Abstract
The invention provides a method and a system for mixed connection of radio broadcast and internet audio, which are mainly used for complementing radio broadcast and internet audio, and can automatically continue to access internet audio streams associated with the radio broadcast through data communication networks such as a computer network, a 4G/5G mobile communication network, a WiFi wireless local area network and the like so as to continue to listen to the current radio broadcast program when radio broadcast signals of the environment where a user is located are not covered or have poor signals. On the contrary, when a user accesses an internet audio stream associated with a certain radio broadcast using a data communication network such as a computer network, a 4G/5G mobile communication network, a WiFi wireless lan, etc., the user can automatically switch to receiving a radio wave to listen if the radio broadcast signal exists in the environment because of a network problem and cannot listen normally.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of network interface technologies, and in particular, to a method and a system for mixing radio broadcasting and internet audio.
Background
Currently, audio receiving devices capable of being used independently mainly include: the decoder or the player for receiving the Bluetooth audio signal is only suitable for receiving the signal of the Bluetooth master device and cannot be used independently, so the decoder or the player does not belong to audio receiving equipment which can be used independently.
The two devices described above work in completely different ways. A radio or satellite radio that receives radio broadcast signals can only receive radio wave signals through a radio antenna and then output the received audio signals after processing such as tuning, demodulation, audio restoration or decoding, output, etc., but when the radio signals of the environment where the user is located are bad or do not cover, the user cannot listen to the broadcast programs well; the internet audio stream player or software uses internet protocol to obtain audio data stream through computer network, mobile communication and other data communication network, then outputs the received audio data stream through de-encapsulation, decoding, digital-to-analog conversion, output and other processes, when using the device to play, if the current network environment of the user is not good, the radio broadcast signal corresponding to the program listened to in time is good, but the user still can not listen to the program normally.
Although there are hybrid devices that can support both radio or satellite radios receiving radio broadcast signals and internet audio streaming players, they are still separate two-part modules that are shared only on the final audio signal output or control interface. Therefore, when it is necessary to switch from a radio broadcast signal to an internet audio streaming service or from the internet audio streaming service to a radio broadcast, the switching needs to be manually performed.
In view of the above problems, there is a need for an audio receiving solution that can flexibly switch between the two audio receiving apparatuses.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above problems, it is an object of the present invention to provide a method and system for mixing radio broadcast and internet audio.

associating, by a DNS server, a signal parameter of a radio broadcast defined as an FQDN to an address of an Internet audio streaming service corresponding to the radio broadcast;
acquiring an address of the internet audio streaming service corresponding to the FQDN at a receiving terminal through the DNS server; and/or, acquiring an FQDN corresponding to the address of the Internet audio streaming service by the DNS server at a receiving terminal;
receiving an IP audio stream signal of a radio broadcast program at the receiving terminal according to the acquired address of the internet audio stream service; and/or, interpreting receiving parameters according to the acquired FQDN at the receiving terminal and receiving signals of radio broadcasting according to the receiving parameters.
According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a hybrid system of radio broadcasting and internet audio, comprising a DSN server and a receiving terminal, wherein,
the DNS server is used for associating the signal parameter of the radio broadcast defined as FQDN to the address of the Internet audio streaming service corresponding to the radio broadcast;
the receiving terminal is used for acquiring the address of the internet audio streaming service corresponding to the FQDN through the DNS server; and/or, acquiring an FQDN corresponding to the address of the Internet audio streaming service by the DNS server at a receiving terminal; and receiving an IP audio stream signal of the radio broadcast program according to the acquired address of the internet audio stream service; and/or, interpreting a receiving parameter according to the acquired FQDN and receiving a broadcast signal according to the receiving parameter.
By using the method and the system for the mixed connection of the radio broadcast and the internet audio, the automatic switching can be carried out according to the states of the radio broadcast and the internet audio streaming service. On one hand, when the radio broadcast signal of the environment where the user is located is not covered or the signal is poor, the internet audio stream associated with the radio broadcast can be automatically continuously accessed through a data communication network such as a computer network, a 4G/5G mobile communication network, a WiFi wireless local area network and the like so as to continuously listen to the current radio broadcast program; on the other hand, when a user accesses an internet audio stream associated with a certain radio broadcast using a data communication network such as a computer network, a 4G/5G mobile communication network, a WiFi wireless local area network, or the like, if a network problem causes abnormal listening, the presence of the environment in which the radio broadcast signal is present may automatically switch to receiving radio wave listening.

