In the application updating apparatus provided in the embodiment of the present application, after downloading the version update data from the first server, that is, the first application developer server, the first application program sends the first update prompting information for prompting that the version of the first application program is updated to the second server, the second server sends the second update prompting information for downloading the version update data of the first application program to the second electronic device according to the first update prompting information, the second electronic device may download the version update data of the first application program to the local in advance, and when performing the version update on the first application program, the version update data may be directly loaded from the local.
The application updating device in the embodiment of the present application may be a device, or may be a component, an integrated circuit, or a chip in a terminal. The first electronic device may be a mobile electronic device or a non-mobile electronic device. The application program updating device in the embodiment of the present application may be a device having an operating system. The operating system may be an Android operating system (Android), an iOS operating system, or other possible operating systems, which is not specifically limited in the embodiments of the present application.
The application updating apparatus provided in this embodiment of the present application can implement each process implemented in the method embodiment of fig. 1, and is not described here again to avoid repetition.
Fig. 5 is a block diagram of an application updating apparatus for implementing an embodiment of the present application.
The application updating apparatus 500 of the embodiment of the application is applied to the second electronic device, wherein the application updating apparatus 500 includes:
a second receiving module 501, configured to receive second update prompt information sent by a second server, where the second update prompt information includes: the first application program identification, the second version download link to be updated and the second version information to be updated;
a second downloading module 502, configured to, in a case that the update data corresponding to the second version information is not downloaded locally, download the version update data from the first server according to the second update prompting information in a state of being connected to the wireless local area network;
the loading module 503 is configured to switch the remote resource downloading to local resource loading when the first application update instruction is detected, and load the version update data of the first application from the local.
Optionally, the apparatus further comprises:
a third receiving module, configured to receive a configuration acquisition request sent by a second server before receiving a second update notification message sent by the second server;
a third sending module, configured to send configuration information to a second server in response to the configuration obtaining request, where the configuration information includes: identification information and version information of each installed application.
Optionally, the apparatus further comprises:
the monitoring module is used for monitoring the local storage duration of the version updating data after the second downloading module downloads the version updating data from the first server according to the second updating prompt information in a wireless local area network connection state;
and the deleting module is used for deleting the version updating data under the condition that the storage duration exceeds the preset duration and the version updating data is not loaded.
Optionally, the apparatus further comprises:
and the output module is used for outputting prompt information in the process of locally loading the version updating data by the loading module, wherein the prompt information is used for prompting a user that no flow consumption exists in the current application program updating process.
In the application updating apparatus provided in the embodiment of the application, after receiving the second update prompting information of the first application sent by the second server, the second electronic device, under the condition that the update data corresponding to the second version information is not downloaded locally, downloads the version update data from the first server according to the second update prompting information in the state of being connected to the wireless local area network, and switches the remote resource downloading to the local resource loading and loads the version update data of the first application from the local under the condition that the first application update instruction is detected. On one hand, the version updating data is downloaded in the state of connecting the wireless local area network, so that the flow consumed by downloading can be saved; on the other hand, when the version of the first application program is updated, the downloaded version updating data is directly loaded to update the version, the data downloading is not needed, the version updating efficiency can be improved, and the version updating progress of the first application program is not limited by network bandwidth.
The application updating device in the embodiment of the present application may be a device, or may be a component, an integrated circuit, or a chip in a terminal. Optionally, as shown in fig. 6, an electronic device 600 is further provided in this embodiment of the present application, and includes a processor 601, a memory 602, and a program or an instruction stored in the memory 602 and capable of being executed on the processor 601, where the program or the instruction is executed by the processor 601 to implement each process of the embodiment of the application program updating method corresponding to fig. 1 or fig. 2, and can achieve the same technical effect, and details are not repeated here to avoid repetition.
It should be noted that the electronic devices in the embodiments of the present application include the mobile electronic devices and the non-mobile electronic devices described above.
Fig. 7 is a schematic diagram of a hardware structure of an electronic device implementing an embodiment of the present application.
The electronic device 700 includes, but is not limited to: a radio frequency unit 701, a network module 702, an audio output unit 703, an input unit 704, a sensor 705, a display unit 706, a user input unit 707, an interface unit 708, a memory 709, and a processor 710.
Those skilled in the art will appreciate that the electronic device 700 may also include a power supply (e.g., a battery) for powering the various components, and the power supply may be logically coupled to the processor 710 via a power management system, such that the functions of managing charging, discharging, and power consumption may be performed via the power management system. The electronic device structure shown in fig. 7 does not constitute a limitation of the electronic device, and the electronic device may include more or less components than those shown, or combine some components, or arrange different components, and thus, the description is omitted here.
