Fig. 1 is a system architecture diagram illustrating a method for implementing media playback in accordance with an exemplary embodiment. As shown in fig. 1, the system comprises a first electronic device 10 and one or more second electronic devices 30 that can communicate with said first electronic device 10. The first electronic device 10 and the second electronic device 30 can communicate through the wireless access point 20, the wireless network including: Wi-Fi (WIreless FIdelity), bluetooth, 4G (fourth generation mobile communication technology), 3G (third generation mobile communication technology), and the like, and it is also possible to communicate via a wired network. Among them, electronic devices include but are not limited to: televisions, set-top boxes, computers, mobile phones, sound boxes, and the like.
Fig. 2A is a flowchart illustrating a media playing method according to an exemplary embodiment, and fig. 2B is a scene diagram illustrating a media playing method according to an exemplary embodiment. The media playing method can be applied to the first electronic device (e.g., a smart phone, a tablet computer), as shown in fig. 2A, the media playing method includes the following steps 101-103:
in step 101, a distance between a first electronic device and a user is detected while the first electronic device plays media content.
The media content includes, but is not limited to: video content, audio content, pictures, etc. The media content played by the first electronic device may be from a network resource on the internet or a local file stored on the first electronic device.
In one embodiment, step 101 may comprise:
detecting a signal strength value between the first electronic device and a wearable device of a user; and determining the distance between the first electronic equipment and the user according to the signal strength value.
In this embodiment, in order to detect the distance between the user and the electronic device, the user needs to wear a corresponding wearable device, for example: smart band, smart watch, etc. The first electronic device 10, the second electronic device 30 and the wearable device may be divided into a same network group (e.g., connected to a same Wi-Fi), and the wearable device and the first electronic device or the second electronic device may communicate with each other through a wireless network (e.g., bluetooth), so that the first electronic device or the second electronic device may determine the distance between the first electronic device and the user by detecting the strength of the wireless signal.
In another embodiment, step 101 may comprise:
and detecting the distance between the first electronic equipment and a user through a camera module on the first electronic equipment.
In this embodiment, in order to detect the distance between the user and the electronic device, the first electronic device and the camera module need to be equipped thereon, so that the image of the user can be captured by the camera module, and the distance between the first electronic device (or the second electronic device) and the user is determined according to the captured image.
In step 102, it is determined whether the first electronic device receives a notification message from a second electronic device when the distance between the first electronic device and the user is greater than a first distance threshold. Wherein the notification message is to indicate that a distance between the second electronic device and the user is less than a second distance threshold. When the first electronic device receives a notification message from a second electronic device, step 103 is entered.
When the distance between the first electronic device and the user is greater than the first distance threshold, it may be indicated to some extent that the user leaves the viewable range (for an electronic device playing video) or the hearable range (for an electronic device playing audio) of the first electronic device, in which case, if the user enters the viewable range or the hearable range of some second electronic device, the media content played on the first electronic device needs to be transferred to the second electronic device for playing. In this embodiment, when the user is within the viewable range or the listening range of the second electronic device, the second electronic device may notify the first electronic device through the notification message.
Different electronic devices may have different distance thresholds, such as: for a television set, the corresponding distance threshold may be 5 meters, and for a cell phone, the corresponding distance threshold may be 3 meters. Of course, in a possible embodiment, the first distance threshold and the second distance threshold may also be equal.
In step 103, the playing information corresponding to the media content played on the first electronic device is sent to the second electronic device.
In one embodiment, the playing information may include: media address and/or media play progress. For the media content from the internet, the media address may be a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) corresponding to the media content played on the first electronic device, such as: "http:// v.baidu.com/show/16946.htmfrp ═ bdbrand". The media playing progress may represent a playing progress of media content played on the first electronic device. For example, the total duration of a certain media content is 30 minutes, and when the user leaves the viewable range or the listening range of the first electronic device and enters the viewable range or the listening range of the second electronic device, the media content is played on the first electronic device for the 20 th minute, and then the media playing progress may be duration information played by the first electronic device. Thereafter, the second electronic device may obtain the media data according to the media address and play the media content from the 20 th minute, so that the user does not need to watch or listen from the beginning.
