Abstract
The invention discloses a fingerprint lock and an unlocking method thereof, wherein the unlocking method comprises the following steps: collecting a fingerprint image of a user; judging whether the acquired fingerprint image meets the verification standard or not; comparing the fingerprint image with a registered standard fingerprint when the fingerprint image meets the verification standard; and judging whether to perform unlocking operation according to the comparison result. The fingerprint lock and the unlocking method thereof provided by the invention firstly judge whether the collected fingerprint image meets the verification standard, compare the fingerprint image with the registered standard fingerprint when the fingerprint image meets the verification standard, and then judge whether to perform the unlocking operation according to the comparison result, thereby being capable of improving the success rate of fingerprint identification.

Background
The existing fingerprint identification method has the phenomenon of high false rejection rate or the phenomenon of high first identification failure rate after the lock is awakened.