In the following description, for purposes of explanation, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of one or more embodiments. It may be evident, however, that such embodiment(s) may be practiced without these specific details. In other instances, well-known structures and devices are shown in block diagram form in order to facilitate describing one or more embodiments.
Furthermore, the terms "comprises," "comprising," and "having," and any variations thereof, are intended to cover a non-exclusive inclusion, such that a process, method, system, article, or apparatus that comprises a list of steps or elements is not necessarily limited to those steps or elements expressly listed, but may include other steps or elements not expressly listed or inherent to such process, method, article, or apparatus.
Before describing the embodiments of the present invention in detail, some technical terms used in the present invention will be described to facilitate understanding of the embodiments of the present invention.
Internet domain name resolution (DNS): is a service of the internet. DNS can map IP addresses into hierarchical authority names, enabling a person to more conveniently access the internet. Since nodes on the internet all use a 32-bit binary IP address as a unique identifier and are accessed through the IP address, even if the 32-bit binary IP address can be written in a 4-ten digit form of 0-255, the binary IP address is still too long and difficult to remember, and thus a concept of Domain Name (Domain Name) is generated. The domain name can associate an IP address with a meaningful set of characters, and when a user accesses an internet node, the user can input the IP address of the node and also input the domain name of the node, which are equivalent to the access. The name space of the Domain name system is a hierarchical structure, which can be regarded as a tree structure, the Domain name of a node is formed by the labeled connection of all nodes from the node to the root, the middle is separated by points, the Domain name of the node at the uppermost layer is called a Top-Level Domain name (TLD), the Domain name of the node at the second layer is called a second-Level Domain name, and so on.
Fqdn (full Qualified Domain name), full Qualified Domain name: with host and domain names. A fully qualified domain name may logically indicate exactly where the host is, or it may be said that a full domain name is a complete representation of a host name.
CNAME: i.e., alias records. Such records allow multiple names to be mapped to the same computer. Typically for computers providing both WWW and MAIL services. For example, there is a computer named "host. mydomain. com" (a record) that provides both WWW and MAIL services, and in order to facilitate user access to the services, two aliases (CNAME) may be set for the computer: WWW and MAIL.
FM: and (5) frequency modulation broadcasting.
AM: and amplitude modulation broadcasting.
PCM: pulse code modulation.
The technical solution of the present application will be described in detail below with specific examples. The following several specific embodiments may be combined with each other, and details of the same or similar concepts or processes may not be repeated in some embodiments.
Fig. 3 shows a simple signal trend of an audio program signal reaching a receiving terminal through a radio broadcast signal and an internet audio stream service respectively according to an embodiment of the invention. As shown in fig. 3, the hybrid method and system for radio broadcasting and internet audio provided by the present invention have two main application scenarios:
(1) when the radio broadcast signal of the environment where the user is located is not covered or the signal is poor, the internet audio stream associated with the radio broadcast can be automatically continuously accessed through a data communication network such as a computer network, a 4G/5G mobile communication network, a WiFi wireless local area network and the like so as to continuously listen to the current radio broadcast program.
(2) When a user accesses an internet audio stream associated with a certain radio broadcast using a data communication network such as a computer network, a 4G/5G mobile communication network, a WiFi wireless local area network, or the like, it is possible to automatically switch to receiving radio wave listening if the radio broadcast signal exists in an environment where the user is unable to listen normally due to a network problem.
Fig. 1 shows a flowchart of a method for mixing radio broadcast and internet audio according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1, the method for mixing radio broadcast and internet audio comprises the following steps:
s110: the signal parameters of the radio broadcast, defined as the FQDN, are associated by the DNS server to the address of the internet audio streaming service corresponding to the radio broadcast.
In order to mix radio broadcast and internet audio, a service provider providing radio broadcast is required to define a signal parameter of radio broadcast as FQDN, and then associate the FQDN with an address of an internet audio streaming service corresponding to the radio broadcast program, which may be an IP address or a CNAME address, through a trusted DNS server. During the application process, the CNAME address will be finally interpreted as an IP address through DNS.
