Compared with the prior art, the notch is arranged between the two fixing parts of the first row of conductive terminals, so that the card edge connector obtains a better high-frequency effect.

The invention discloses two embodiments.
Fig. 1 to 6 illustrate a card edge connector assembly 100 according to a first embodiment of the present invention, which includes a card edge connector 200, an electronic card 300 and an additional module, which is a heat dissipation module 400 according to the present invention. The card edge connector 200 is mounted on a circuit board (not shown), and one end of the card 300 is inserted into the card edge connector 200, thereby establishing an electrical connection between the card and the circuit board. The heat dissipation module 400 and the electronic card 300 are substantially parallel to each other and are mounted together on the same side of the card edge connector. The bottom surface of the heat dissipation module 400 is provided with a patch 410, and the patch 410 is attached to one side of the surface of the electronic card 300 for dissipating heat generated by the electronic card 300 during operation. The patch 410 is made of heat-conducting glue or heat-conducting cotton and has certain elasticity.
The card edge connector 200 includes an elongated insulative housing 220, a plurality of conductive terminals 210 held on the insulative housing 220, and a cover 260 covering the insulative housing 220. The insulating body 220 is provided with a slot 230 penetrating the front end face thereof forward, one end of the electronic card is inserted into the slot 230, the conductive terminal 210 includes a contact portion 2101 protruding into the slot 230 and a pin 2102, one end of the electronic card 300 is inserted into the slot 230 and forms an elastic contact with the contact portion 2101 of the conductive terminal 210, in this embodiment, the conductive terminals 210 are arranged in two rows. A fixing groove 500 is formed between the insulating body 220 and the cover 260, and one end of the heat dissipation module 400 is inserted into the fixing groove 500, so that the heat dissipation module 400 is further fixed to the card edge connector 200. The fixing groove 500 is located above the card slot 230, and the connecting pin 2102 is located below the card slot 230.
The insulation body 220 includes a body 240 and an additional portion 250 located above the body 240, that is, the insulation body 220 is provided with the additional portion 250 on its top surface, and the additional portion 250 includes a beam 251 and a first protrusion 252 and a second protrusion 253 located at two ends of the beam 251. The cover 260 is made of a metal plate and includes a top wall 270, two sidewalls 280 extending downward from the top wall 270, and a rear wall 290, which respectively cover the corresponding walls of the insulating body 220. The top wall 270 of the cover 260 is supported by the first and second protrusions 252 and 253. Fixing grooves 500 are formed between the top wall 270 and the cross member 251. The top wall 270 includes a main body 271 and an extension 272 extending forward from the main body 271, the extension 272 includes a first inclined portion 273 and a second inclined portion 274 parallel to each other and an opening 279 formed by the first inclined portion 273 and the second inclined portion 274, and the opening 279 is communicated with the fixing groove 500 for guiding the insertion of the heat dissipation module 400. The extension part 272 further includes a connection part 275 connecting the first inclined part 273 and the second inclined part 274, and the connection part 275 includes a horizontal part 276, a vertical part 277 bent and extended downward from a front edge of the horizontal part 276, and an attachment part 278 extended into the fixing groove 500 from a rear edge of the horizontal part 276. The attachment portion 278 extends rearward and downward. The additional part 250 further includes an inclined surface formed to extend rearward and downward from the beam 251 to facilitate the inclined installation of the heat dissipation module 400. In this embodiment, the attachment portion 250 further includes a plurality of ribs 254 extending rearward from the cross member 251, and the inclined surface is formed on top surfaces of the ribs 254. The attachment portion 278 is attached to the top surface of the rib 254. The heat sink module 400 is installed in the fixing groove 500 along the attaching portion 278 in an inclined manner.
Fig. 7 to 12 disclose a card edge connector assembly 100 'according to a second embodiment of the present invention, which includes a card edge connector 200', an electronic card 300 'and a heat dissipation module 400'. The structure is substantially the same as that of the first embodiment, and the differences will be mainly described below.
The top wall 270 ' includes a main body 271 ' and a reverse-folded portion 272 ' extending from a front edge of the main body 271 ' in a reverse-folded manner, the fixing groove 500 ' is formed between the reverse-folded portion 272 ' and the insulating body 220 ', and the reverse-folded portion 272 ' is configured to abut against the heat dissipation module 400 '. The main body 271 'is further provided with a spring 273' extending downward into the fixing groove 500 'and abutting against the heat dissipation module 400'. The additional portion 250 ' further includes an inclined surface extending rearward and downward from the cross member 251 ' to facilitate the inclined installation of the heat dissipation module 400 '. In the present embodiment, the attachment portion 250 'further includes an inclined portion 254' extending rearward from the cross member 251 'and formed at a top surface of the inclined portion 254'. The heat dissipation module 400 ' is installed in the fixing groove 500 ' along the inclined portion 254 ' with inclination.

A card edge connector (200) comprises an insulating body (220) and a plurality of conductive terminals (210) fixed on the insulating body, wherein the conductive terminals are arranged at the front end and the rear end of the insulating body to form a first row of conductive terminals (211) and a second row of conductive terminals (212) respectively, the insulating body is provided with a clamping groove (230) penetrating through the front end face of the insulating body, each conductive terminal comprises a contact part (2101) protruding into the clamping groove, a pin (2102) and a vertical part (2103) connecting the contact part and the pin, and the vertical part comprises a fixing part (2104) protruding from the rear side edge of the vertical part; the method is characterized in that: the holding parts of the first row of conductive terminals comprise first holding parts (2105) close to the contact parts and second holding parts (2106) close to the pins, a notch (2107) which is recessed backwards is arranged between the first holding parts and the second holding parts at the front side edge of the vertical part, the notch extends upwards to the position below the first holding parts, and the vertical parts of the second row of conductive terminals are not provided with the notches.