When the electronic device 700 is used as a first electronic device, the network module 702 is configured to send a first update request to a first server when detecting that a version of a first application is updated, where the first update request carries a first application identifier and first version information of the installed first application; receiving version update information of the first application program returned by the first server, wherein the version update information comprises: the second version download link to be updated and the second version information to be updated;
a processor 710, configured to download version update data from the first server according to the version update information, and perform version update on the first application;
the network module 702 is configured to send first update prompting information to a second server, so that the second server sends, to a second electronic device, second update prompting information for downloading update data of the first application program according to the first update prompting information, where the first update prompting information includes the version update information.
Optionally, when the first update prompting message is sent to the second server, the processor 710 is further configured to detect a data amount of the version update data; and when the data volume is larger than the preset data volume, calling the network module 702 to send the first update prompt message to the second server.
When the electronic device 700 is used as a second electronic device, the network module 702 is configured to receive second update prompting information sent by a second server, where the second update prompting information includes: the first application program identification, the second version download link to be updated and the second version information to be updated; downloading the version updating data from the first server according to the second updating prompt information under the state of connecting the wireless local area network under the condition that the updating data corresponding to the second version information is not downloaded locally;
a processor 710, configured to switch a remote resource download to a local resource load and load the version update data of the first application from the local resource, when the first application update instruction is detected.
Optionally, the processor 710 is further configured to receive a configuration obtaining request sent by the second server before the receiving of the second update prompting message of the first application sent by the second server;
the network module 702 is further configured to send configuration information to the second server in response to the configuration obtaining request, where the configuration information includes: identification information and version information of each installed application.
Optionally, the processor 710 is further configured to monitor a local storage duration of the version update data after the network module 702 downloads the version update data from the first server according to the second update prompting message in the wireless lan connected state; and deleting the version updating data under the condition that the storage duration exceeds a preset duration and the version updating data is not loaded.
Optionally, the display unit 706 is configured to output a prompt message during the process of loading the version update data from the local by the processor 710, where the prompt message is used to prompt the user that no flow is consumed for the current application update.
In the electronic device provided by the embodiment of the application, after downloading the version update data from the first server, that is, the first application developer server, the first application program sends the first update prompt information for prompting that the version update exists in the first application program to the second server, the second server sends the second update prompt information for downloading the version update data of the first application program to the second electronic device according to the first update prompt information, the second electronic device can download the version update data of the first application program to the local in advance, and when performing the version update on the first application program, the version update data is directly loaded from the local.
It should be understood that in the embodiment of the present application, the input Unit 704 may include a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) 7041 and a microphone 7042, and the Graphics Processing Unit 7041 processes image data of still pictures or videos obtained by an image capturing device (e.g., a camera) in a video capturing mode or an image capturing mode. The display unit 706 may include a display panel 7061, and the display panel 7061 may be configured in the form of a liquid crystal display, an organic light emitting diode, or the like. The user input unit 707 includes a touch panel 7071 and other input devices 7072. A touch panel 4071, also referred to as a touch screen. The touch panel 7071 may include two parts of a touch detection device and a touch controller. Other input devices 7072 may include, but are not limited to, a physical keyboard, function keys (e.g., volume control keys, switch keys, etc.), a trackball, a mouse, and a joystick, which are not described in detail herein. Memory 709 may be used to store software programs as well as various data, including but not limited to applications and operating systems. Processor 710 may integrate an application processor, which primarily handles operating systems, user interfaces, applications, etc., and a modem processor, which primarily handles wireless communications. It will be appreciated that the modem processor described above may not be integrated into processor 710.
The embodiment of the present application further provides a readable storage medium, where a program or an instruction is stored on the readable storage medium, and when the program or the instruction is executed by a processor, the program or the instruction implements each process of any one of the above embodiments of the application program updating method, and can achieve the same technical effect, and in order to avoid repetition, details are not repeated here.
The processor is the processor in the electronic device described in the above embodiment. The readable storage medium includes a computer readable storage medium, such as a Read-Only Memory (ROM), a Random Access Memory (RAM), a magnetic disk or an optical disk, and so on.
The embodiment of the present application further provides a chip, where the chip includes a processor and a communication interface, the communication interface is coupled to the processor, and the processor is configured to run a program or an instruction, so as to implement each process of any one of the above embodiments of the application program updating method, and achieve the same technical effect, and in order to avoid repetition, the details are not repeated here.
It should be understood that the chips mentioned in the embodiments of the present application may also be referred to as system-on-chip, system-on-chip or system-on-chip, etc.
