Abstract
The invention relates to a device and a method for cutting defects and flash of a square billet, which comprises a U-shaped frame, a fastener, hanging pieces, a motor and a steel wire brush, wherein the U-shaped frame is a U-shaped frame, an opening is closed through the fastener, the U-shaped frame is used for containing the square billet, the U-shaped frame is externally fixed with a plurality of hanging pieces, the steel wire brush is fixedly connected with an output shaft of the motor, and the motor drives the steel wire brush to rotate. Background
At present, a flame mode is mostly adopted for cutting continuous casting billets, as shown in fig. 1, a certain amount of burrs, also called cutting burls, can be formed by cutting slag in the cutting process, the burrs can be brought into a heating furnace without being removed, the burrs in the heating furnace can fall off, some burrs can not fall off, the fallen burrs can easily block a flue, the fallen burrs enter a dephosphorization machine along with steel billets, most of the burrs are removed, but a small part of the burrs are not removed, the small part of the undeleted burrs can form scabs on the surfaces of products in the rolling process, judgment waste is generated in serious cases, or the cutting burls block a rolling mill guide to cause steel piling accidents, so the burrs of the cut billets are necessarily removed before the steel billets enter the heating furnace.

Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that:
the invention can effectively remove the flash (cutting tumor) on the square blank longitudinally cut by the plate blank, thereby effectively reducing the blockage of flue caused by the falling of the cutting tumor during heating and the surface scab and folding formed on the product by the cutting tumor, or reducing the steel piling accident caused by the blockage of the rolling mill guide by the cutting tumor. The U-shaped frame can be used for turning over a plurality of square billets simultaneously, and the working efficiency is improved. The turning of the square billet can completely expose the cutting defects on the square billet, so that the cutting defects are convenient to clean and observe, and the full and thorough cleaning of the flash is realized.

Referring to fig. 2-8, a device for cutting defects and flashes of a square billet comprises a U-shaped frame 4, fasteners 5, hanging pieces 6, a motor 10 and a steel wire brush 11, wherein the U-shaped frame 4 is a U-shaped frame, an opening is sealed by the fasteners 5, the U-shaped frame 4 is used for containing the square billet 1, the hanging pieces 6 are fixed on the outer portion of the U-shaped frame 4, the steel wire brush 11 is fixedly connected with an output shaft of the motor 10, and the motor 10 drives the steel wire brush 11 to rotate. The hanging pieces 6 are fixed at the upper part and the top end opening of the U-shaped frame 4 and the lower part of the U-shaped frame 4, so that the force application of the crane is uniform, and the overturning stability is ensured.

2) turning over the square billets 1 in the arrow direction, turning over all the square billets 1 by 180 degrees, turning over the square billets 1 along with the U-shaped frame 4, turning over the fins 2 at the bottom of the square billets 1 to the upper part, and enabling the fins 2 on the square billets 1 to be all upward, wherein the hook positions of the crane are adjusted to enable the U-shaped frame 4 to be suspended, and the square billets 1 are turned over in the arrow direction, as shown in fig. 3, so that all the fins 2 on the square billets 1 are turned over;
3) referring to fig. 8, the turned square billet 1 is placed on a rack, the square billet 1 is moved onto a roller way 12 by a moving trolley 8 matched with a lifting hydraulic cylinder 9, the square billets 1 next to each other are separated, and flash 2 is exposed;
4) the motor 10 is started, the wire brush 11 rotates, and the flash 2 is cleaned, as shown in figure 8. And finally, checking whether the flash 2, the cutting defects and the like are remained, and if so, continuing to clean.
Because the cutting burls are exposed on the upper surface of the square billet 1, the cutting burls can be cleaned by the steel wire brush 11, and can also be cleaned by other modes, such as a blade, a grinding wheel, a shovel and the like, so that the cutting defects can be thoroughly cleaned.
