duration is notified to the mobile terminal through a second discontinuous listening configuration message.
In a preferred embodiment, the big data based information collection and analysis system comprises:
means for, in response to receiving the second discontinuous reception configuration message and the first off indication, the mobile terminal not to monitor a downlink control message sent by the base station on the first carrier for a first period duration;
means for re-determining, by the base station, whether to transmit data to the mobile terminal in response to the second timer expiring;
means for sending, by the base station, a second shutdown indication to the mobile terminal on the first carrier if it is determined again that data is not to be sent to the mobile terminal;
means for resetting, by the base station, and restarting a second timer in response to sending a second off indication to the mobile terminal on the first carrier, wherein a timeout time of the second timer is a second cycle duration;
means for, in response to receiving the second off indication, the mobile terminal not to monitor for a downlink control message sent by the base station on the first carrier for a second period of time after receiving the second off indication;
means for listening, by the mobile terminal, for downlink control information transmitted by the base station for a second period of time after the second periodic time duration if the mobile terminal has not received any off indication transmitted by the base station after the first second periodic time duration, wherein a length of the second period of time is less than a length of the second periodic time duration, wherein the length of the second period of time and the start time are indicated in a second discontinuous listening configuration message, wherein the second periodic time duration has a same or different length than the first periodic time duration.

Claims (8)
1. The big data-based information collection and analysis method is characterized by comprising the following steps of:
establishing a communication connection with a base station by a mobile terminal, and receiving a first discontinuous monitoring configuration message from the base station on a first carrier by the mobile terminal, wherein the mobile terminal and the base station communicate via the first carrier and a second carrier;
in response to receiving the first discontinuous monitoring configuration message, monitoring, by the mobile terminal, a downlink control message transmitted by the base station on the first carrier for an on period of each discontinuous monitoring cycle, and stopping, by the mobile terminal, monitoring of the downlink control message transmitted by the base station on the first carrier for an off period of each discontinuous monitoring cycle, wherein the on period and the off period are indicated in the first discontinuous monitoring configuration message;
generating, by a big data analysis server, a data collection command for big data analysis;
sending a data collection command to a base station by a big data analysis server;
transmitting, by a base station, a first downlink control message to the mobile terminal on a first carrier in response to receiving a data collection command;
receiving, by the mobile terminal, a data collection command transmitted by the base station on a first carrier if a first downlink control message transmitted by the base station on the first carrier is monitored, wherein resources used to transmit the data collection command are transmitted in the first downlink control message;
establishing communication connection between the mobile terminal and the base station, and receiving a second discontinuous monitoring configuration message from the base station on a second carrier by the mobile terminal;
in response to sending the second discontinuous monitoring configuration message to the mobile terminal on a second carrier, determining, by the base station, whether to send data to the mobile terminal;
if the data is judged not to be sent to the mobile terminal, the base station sends a first closing indication to the mobile terminal on a second carrier wave;
in response to sending a first close indication to the mobile terminal on a second carrier, starting a first timer by a base station, wherein an overtime of the first timer is a first period duration, and the first period duration is notified to the mobile terminal through the second discontinuous monitoring configuration message;
in response to receiving the second discontinuous reception configuration message and the first off indication, the mobile terminal does not monitor a downlink control message sent by the base station on a second carrier within a first period duration;
in response to the first timer expiring, judging again by the base station whether to send data to the mobile terminal;
if the data is judged not to be sent to the mobile terminal again, the base station sends a second closing instruction to the mobile terminal on a second carrier wave;
in response to sending a second close indication to the mobile terminal on a second carrier, resetting, by the base station, a first timer and restarting the first timer, wherein an timeout time of the first timer is a first period duration;
in response to receiving the second off indication, the mobile terminal does not monitor a downlink control message sent by the base station on a second carrier for a second first period of time after receiving the second off indication;
monitoring, by the mobile terminal, downlink control information transmitted by the base station for a first time period after a first period duration if the mobile terminal has not received any off indication transmitted by the base station after the first period duration, wherein a length of the first time period is less than a length of the first period duration, and wherein the length of the first time period and a start time are indicated in the second discontinuous reception configuration message.
2. The big-data based information collecting and analyzing method according to claim 1, wherein the big-data based information collecting and analyzing method comprises the steps of:
in response to the first timer expiring, judging again by the base station whether to send data to the mobile terminal;
if the data collection command is judged to be sent to the mobile terminal again, the base station sends a first starting instruction to the mobile terminal on a second carrier wave;
responding to a first starting instruction sent to the mobile terminal on a second carrier, resetting a first timer and restarting the first timer by a base station, wherein the overtime time of the first timer is the first period duration;
in response to receiving the first on indication, monitoring, by the mobile terminal, a downlink control message sent by the base station on a second carrier for a second first period of time after receiving the first on indication;
if the mobile terminal still does not receive any turn-off indication or turn-on indication sent by the base station after the second first period duration, continuously monitoring downlink control information sent by the base station by the mobile terminal until the turn-off indication sent by the base station is received again;
if the mobile terminal receives a third close indication sent by the base station on the second carrier after the second first period duration, the mobile terminal does not monitor a downlink control message sent by the base station on the second carrier for a third first period duration after receiving the third close indication.