As shown in fig. 2B, in an exemplary scenario, user a is initially within a viewable or listening range on first electronic device 10 (i.e., user a is less than a first distance threshold from first electronic device 10), and some media content is playing on first electronic device 10. Thereafter, the user a moves from the viewable range or the listening range of the first electronic device 10 to the viewable range or the listening range of the second electronic device 30, wherein the above-mentioned moving action of the user a can be detected by the first electronic device 10 and the second electronic device 30. Finally, the first electronic device 10 sends playing information corresponding to the playing media content to the second electronic device 30, so that the second electronic device 30 can continue to play the media content, and the user a can continue to watch or listen to the same media content after moving the position.
In an embodiment, the method further comprises:
when the distance between the first electronic equipment and a user is larger than a first distance threshold value, transmitting the user characteristics of the user to at least one second electronic equipment which is communicated with the first electronic equipment;
the notification message is used to indicate that a distance between the second electronic device and a user having the user characteristic is less than a second distance threshold.
In an embodiment, before determining whether the first electronic device receives a notification message from a second electronic device, the method further comprises:
when the distance between the first electronic equipment and a user is larger than a first distance threshold value, sending a trigger instruction to at least one second electronic equipment which is communicated with the first electronic equipment; the trigger instruction is used for triggering a detection action of the at least one second electronic device.
In an embodiment, after sending playback information corresponding to media content played back on the first electronic device to the second electronic device, the method further comprises:
stopping playing the media content on the first electronic device.
In one embodiment, the stopping of the playing of the media content on the first electronic device includes:
stopping playing the media content on the first electronic device when it is not detected that the distance between the first electronic device and at least one user is less than a first distance threshold.
Please refer to the following embodiments for details of how to implement media playing.
As can be seen, in this embodiment, the above process does not require the user to operate on the electronic device, but detects a change in the distance between the user and the electronic device through the first electronic device and the second electronic device, so as to determine a timing for transferring the media content played on the first electronic device to the second electronic device for playing. Through the process, the user can still continue to watch or listen to the same media content through different electronic equipment after the user moves the position, the user operation is simplified, and the user experience is improved.
The technical solutions provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure are described below with specific embodiments.
FIG. 3A is a flow diagram illustrating another method of media playback according to an exemplary embodiment; FIG. 3B is one of the scene diagrams illustrating another method of media playback according to an exemplary embodiment; fig. 3C is a second scenario diagram illustrating another media playing method according to an example embodiment. In this embodiment, the method provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure is exemplarily described by taking an example of detecting the movement of the user through a camera module on the electronic device, and as shown in fig. 3A, the method includes the following steps:
in step 201, when a first electronic device plays media content, a distance between the first electronic device and a user is detected.
In this embodiment, the distance between the first electronic device and the user may be detected through a camera module on the first electronic device.
In step 202, it is determined whether the distance between the first electronic device and the user is greater than a first distance threshold. When the distance between the first electronic device and the user is greater than the first distance threshold, step 203 is entered.
In step 203, a first user characteristic of the user is transmitted to at least one second electronic device in communication with the first electronic device.
In this embodiment, when the first electronic device is playing the media content, the first user characteristics of one or more users watching or listening to the media content through the first electronic device may be acquired through the camera module on the first electronic device. The first user feature may be a face image feature obtained by a face recognition technology.
As shown in fig. 3B, in one exemplary scenario, initially, a user a, a user B view or listen to media content within a viewable range or a listening range of the first electronic device 10. Subsequently, the user a leaves the viewable range or the audible range of the first electronic device 10, and this process can be detected by the first electronic device 10 through the camera module. In order to determine which second electronic device (the second electronic devices may be multiple) the user a enters into the viewable range or the listening range, the first electronic device 10 needs to transmit the first user characteristic (the face image) of the user a to one or more second electronic devices, so that each second electronic device performs comparison by using the received first user characteristic.
In step 204, it is determined whether the first electronic device receives a notification message from a second electronic device when the distance between the first electronic device and the user is greater than a first distance threshold. Wherein the notification message is to indicate that a distance between the second electronic device and a user having the first user characteristic is less than a second distance threshold. Step 205 is entered when the first electronic device receives a notification message from a second electronic device.
