Abstract

The invention provides a hydrophobic additive, a hydrophobic composite material, a preparation method and an application thereof, wherein the hydrophobic additive comprises 70-98 parts of an additive body and 2-30 parts of a hydrophobic additive, the additive body is polypropylene and/or polyethylene, and the hydrophobic additive is one or more of calcium stearate, zinc stearate, erucamide, oleamide and stearamide; the hydrophobic composite material consists of 85-98 parts of a composite material body, 1-15 parts of a functional additive and 1-15 parts of a hydrophobic additive, wherein the composite material body is polypropylene, and the functional additive is one or more of calcium carbonate, talcum powder and barium sulfate. The contact angle of the hydrophobic composite material prepared by the hydrophobic additive is more than or equal to 120 degrees, and the volume error of the plastic product which is prepared by injection molding of the hydrophobic composite material and used for volume functions such as measurement, absorption, transfer and the like is greatly reduced.

Polypropylene (PP) is thermoplastic synthetic resin with excellent performance, is colorless semitransparent thermoplastic light general-purpose plastic, has the characteristics of excellent chemical resistance, heat resistance, electric insulation, high strength, high wear resistance, excellent processability and the like, simultaneously has the excellent characteristics of light weight, low cost, simple and convenient processing and the like, and is rapidly and widely applied to various fields of machinery, automobiles, electronic and electric appliances, buildings, textiles, medicines, packaging, agriculture, forestry, fishery, food industry and the like.
In recent years, polypropylene resin materials are gradually replacing wooden materials and metal materials and are widely used in many fields.
However, polypropylene resin materials have poor impact resistance at low temperatures, large heat distortion at high temperatures, poor surface decoration, and have a large gap between their properties in terms of hydrophobicity and hydrophilicity and the demands of practical applications. Therefore, how to modify polypropylene materials to meet the practical application requirements of polypropylene in special environments is a key technical problem to be solved in the research of polypropylene resin materials.

Preparing gun heads with different specifications by using the hydrophobic composite materials prepared in the examples 1-3 and the comparative example 1 respectively, selecting commercially available gun heads, weighing the gun heads respectively, sucking a quantitative toluidine blue saturated solution by using a liquid transfer gun, extruding the toluidine blue saturated solution, taking down the gun heads, weighing the sucked gun heads, calculating and measuring errors, performing five parallel tests on the measurement processes after the gun heads are prepared by using the different hydrophobic composite materials, and averaging the results as shown in the following table 1.

The results in table 1 are analyzed, and it can be seen that the contact angle of the hydrophobic composite material prepared from the hydrophobic additive provided in the embodiment of the present invention is not less than 120 °, and the volume error of the plastic product for volume functions such as measurement, absorption, transfer, etc. prepared by injection molding using the hydrophobic composite material is greatly reduced, and the volume error is significantly lower than that of the conventional gun head in the market.