It should be noted that, in this document, the terms "comprises," "comprising," or any other variation thereof, are intended to cover a non-exclusive inclusion, such that a process, method, article, or apparatus that comprises a list of elements does not include only those elements but may include other elements not expressly listed or inherent to such process, method, article, or apparatus. Based on such understanding, the technical solutions of the present application may be embodied in the form of a software product, which is stored in a storage medium (such as ROM/RAM, magnetic disk, optical disk) and includes instructions for enabling a terminal (such as a mobile phone, a computer, a server, an air conditioner, or a network device) to execute the method according to the embodiments of the present application.

Claims (10)

1. An application update method, the method comprising:
under the condition that the version update of a first application program of first electronic equipment is detected, sending a first update request to a first server, wherein the first update request carries a first application program identifier and first version information of the installed first application program;
receiving version update information of the first application program returned by the first server, wherein the version update information comprises: the second version download link to be updated and the second version information to be updated;
downloading version updating data from the first server according to the version updating information, and updating the version of the first application program;
and sending first update prompt information to a second server so that the second server sends second update prompt information for downloading update data of the first application program to second electronic equipment according to the first update prompt information, wherein the first update prompt information comprises the version update information.
2. The method of claim 1, wherein sending the first update prompt to the second server comprises:
detecting a data amount of the version update data;
and sending the first updating prompt message to a second server under the condition that the data volume is larger than the preset data volume.
3. An application program updating method applied to a second electronic device, the method comprising:
receiving second update prompt information sent by a second server, wherein the second update prompt information comprises: the first application program identification, the second version download link to be updated and the second version information to be updated;
downloading the version updating data from the first server according to the second updating prompt information under the state of connecting the wireless local area network under the condition that the updating data corresponding to the second version information is not downloaded locally;
and under the condition that a first application program updating instruction is detected, switching remote resource downloading into local resource loading, and locally loading the version updating data of the first application program.
4. The method of claim 3, wherein before the step of receiving the second update prompt sent by the second server, the method further comprises:
receiving a configuration acquisition request sent by the second server;
sending configuration information to a second server in response to the configuration acquisition request, wherein the configuration information comprises: identification information and version information of each installed application.
5. The method of claim 3, wherein after the step of downloading the version update data from the first server according to the second update prompting message in the wireless local area network connected state, the method further comprises:
monitoring the local storage time of the version updating data;
and deleting the version updating data under the condition that the storage duration exceeds a preset duration and the version updating data is not loaded.
6. An application update apparatus, comprising:
the first sending module is used for sending a first update request to a first server under the condition that the version of a first application program of first electronic equipment is detected to be updated, wherein the first update request carries a first application program identifier and first version information of the installed first application program;
a first receiving module, configured to receive version update information of the first application returned by the first server, where the version update information includes: the second version download link to be updated and the second version information to be updated;
the first downloading module is used for downloading version updating data from the first server according to the version updating information and updating the version of the first application program;
the second sending module is configured to send first update prompting information to a second server, so that the second server sends second update prompting information for downloading update data of the first application program to a second electronic device according to the first update prompting information, where the first update prompting information includes the version update information.
7. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein the second sending module comprises:
the first submodule is used for detecting the data volume of the version updating data;
and the second submodule is used for sending the first updating prompt message to a second server under the condition that the data volume is larger than the preset data volume.
8. An application program updating apparatus applied to a second electronic device, the apparatus comprising:
a second receiving module, configured to receive second update prompt information sent by a second server, where the second update prompt information includes: the first application program identification, the second version download link to be updated and the second version information to be updated;
the second downloading module is used for downloading the version updating data from the first server according to the second updating prompt information under the state of connecting the wireless local area network under the condition that the updating data corresponding to the second version information is not downloaded locally;
and the loading module is used for switching the remote resource downloading into local resource loading under the condition that a first application program updating instruction is detected, and locally loading the version updating data of the first application program.
9. The apparatus of claim 8, further comprising:
a third receiving module, configured to receive a configuration acquisition request sent by a second server before receiving a second update notification message sent by the second server;
a third sending module, configured to send configuration information to a second server in response to the configuration obtaining request, where the configuration information includes: identification information and version information of each installed application.
10. The apparatus of claim 8, further comprising:
the monitoring module is used for monitoring the local storage duration of the version updating data after the second downloading module downloads the version updating data from the first server according to the second updating prompt information in a wireless local area network connection state;
and the deleting module is used for deleting the version updating data under the condition that the storage duration exceeds the preset duration and the version updating data is not loaded.