In this embodiment, the distance between the user and the second electronic device may be detected by the camera module on the second electronic device, and it is determined whether the distance between the user and the second electronic device is smaller than the second distance threshold, so as to determine whether the user enters the viewable range or the audible range of the second electronic device. After detecting that a user enters the observable or listened range, the second electronic device needs to acquire a second user characteristic of the user entering the observable or listened range, and compares the acquired second user characteristic with the first user characteristic received from the first electronic device to determine whether the user entering the observable or listened range of the second electronic device is the same user as the user leaving the observable or listened range of the first electronic device. And if the users are the same, the notification message is sent to the first electronic equipment, and if the users are not the same, the notification message is not sent to the first electronic equipment.
As shown in fig. 3B, in one scenario, the first electronic device 10 detects that the user a leaves the viewable range or the audible range of the first electronic device 10, the second electronic device 30 detects that a user enters the viewable range or the audible range of the second electronic device 30, and by comparing the user characteristics, it is determined that the user a enters the viewable range or the audible range of the second electronic device 30, and then the second electronic device 30 may send a notification message to the first electronic device 10.
As shown in fig. 3C, in another scenario, the first electronic device 10 detects that the user a leaves the viewable range or the audible range of the first electronic device 10, the second electronic device 30 detects that a user enters the viewable range or the audible range of the second electronic device 30, and by comparing the user characteristics, it is determined that the user C enters the viewable range or the audible range of the second electronic device 30, but not the user a, and the second electronic device 30 does not send the notification message to the first electronic device 10.
Through the above process, the problem that the media content is not continuously played on the correct second electronic equipment can be avoided.
In step 205, playing information corresponding to the media content played on the first electronic device is sent to the second electronic device.
In this embodiment, the above process does not require the user to operate on the electronic device, but detects a change in the distance between the user and the electronic device through the first electronic device and the second electronic device to determine a timing for transferring the media content played on the first electronic device to the second electronic device for playing. Through the process, the user can still continue to watch or listen to the same media content through different electronic equipment after the user moves the position, the user operation is simplified, and the user experience is improved.
Fig. 4 is a flow chart illustrating another method of media playback according to an example embodiment. As shown in fig. 4, the method comprises the steps of:
in step 301, a distance between a first electronic device and a user is detected while the first electronic device plays media content.
In step 302, it is determined whether a distance between the first electronic device and a user is greater than a first distance threshold. When the distance between the first electronic device and the user is greater than the first distance threshold, step 303 is entered.
In step 303, a triggering instruction is sent to at least one second electronic device in communication with the first electronic device. The triggering instruction is used for triggering the detection action of the at least one second electronic device.
In an embodiment, taking the example of detecting the distance between the user and the electronic device through a wearable device worn by the user as an example, after the first electronic device detects that a certain user leaves the observable range or the audible range of the first electronic device, a trigger instruction may be sent by the first electronic device to at least one second electronic device (e.g., other smart devices with a play function connected to the same home Wi-Fi) to trigger a detection action of the at least one second electronic device, and the detection action may determine the distance between the wearable device and the second electronic device by detecting the strength of a signal between the second electronic device and the wearable device. For example, if the strength of the bluetooth signal between the electronic device and the wearable device is detected, the bluetooth polling mechanism of the at least one second electronic device may be turned on through the trigger instruction.
In this embodiment, the detection function of each second electronic device can be prevented from being always turned on, so that the resource consumption and the power consumption of the electronic devices are reduced.
In step 304, it is determined whether the first electronic device receives a notification message from a second electronic device. Wherein the notification message is to indicate that a distance between the second electronic device and the user is less than a second distance threshold. When the first electronic device receives a notification message from a second electronic device, step 305 is entered.
In step 305, playback information corresponding to the media content played back on the first electronic device is sent to the second electronic device.
The steps 301 to 303 and 305 can be referred to the description of the embodiment shown in fig. 3A, and are not described in detail here.
Fig. 5 is a flow chart illustrating yet another method of media playback according to an exemplary embodiment. As shown in fig. 5, the method comprises the steps of:
in step 401, when a first electronic device plays media content, a distance between the first electronic device and a user is detected.
