the vertical plate assembly comprises a plurality of vertical plates which are vertically arranged and are communicated with each other, and two adjacent vertical plates are hinged with each other; one end of the hanging rod is fixedly connected with one vertical plate; the vertical plate is provided with a plurality of air outlet holes for discharging hot air generated by the hot air component; a connecting mechanism connected between the vertical plates on the vertical plate assembly; when the two vertical plate assemblies are unfolded to be plate-shaped, the two connecting mechanisms are connected with each other, when the vertical plate assemblies are individually enclosed to be annular, the connecting mechanisms are connected end to end, and after the vertical plate assemblies are folded, one end of the connecting mechanism of one vertical plate assembly is connected with one end of the connecting mechanism of the other vertical plate assembly; the connecting mechanism comprises one or more groups of connecting chains which are connected in the vertical plates in a sliding manner, the connecting chains comprise hollow connecting plates which are arranged in one-to-one correspondence with the vertical plates, and two adjacent connecting plates are mutually hinged; when the connecting chains are positioned at one end of the stroke, the hinging positions of the connecting plates are in one-to-one correspondence with the hinging positions of the vertical plates; when the connecting chain is positioned at the other end of the stroke, the hinged positions of the connecting plates are all positioned in the vertical plate; communication holes communicated with the inner cavity of the vertical plate are formed in each connecting plate, and the communication holes are always positioned in the vertical plate;

A portable garment steamer as claimed in claim 1, wherein: the charging mechanism comprises a charging seat fixed on a charging tray, two vertically arranged conductive columns are inserted on the charging seat, the conductive columns are electrically connected with an external power supply, and when the hand-held iron is installed on the charging tray, the storage battery faces one end of the charging tray to be fixed with two conductive cylinders for the conductive columns to be inserted.
