Technical Field

Background
An Automatic Neighbor Relation (ANR) characteristic is defined in a 3GPP wireless NR system protocol, a gNodeB can issue CGI measurement to UE supporting CGI report, instruct the UE to measure an unknown neighbor, and add the unknown neighbor to the neighbor relation of a current cell according to a result reported by the UE measurement, so that the work of manually configuring the neighbor can be greatly reduced. Whether the UE supports CGI reporting or not is reported to the nodeb via the UE capability information, and the relevant capability parameters are shown in fig. 1. As shown in fig. 1, the CGI reporting capability reported by the UE is differentiated between an SA scenario and an NSA scenario. And the nr-CGI-Reporting is used for informing the gNodeB that the UE supports CGI Reporting in the SA scene, and the nr-CGI-Reporting-ENDC is used for informing the gNodeB that the UE supports CGI Reporting in the NSA scene.
The nr-CGI-Reporting capability is added before the 38.331-f40 protocol, and is commonly used for CGI Reporting capability in SA/NSA scenarios, as shown in fig. 2.
The 38.331-f50 protocol newly adds nr-CGI-Reporting-endec capability for CGI Reporting capability in NSA scenarios, and nr-CGI-Reporting is only used for SA scenarios, as shown in fig. 3.
When there is UE supporting f40 protocol and f50 protocol coexisting in the network in the SA/NSA hybrid networking scenario, if the UE capability only reports nr-CGI-Reporting but not nr-CGI-Reporting-endec, the nodeb cannot accurately identify whether the UE supports CGI Reporting capability in the NSA scenario because it cannot acquire information about whether the UE supports f40 protocol or f50 protocol:
if the UE supports the f40 protocol and the gNodeB is identified as supporting the f50 protocol, the gNodeB does not issue CGI measurement configuration to the UE in an NSA scene, so that the effective range of ANR characteristics is reduced;
if the UE supports the f50 protocol and the gnnodeb is identified as supporting the f40 protocol, the gnnodeb issues CGI measurement configuration to the UE in the NSA scenario, but the UE does not support CGI measurement at this time, which may cause various unknown results such as network resignation of the UE.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a method and a system for improving the reporting accuracy of UE (user equipment) capacity, UE and a gNodeB, so as to solve the problem that the gNodeB cannot be accurately identified due to insufficient accuracy of CGI (common gateway interface) reporting capacity in a 3GPP 38.331 protocol.
