At present, a yarn splicer is mainly used for twisting ends of broken yarns or two yarns to obtain knotless spliced yarns, and the yarns are positioned on the yarn splicer mainly through a yarn gripper; the existing yarn gripper is composed of a base and two yarn guide sheets, an opening for a yarn to enter is formed between the yarn guide sheets, the yarn is positioned in the opening, the yarn gripper with the structure can play a normal wiring effect when twisting inelastic yarn, but when twisting elastic yarn (common elastic yarn is spandex coated yarn generally, namely fiber is coated outside the spandex), the spandex inside the elastic yarn can retract due to elasticity, and only fiber is wound on the twisting wiring part due to retraction of the spandex, so that the wiring part loses elasticity, and the quality of the yarn is influenced. In addition, the existing yarn splicer is generally fixed on a machine body table-board, the height between the bottom of a twisting cavity and the machine body table-board is below 5mm, so that the length of a wiring part is short, and the winding tightness is influenced.

Preferably, one end of the positioning piece is fixedly connected with the yarn guide piece, and the other end of the positioning piece is connected with the yarn clamping piece through a hinge shaft; the torsion spring is inserted and sleeved on the hinge shaft, a force applying arm at one side of the torsion spring is connected with the yarn clamping sheet and controls the yarn clamping sheet to return, and the force applying arm at the other side of the torsion spring is elastically abutted to the fixed base.
Preferably, the thickness of the yarn guide piece and the yarn clamping piece is between 0.5mm and 5 mm.

The height between the bottom of the splicing cavity channel on the splicing cavity and the machine body table surface of the yarn splicer is between 10mm and 30 mm.
