Background
Kaolin is an important nonmetallic mineral material, and is widely applied to the industrial fields of ceramics, papermaking, rubber, plastics, coatings, catalysts, printing ink and the like due to sufficient raw materials and low price. Kaolinite is a hydrous layered silicate mineral, and its structure is composed of a layer of tetrahedron and aluminous octahedron which are vertically alternated. At present, kaolin calcination equipment can be roughly divided into two types: a kiln for ceramic industry is characterized in that powder is loaded in a sagger for static calcination and intermittent production, and because substances and a heat medium cannot be fully exchanged, energy waste is large, production capacity is low, and labor intensity is high; the other is equipment developed in China and specially used for kaolin calcination, namely a granulating calciner which is characterized by high heat utilization rate, but has the defects of material mixing, raw firing, unstable whiteness index and the like, the kaolin is required to be uniformly heated in the process of calcining the kaolin by different kaolin calciners, but the kaolin of the calciner cannot be stirred in the calcining process, and a stirring roller arranged in the calciner is provided to solve the problems.