3. The big-data-based information collecting and analyzing method according to claim 2, wherein the big-data-based information collecting and analyzing method comprises the steps of:
receiving, by a mobile terminal, a first discontinuous monitoring configuration message from a base station on a second carrier after receiving the second discontinuous monitoring configuration message from the base station on the second carrier;
in response to receiving the first discontinuous monitoring configuration message, monitoring, by the mobile terminal, a downlink control message transmitted by the base station on the second carrier for an on period of each discontinuous monitoring cycle, and stopping, by the mobile terminal, monitoring a downlink control message transmitted by the base station on the second carrier for an off period of each discontinuous monitoring cycle, wherein the on period and the off period are indicated in the first discontinuous monitoring configuration message;
generating, by a big data analysis server, a data collection command for big data analysis;
sending a data collection command to a base station by a big data analysis server;
transmitting, by the base station, a second downlink control message to the mobile terminal on a second carrier in response to receiving the data collection command;
receiving, by the mobile terminal, a data collection command transmitted by the base station on a second carrier if a second downlink control message transmitted by the base station on the second carrier is monitored, wherein resources used to transmit the data collection command are transmitted in the second downlink control message;
receiving, by the mobile terminal, the second discontinuous monitoring configuration message from the base station on the first carrier after receiving the first discontinuous monitoring configuration message from the base station on the first carrier;
in response to sending the second discontinuous monitoring configuration message to the mobile terminal on the first carrier, determining, by the base station, whether to send data to the mobile terminal;
if the data is judged not to be sent to the mobile terminal, the base station sends a first closing indication to the mobile terminal on a first carrier wave;
and in response to sending a first off indication to the mobile terminal on the first carrier, starting, by the base station, a second timer, where an timeout time of the second timer is a second periodic duration, and the second periodic duration is notified to the mobile terminal through the second discontinuous listening configuration message.
4. The big-data-based information collecting and analyzing method according to claim 3, wherein the big-data-based information collecting and analyzing method comprises the steps of:
in response to receiving the second discontinuous reception configuration message and the first off indication, the mobile terminal does not monitor a downlink control message sent by the base station on the first carrier for a first period duration;
in response to the second timer expiring, whether to send data to the mobile terminal is judged again by the base station;
if the data is judged not to be sent to the mobile terminal again, the base station sends a second closing instruction to the mobile terminal on the first carrier wave;
in response to sending a second off indication to the mobile terminal on the first carrier, resetting, by the base station, a second timer and restarting the second timer, wherein the timeout time of the second timer is a second cycle duration;
in response to receiving the second off indication, the mobile terminal does not monitor the downlink control message sent by the base station on the first carrier for a second period of time after receiving the second off indication;
monitoring, by the mobile terminal, downlink control information transmitted by the base station for a second time period after a first second periodic time period if the mobile terminal has not received any off indication transmitted by the base station after the first second periodic time period, wherein a length of the second time period is less than a length of the second periodic time period, wherein the length of the second time period and a start time are indicated in the second discontinuous reception configuration message, wherein the second periodic time period has a same or different length than the first periodic time period.
5. A big data based information collection and analysis system, comprising:
means for establishing, by a mobile terminal, a communication connection with a base station, and receiving, by the mobile terminal, a first discontinuous monitoring configuration message from the base station on a first carrier, wherein the mobile terminal and the base station communicate via the first carrier and a second carrier;
means for monitoring, by the mobile terminal, a downlink control message transmitted by the base station on the first carrier for an on period of each discontinuous monitoring cycle and stopping monitoring, by the mobile terminal, the downlink control message transmitted by the base station on the first carrier for an off period of each discontinuous monitoring cycle in response to receiving the first discontinuous monitoring configuration message, wherein the on period and the off period are indicated in the first discontinuous monitoring configuration message;
means for generating, by a big data analytics server, a data collection command for big data analytics;
means for transmitting, by the big data analytics server, a data collection command to the base station;
means for transmitting, by a base station, a first downlink control message to the mobile terminal on a first carrier in response to receiving a data collection command;
means for receiving, by a mobile terminal, a data collection command transmitted by a base station on a first carrier if a first downlink control message transmitted by the base station on the first carrier is monitored, wherein resources used to transmit the data collection command are transmitted in the first downlink control message;
means for establishing a communication connection with a base station by a mobile terminal and receiving a second discontinuous listening configuration message from the base station on a second carrier by the mobile terminal;
means for determining, by a base station, whether to send data to the mobile terminal in response to sending the second discontinuous monitoring configuration message to the mobile terminal on a second carrier;
means for sending, by a base station, a first shutdown indication to the mobile terminal on a second carrier if it is determined that data is not to be sent to the mobile terminal;
means for starting, by a base station, a first timer in response to sending a first off indication to the mobile terminal on a second carrier, where an expiration time of the first timer is a first period duration, and the first period duration is notified to the mobile terminal through the second discontinuous listening configuration message;
means for, in response to receiving the second discontinuous reception configuration message and the first off indication, the mobile terminal not to monitor a downlink control message sent by the base station on a second carrier for a first period duration;
means for re-determining, by a base station, whether to send data to the mobile terminal in response to the first timer expiring;
means for sending, by the base station, a second shutdown indication to the mobile terminal on a second carrier if it is determined again that data is not to be sent to the mobile terminal;
means for resetting and restarting, by a base station, a first timer in response to sending a second close indication to the mobile terminal on a second carrier, wherein a timeout time of the first timer is a first period duration;
means for, in response to receiving the second off indication, the mobile terminal not to listen for a downlink control message sent by the base station on a second carrier for a second first period of time after receiving the second off indication;
means for monitoring, by the mobile terminal, downlink control information transmitted by the base station for a first time period after a first period duration if the mobile terminal has not received any off indication transmitted by the base station after the first period duration, wherein a length of the first time period is less than a length of the first period duration, and wherein the length of the first time period and a start time are indicated in the second discontinuous listening configuration message.