Fig. 2 shows a schematic diagram of associating a radio broadcast signal with an internet audio streaming service through a DNS server according to an embodiment of the present step. As shown in fig. 2, in the streaming path of the radio broadcast signal, the audio program signal is converted into a radio broadcast signal by FM/AM modulation and then transmitted by the radio broadcast network; in the internet streaming path, the audio program signal is transmitted through the internet after being converted into the internet audio streaming service through encoding. The invention relates the radio broadcast program parameter and the internet audio service through a related DNS server, defines the signal parameter of the radio broadcast as FQDN, and then relates the FQDN to the internet audio stream service IP address or CNAME address corresponding to the radio broadcast program through a trusted DNS server, thereby realizing the relation of the radio broadcast program parameter and the internet audio service.
In the step, parameters such as frequency, modulation mode and the like of radio broadcast signals of audio broadcast are defined by internet hierarchical domain names to correspond to internet audio stream IP addresses.
For example:
for terrestrial radio broadcast FM/AM can be described as an internet FQDN:
"freq.zone.huhao.fm.basedomain", wherein:
freq represents the frequency of the radio broadcast
zone indicating signal service area of the radio broadcast
huhao-indicating call letters of the radio broadcast
fm represents the modulation mode of the radio broadcast
BaseDomain, which represents a domain name providing DNS service provided by the business entity of the present invention
S120: acquiring an address of the internet audio streaming service corresponding to the FQDN at a receiving terminal through a DNS server; and/or, acquiring the FQDN corresponding to the address of the internet audio streaming service through the DNS server at the receiving terminal.
In this step, when the receiving terminal acquires a defined FQDN of a certain radio broadcast service, the receiving terminal may directly acquire parameters of the radio broadcast, such as frequency, modulation mode, area, etc., through the FQDN, or may acquire an IP address or CNAME of an internet audio service corresponding to the FQDN by querying the FQDN through the DNS server. On the contrary, if the receiving terminal acquires an IP address or a CNAME of a certain internet audio streaming service, it may also reversely resolve to an FQDN corresponding to the IP address or the CNAME through the public DNS, and then acquire signal parameters of a radio broadcast corresponding to the FQDN, such as a frequency, a modulation mode, and a region. The specific search flow is shown in fig. 4.
S130: receiving an IP audio stream signal of a radio broadcast program at a receiving terminal according to the acquired address of the internet audio stream service; and/or, interpreting reception parameters according to the acquired FQDN at the receiving terminal and receiving the signal of the radio broadcast according to the reception parameters.
The hybrid reception of radio broadcast and internet audio services is accomplished by the receiving terminal. After the address and/or the FQDN of the Internet audio stream service are/is acquired, the receiving parameters can be interpreted according to the acquired address or the FQDN of the Internet audio stream service, and the required radio broadcast is received according to the receiving parameters, so that the automatic switching of the radio broadcast and the Internet audio stream is realized, the radio broadcast or the Internet audio stream service is automatically switched and used by a user in the process of listening to the same program, and the listening program is ensured not to be interrupted.
Specifically, as a practical example, in the process that a receiving terminal receives an IP audio stream signal of a radio broadcast program according to an acquired address of an internet audio stream service, the receiving terminal detects reachability and metadata information of the internet audio stream service at regular time according to the acquired IP address of the internet audio stream service; wherein,
if the reachability and metadata information meet the preset quality requirement, the internet audio streaming service is available, and the internet audio streaming service can be switched to continue to provide broadcast program playing when the signal quality of the associated radio broadcast program is poor;
if the reachability and metadata information does not meet the preset quality requirement, the internet audio streaming service is indicated to be unavailable, if the current user is listening to the program by using the service, the terminal detects a signal of a radio broadcast program associated with the service, if the signal meets the preset quality requirement, the terminal switches to the radio broadcast to continue providing broadcast program playing, and if the signal does not meet the preset quality requirement, the user is prompted that the broadcast program service is unavailable.
