Abstract
The invention relates to a battery box body, a battery pack and an electric vehicle, wherein the battery box body comprises a tray for placing a battery module, the tray comprises a tray bottom and four side walls which are arranged at the bottom of the tray in a surrounding mode to form a battery module placing area, at least one side wall is of a structure with a cavity, at least one explosion-proof vent valve is installed on the inner side surface of the structure, and at least one first through hole communicated with the cavity is formed in the bottom of the tray. Compared with the prior art, the invention has the advantages of high safety and the like.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of power batteries, in particular to a battery box body, a battery pack and an electric vehicle.
Background
With the current social energy crisis becoming more serious, new energy automobiles are getting more and more social attention, especially electric automobiles. The battery module is used as a main energy storage element on the electric automobile and is a key component of the electric automobile.
Fig. 1 and 2 show a currently conventional battery pack structure in which a battery module 2 is disposed inside a tray 1, and typically 1 or more explosion-proof vent valves 3 are disposed outside side walls 111 and 112 of the tray 1. However, the above structure has the following defects: when thermal runaway occurs, a large amount of high-temperature harmful gas is generated in the battery pack suddenly, when the pressure reaches the opening pressure of the explosion-proof ventilation valve, the valve is opened, and the gas is discharged from the valve; because the explosion-proof ventilation valve is arranged on the outer side, gas can be sprayed out from the side face of the battery pack, and is sprayed to a person with probability to cause injury, so that potential safety hazards exist.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to overcome the defects of the prior art and provide a battery box body, a battery pack and an electric vehicle with high safety.
The purpose of the invention can be realized by the following technical scheme:
in a first aspect, the invention provides a battery box, which comprises a tray for placing a battery module, wherein the tray comprises a tray bottom and four side walls, the four side walls form a battery module placing area, the tray bottom is surrounded by the four side walls, at least one side wall is of a structure with a cavity, at least one explosion-proof vent valve is installed on the inner side surface of the structure, and at least one first through hole communicated with the cavity is formed in the tray bottom.
Further, the structure with a cavity consists of at least six faces.
Furthermore, a second through hole is formed in the outer side face opposite to the inner side face, and the position of the second through hole corresponds to the installation position of the explosion-proof ventilation valve.
Further, the size of the second through hole is larger than that of the explosion-proof air vent valve.
Furthermore, a movable baffle is correspondingly arranged at the second through hole.
Further, one set of the opposite side walls is the structure with the cavity.
Furthermore, two explosion-proof vent valves are installed on each inner side face of the group of side walls.
Furthermore, the number of the first through holes is four, and the first through holes correspond to the explosion-proof vent valves.

In a third aspect, the present invention provides an electric vehicle provided with the battery pack as described above.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following beneficial effects:
1. the side wall of the tray of the battery box body is provided with a structure with a cavity, the explosion-proof vent valve is arranged on the inner side surface of the structure, and the position of the bottom of the tray, which is communicated with the cavity, is provided with the first through hole.
2. According to the invention, the outer side surface opposite to the inner side surface is provided with the second through hole, and the position of the second through hole corresponds to the mounting position of the explosion-proof vent valve, so that the explosion-proof vent valve is convenient to mount and dismount, and the portability is improved.
3. The size of the second through hole is larger than that of the explosion-proof breather valve, so that the installation convenience is further improved.

Example 1
Referring to fig. 3 to 6, the present embodiment provides a battery box, including a tray 1 for placing a battery module 2, where the tray 1 includes a tray bottom 115 and four side walls enclosing the tray bottom 115 to form an area for placing the battery module 2, at least one of the side walls is a structure with a cavity 117, at least one explosion-proof vent valve 3 is installed on an inner side 119 of the structure, and the tray bottom 115 is provided with at least one first through hole 116 communicating with the cavity 117. The number and the positions of the first through holes 116 can be matched with those of the anti-explosion vent valves 3, and the first through holes can be arranged at any suitable positions.
In an alternative embodiment, the structure with the cavity 117 is comprised of at least six faces, the most basic of which includes an inner face 119, an outer face 118, a bottom face, an upper face 120, and two end faces 114, wherein the bottom face is integrally disposed with the tray bottom 115.
In an alternative embodiment, a second through hole is opened on the outer side 118 opposite to the inner side 119, and the position of the second through hole corresponds to the installation position of the explosion-proof ventilation valve 3. Preferably, the size of the second through hole is larger than that of the explosion-proof vent valve 3, so that the installation of the explosion-proof vent valve 3 is facilitated.
In an alternative embodiment, a movable baffle 4 is correspondingly provided at the second through hole, and is installed as shown in fig. 7.
In the use process of the battery box body, when a large amount of gas is generated due to thermal runaway of the battery cell, the pressure of the inner cavity of the battery box body is increased to the opening pressure of the explosion-proof ventilation valve, and the gas is discharged from the first through hole 116 at the bottom of the battery box body through the valve to the cavity 117.
In a preferred embodiment, one set of opposite side walls is of a structure with a cavity 117, and two explosion-proof vent valves 3 are mounted on each inner side 119 of the set of side walls. Four first through holes 116 are symmetrically arranged and correspond to the explosion-proof ventilation valve 3.
Example 2
The present embodiment provides a battery pack including a battery case as in embodiment 1, and a battery module disposed in a tray 1, as shown with reference to fig. 3.
Example 3
The present embodiment provides an electric vehicle provided with a battery pack as in embodiment 2.