6. The big-data based information collecting and analyzing system of claim 5, wherein the big-data based information collecting and analyzing system comprises:
means for re-determining, by a base station, whether to transmit data to the mobile terminal in response to the first timer expiring;
means for sending, by a base station, a first turn-on indication to the mobile terminal on a second carrier if it is determined again that a data collection command is to be sent to the mobile terminal;
a unit for resetting a first timer and restarting the first timer by a base station in response to sending a first start instruction to the mobile terminal on a second carrier, wherein the timeout time of the first timer is a first period duration;
means for monitoring, by the mobile terminal, for a downlink control message sent by the base station on a second carrier for a second first period of time after receiving the first on indication in response to receiving the first on indication;
means for continuing, by the mobile terminal, to monitor downlink control information transmitted by the base station until receiving again a turn-off indication transmitted by the base station if, after a second first period duration, the mobile terminal has not received any turn-off or turn-on indication transmitted by the base station;
means for the mobile terminal not to listen to downlink control messages sent by the base station on the second carrier for a third first period of time after receiving a third close indication if the mobile terminal receives the third close indication sent by the base station on the second carrier after the second first period of time.
7. The big-data based information collecting and analyzing system of claim 6, wherein the big-data based information collecting and analyzing system comprises:
means for receiving, by a mobile terminal, a first discontinuous monitoring configuration message on a second carrier from a base station after receiving the second discontinuous monitoring configuration message on the second carrier from the base station;
means for listening, by the mobile terminal, for a downlink control message transmitted by the base station on the second carrier during an on period of each discontinuous listening cycle and for stopping listening, by the mobile terminal, for a downlink control message transmitted by the base station on the second carrier during an off period of each discontinuous listening cycle in response to receiving the first discontinuous listening configuration message, wherein the on period and the off period are indicated in the first discontinuous listening configuration message;
means for generating, by a big data analytics server, a data collection command for big data analytics;
means for transmitting, by the big data analytics server, a data collection command to a base station;
means for transmitting, by the base station, a second downlink control message to the mobile terminal on a second carrier in response to receiving the data collection command;
means for receiving, by a mobile terminal, a data collection command transmitted by a base station on a second carrier if a second downlink control message transmitted by the base station on the second carrier is monitored, wherein resources for transmitting the data collection command are transmitted in the second downlink control message;
means for receiving, by a mobile terminal, a second discontinuous monitoring configuration message on a first carrier from the base station after receiving the first discontinuous monitoring configuration message on the first carrier from the base station;
means for determining, by a base station, whether to send data to the mobile terminal in response to sending the second discontinuous monitoring configuration message to the mobile terminal on a first carrier;
means for sending, by a base station, a first shutdown indication to the mobile terminal on a first carrier if it is determined that data is not to be sent to the mobile terminal;
means for starting, by a base station, a second timer in response to sending a first off indication to the mobile terminal on a first carrier, where an expiration time of the second timer is a second period duration, and the second period duration is notified to the mobile terminal through the second discontinuous listening configuration message.
8. The big-data based information collecting and analyzing system of claim 7, wherein the big-data based information collecting and analyzing system comprises:
means for, in response to receiving the second discontinuous reception configuration message and the first off indication, the mobile terminal not to monitor a downlink control message sent by the base station on a first carrier for a first period duration;
means for re-determining, by the base station, whether to send data to the mobile terminal in response to the second timer expiring;
means for sending, by a base station, a second shutdown indication to the mobile terminal on a first carrier if it is determined again that data is not to be sent to the mobile terminal;
means for resetting, by the base station, a second timer and restarting the second timer in response to sending a second off indication to the mobile terminal on the first carrier, wherein a timeout time of the second timer is a second cycle duration;
means for, in response to receiving the second off indication, the mobile terminal not to monitor for a downlink control message sent by the base station on the first carrier for a second period of time after receiving the second off indication;
means for listening, by the mobile terminal, for downlink control information transmitted by the base station for a second time period after a first second periodic time period if the mobile terminal has not received any off indication transmitted by the base station after the second periodic time period, wherein the length of the second time period is less than the length of the second periodic time period, wherein the length of the second time period and a start time are indicated in the second discontinuous listening configuration message, wherein the second periodic time period has the same or different length as the first periodic time period.