In the process that the receiving terminal interprets the receiving parameters according to the acquired FQDN and receives the signals of the radio broadcast according to the receiving parameters, the receiving terminal interprets the receiving parameters according to the acquired FQDN and detects the strength and the signal-to-noise ratio of the signals of the radio broadcast at regular time according to the receiving parameters; if the strength and the signal-to-noise ratio of the signal of the radio broadcast meet the preset quality requirement, controlling a radio broadcast receiving module of the receiving terminal to receive the signal of the radio broadcast according to the receiving parameters of the modulation mode, the frequency, the symbol rate and the like of the radio broadcast through signaling; if the strength and the signal-to-noise ratio of the radio broadcast signals do not meet the preset quality requirement, controlling an internet audio stream receiving module to acquire internet audio stream data from a target address through signaling; the target address is the address of the internet audio streaming service corresponding to the FQDN, which is acquired by the DNS server.
In addition, in order to maintain the continuity of the playback signal, after the reception terminal interprets the reception parameter according to the acquired FQDN and receives the signal of the radio broadcast according to the reception parameter or the IP audio stream signal of the radio broadcast program according to the acquired address of the internet audio stream service, further demodulates and converts the received signal of the radio broadcast into a PCM signal, decodes the received IP audio stream signal of the radio broadcast program into the PCM signal, and stores the PCM signal in the playback buffer; and then the PCM signal in the play buffer area is converted into an analog audio signal and output to a loudspeaker or an earphone for playing.
It should be noted that, because the signal properties are different, the radio broadcast is an analog signal and needs to be demodulated, and the internet audio service is a data stream and needs to be decoded, the "demodulation" of the signal of the radio broadcast and the "decoding" of the IP audio stream signal of the radio broadcast program are different processing modes.
It can be seen from the above embodiments that the hybrid connection method of radio broadcast and internet audio provided by the present invention is mainly used for radio broadcast and internet audio complementation, and has two main scenes, one of which is that when the radio broadcast signal of the environment where the user is located is not covered or the signal is poor, the internet audio stream associated with the radio broadcast can be automatically continuously accessed through a computer network, a 4G/5G mobile communication network, a WiFi wireless local area network, and other data communication networks, so as to continuously listen to the current radio broadcast program.
The method of mixing radio broadcast and internet audio according to the present invention is described above with reference to fig. 1. The method for mixing radio broadcast and internet audio frequency can be realized by software, hardware or a combination of software and hardware.
Corresponding to the method, the invention also provides a mixed connection system of the radio broadcast and the internet audio. Fig. 5 shows a logical structure of a hybrid system of radio broadcasting and internet audio according to the present invention.
As shown in fig. 5, the hybrid system 500 for radio broadcasting and internet audio provided by the present invention mainly includes at least one DSN server 510 and a receiving terminal 520, which is a hybrid receiver capable of receiving radio broadcasting and internet audio. Wherein the DNS server is responsible for the correspondence of radio broadcast program parameters to internet audio streaming services. The radio broadcast and internet audio hybrid receiver is responsible for receiving a broadcast signal from a radio or acquiring an audio streaming service of a broadcast program from the internet.
Specifically, the DNS server 510 is configured to associate a signal parameter of a radio broadcast defined as FQDN, which includes parameters such as frequency, modulation scheme, area, and the like of the radio broadcast, to an address of an internet audio streaming service corresponding to the radio broadcast, which includes an IP address or a CNAME address.
The receiving terminal 520 is configured to obtain an address of the internet audio streaming service corresponding to the FQDN through the DNS server; and/or, acquiring an FQDN corresponding to the address of the internet audio streaming service at the receiving terminal through a DNS server; and receiving an IP audio stream signal of the radio broadcast program according to the acquired address of the internet audio stream service; and/or interpreting reception parameters according to the acquired FQDN and receiving a signal of a radio broadcast according to the reception parameters.
The working process of the radio broadcast and internet audio hybrid system 500 is divided into three parts:
(1) the definition of the radio broadcast identifies an association with a corresponding internet audio streaming service.
This section provides the service provider of the radio broadcast, defines the signal parameters of the radio broadcast as FQDN, which is then associated by a trusted DNS server to the internet audio streaming service IP address or CNAME address corresponding to the radio broadcast.
(2) Search for radio broadcasts.
