Background
In the field of high-speed backplane connectors, the signal transmission rate is faster and faster, and the signal crosstalk therewith is gradually increased, and in order to reduce the crosstalk, a method generally adopted is to shorten a signal return path, generally punch a spring sheet on a shielding member, and lap-joint the spring sheet with another grounding trace or the shielding member or other mechanisms with a grounding function.
With the development of miniaturization and high-speed connectors, a slight change in structure will bring about a remarkable change in transmission performance and reliability. Although the return path can be improved and crosstalk can be reduced by punching the spring plate, the transmission performance and reliability of the connector may be reduced.
Therefore, a metal shielding assembly and a connector are needed to solve the above technical problems.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a metal shielding assembly and a connector, which can effectively shorten a return path, reduce crosstalk between signals and improve signal quality.

The plastic package module 11 is of a plastic structure, is formed by injection molding, and is used for isolating the two metal shielding plates 12. The two metal shielding plates 12 are mainly used for enhancing isolation, increasing signal return paths and reducing signal crosstalk.
The second metal shielding part 2 includes a first connecting portion 21 and a plurality of contact portions 22 arranged on the first connecting portion 21 at intervals, the first connecting portion 21 is connected to the first metal shielding part 1, the contact portions 22 include two first elastic pieces respectively arranged on two sides of the first connecting portion 21, and the two first elastic pieces can be overlapped with the butt-plug end shielding part 20 of the butt-joint connector.
The contact portion 22 is connected to the first metal shield 1 through the first connection portion 21, and sufficient backflow can be ensured; the contact part 22 is provided with two first elastic sheets which are respectively lapped with the opposite plug end shielding piece 20, so that a backflow path can be effectively shortened, and crosstalk between signals is reduced; furthermore, the contact portions 22 are communicated with each other through the first connecting portion 21, so that a return path between the differential pairs can be shortened, and signal quality can be improved.
Specifically, the number of the contact portions 22 is the same as that of the side walls 201 of the opposite-insertion-end shielding member 20, and the contact portions 22 are arranged in a one-to-one correspondence manner, and the positions of the contact portions 22 are arranged in a correspondence manner with the side walls 201 of the opposite-insertion-end shielding member 20, so that the contact portions 22 are overlapped with the two side walls 201 of the opposite-insertion-end shielding member 20. That is, the separation distance between the intermediate lines of two adjacent contact portions 22 is the separation distance between two side walls 201 of the opposite terminal shields 20 or the separation distance between two adjacent opposite terminal shields 20. The contact portion 22 is specifically overlapped with the sidewall 201 of the opposite-plug terminal shield 20 in parallel to the surface of the first metal shield 1.
One of the two first elastic pieces of the contact portion 22 is disposed close to the first metal shielding element 1, and the other one is disposed far from the first metal shielding element 1. The second metal shielding part 2 further includes a fixing portion 23, specifically, the fixing portion 23, the first connecting portion 21 and the contact portion 22 are integrally formed, the fixing portion 23 connects the first connecting portion 21 and the first metal shielding part 1, the fixing portion 23 is specifically connected to one of the metal shielding plates 12, and the fixing portion 23 and the metal shielding plate 12 are connected by welding, preferably by laser welding in this embodiment. The fixing portion 23 is welded to the inside of the metal shield plate 12. The first connecting portion 21 is long, the middle position of the contact portion 22 is connected to the first connecting portion 21, and the fixing portion 23 is sheet-shaped. The fixing portion 23 is plural, and specifically, one fixing portion 23 is disposed between two contact portions 22 having a large spacing distance.
Preferably, the contact portion 22 is disposed perpendicular to the first connection portion 21 in this embodiment, and in other embodiments, the contact portion 22 is disposed at an angle with respect to the first connection portion 21.
Preferably, the metal shielding assembly further includes a spring assembly 3, the first metal shielding element 1 is provided with a plurality of spring assemblies 3 at intervals, and is specifically disposed on the metal shielding plate 12 which is not connected to the second metal shielding element 2, as a preference, the spring assembly 3 and the metal shielding plate 12 are integrally formed in this embodiment, and in other embodiments, the spring assembly 3 and the metal shielding plate 12 may also be connected by welding. The spring assembly 3 can be overlapped with the opposite-insertion-end shielding member 20. Specifically, the elastic piece assembly 3 includes a second connection portion 31 and one or two second elastic pieces 32 disposed on the second connection portion 31, and the second connection portion 31 is connected to the metal shielding plate 12. The spring assembly 3 is in a shape of a fishfork, and the second spring 32 can be overlapped with the opposite-insertion-end shielding part 20. The elastic sheet assemblies 3 at the two ends of the first metal shielding element 1 comprise a second elastic sheet 32, and the rest elastic sheet assemblies 3 comprise two second elastic sheets 32. The two side walls 201 of the opposite-plug-end shielding element 20 are respectively overlapped by the second elastic sheets 32, specifically, the second elastic sheets 32 of the elastic sheet assemblies 3 at the two ends of the first metal shielding element 1 are overlapped on the side surface of one opposite-plug-end shielding element 20, and the two second elastic sheets 32 of the rest elastic sheet assemblies 3 are respectively overlapped on the two adjacent opposite-plug-end shielding elements 20. The surface of the opposite-plug end shielding part 20 overlapped with the first elastic sheet is perpendicular to the surface overlapped with the second elastic sheet 32.
The second elastic sheet 32 of the elastic sheet component 3 is overlapped with the side wall 201 of the opposite plug end shielding piece 20, so that the backflow path can be effectively shortened, the crosstalk between signals is reduced, and the signal transmission quality is ensured. The second elastic sheet 32 of the elastic sheet component 3 is overlapped with the side surface of the opposite-inserting-end shielding piece 20, so that the elastic sheet component can be applied to communication between backflow planes in a narrow space.
The embodiment also discloses a connector which comprises the differential signal wire 4 and the metal shielding component. The differential signal line 4 is partially disposed in the first metal shield 1, and the butt terminal 41 of the differential signal line 4 is disposed to be exposed to the first metal shield 1. Specifically, the plastic package module 11 is provided with a plurality of accommodating cavities 111, and each accommodating cavity 111 corresponds to one differential signal line 4. The differential signal lines 4 are located in the accommodating cavities 111, and the differential signal lines 4 are used for transmitting differential signals. The differential signal line 4 is provided with two butt terminals 41 at intervals, and the contact of the butt terminal 41 of the differential signal line 4 and the contact of the first elastic sheet are located on the same side. The plastic package module 11 is injection molded at the outer side of the differential signal line 4, then the two metal shielding plates 12 are attached to the two sides of the plastic package module 11, the metal shielding plates 12 are arranged at the two sides of the differential signal line 4, the two metal shielding plates 12 can enhance the isolation shielding effect on the differential signal line 4, the signal backflow path is increased, and the signal crosstalk is reduced.