In this section, when a receiving terminal acquires a defined FQDN of a certain radio broadcast service, the receiving terminal may directly acquire parameters of the radio broadcast, such as frequency, modulation mode, area, and the like, through the FQDN, or may acquire an IP address or CNAME of a corresponding internet audio streaming service by querying the FQDN through a public DNS service. On the contrary, if the receiving terminal acquires an IP address or a CNAME of a certain internet audio streaming service, the receiving terminal may also reversely resolve to an FQDN corresponding to the IP address or the CNAME through the public DNS, and then acquire parameters such as a frequency, a modulation mode, a region, and the like of a radio broadcast corresponding to the FQDN.
(3) Hybrid reception of radio broadcast and internet audio streaming services.
The hybrid reception of the radio broadcast and the internet audio streaming service is performed by the receiving terminal 520. The receiving terminal 520 includes: the receiving control module 521, the signal searching module 522, the signal detecting module 523, the radio broadcasting receiving module 524, the internet audio stream receiving module 525 and the audio playing module 526 are six parts.
The receiving control module 521 is responsible for receiving an input signal of a user at a terminal, and then performs signal search control and play control such as audio playing, stopping, volume adjusting and the like according to the input signal of the terminal. The terminal input signal includes the FQDN of the radio broadcast and/or the address of the internet audio streaming service.
The signal search module 522 is configured to obtain, according to the FQDN of the radio broadcast in the terminal input signal or the IP address or the CNAME of the internet audio streaming service, and according to the search function shown in the above steps S110 to S130 (or shown in fig. 4), signal parameters such as a modulation scheme, a frequency, a region, and the like of the radio broadcast and information such as the corresponding IP address or the CNAME of the internet audio streaming service.
The signal detection module 523 is responsible for periodically detecting the strength and signal-to-noise ratio of the radio broadcast signal, and the reachability and metadata information of the internet audio streaming service according to the signal parameters and the IP address or the CNAME address acquired from the signal search module 522. If the strength and the signal-to-noise ratio of the radio broadcast signal reach certain quality requirements, the radio broadcast receiving module is controlled to receive the radio broadcast signal according to the radio broadcast receiving parameters through signaling. If the strength and signal-to-noise ratio of the radio broadcast signal are below the quality requirement, the internet audio stream receiving module is controlled by signaling to obtain the internet audio stream data according to the IP address or the CNAME address.
The radio broadcast receiving module 524 is configured to receive a radio broadcast signal according to given radio broadcast receiving parameters (modulation mode, frequency, etc.), demodulate and convert the obtained signal into a PCM signal, and send the PCM signal to the audio playing module.
The internet audio stream receiving module 525 is configured to obtain internet audio stream data from a given IP address or CNAME address, decode the internet audio stream data into a PCM signal, and send the PCM signal to the audio playing module.
The audio playing module 526 is used to store the PCM signal sent from the radio broadcast receiving module or the internet audio stream receiving module into the playing buffer, and convert the PCM signal in the playing buffer into an analog audio signal to be output to a speaker or an earphone.
The mixed connection method and the mixed connection system of the radio broadcast and the internet audio can realize the cross-region service and the interactive service of the traditional broadcast audio program by utilizing the respective advantages of FM/AM radio or satellite broadcast and internet audio streaming service so as to promote the fusion development of a broadcast station and the internet audio. For example: when the user moves out of the coverage area of the listened radio broadcast signal during roaming, or the radio broadcast signal of the environment is poor or the signal is interfered, the user can automatically continue to access the internet audio stream associated with the radio broadcast through a data communication network such as a computer network, a 4G/5G mobile communication network, a WiFi wireless local area network and the like so as to continue to listen to the current radio broadcast program; or when a user accesses an internet audio stream associated with a certain radio broadcast using a data communication network such as a computer network, a 4G/5G mobile communication network, a WiFi wireless local area network, etc., if the user is in an environment where the user has the radio broadcast signal, the user can automatically switch to receiving the radio wave for listening if the user cannot normally listen due to a network problem; or when the user needs to listen to the broadcast station programs of other domestic regions across regions, the user can directly listen to the broadcast programs of the target region by using parameters such as the target region, the frequency and the like. Therefore, the invention has important significance for the convergence development of radio broadcasting and internet audio in China.
The method and system for mixing radio broadcast and internet audio according to the present invention are described above by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings. However, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various modifications can be made to the method and system for mixing radio broadcast and internet audio without departing from the scope of the invention. Therefore, the scope of the present invention should be determined by the contents of the appended claims.
