The embodiment of the disclosure provides a reader and a display system. The reader includes a display device and a lens portion. The display device is configured to display an image. The lens section is located on a display side of the display device and is configured to form an enlarged virtual image of an image displayed by the display device. The reader can form a long-distance amplified virtual image, so that the reading distance is increased, and myopia is prevented.
Embodiments of the present disclosure are described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. It should be noted that the same reference numerals are used in different drawings to designate the same structural elements as those described.
Fig. 1 is a schematic perspective structure diagram of a reader according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, fig. 2 is a schematic plan structure diagram of the reader shown in fig. 1, and fig. 3 is a schematic internal structure diagram of the reader shown in fig. 1.
An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a reader, as shown in fig. 1, 2 and 3, including a base 6, a support 16 and an image capture device 18. A stand 16 is placed or fixed on the table top 19 and the base 6 is attached to the stand 16, the stand 16 serving to support the base 6. The image acquisition device 18 is located above the tabletop 19. The base 6 comprises a display device 5, a lens portion 1 and a reading window 15. The display device 5 is configured to display an image. The lens section 1 is located on the display side of the display device 5, and is configured to form an enlarged virtual image of an image displayed by the display device 5. The reading window 15 is positioned on one side of the lens part 1 far away from the display device 5, and the magnified virtual image formed by the lens part 1 is presented to a reader through the reading window 15. The image pickup device 18 is connected to the display device 5, and is configured to pick up an image of the reading material to obtain image data, and to transmit the obtained image data to the display device 5. It should be noted that, the connection between the image capturing device 18 and the display device 5 means that the data of the image capturing device 18 can be transmitted to the display device 5, and for example, the connection can be realized through a data line connection or a wireless network connection.
When a reader provided by the embodiment is used for reading, a reading material is placed on the desktop and is located in the acquisition range of the image acquisition device, the image acquisition device transmits the obtained image data of the reading material to the display device, and the display device displays the image. An image displayed by the display device passes through the lens part to form an enlarged virtual image, and a reader sees the enlarged virtual image through the reading window. Therefore, the reader realizes an effect of increasing a reading distance to prevent myopia by converting an image displayed by the display device into an enlarged virtual image which is further away.
It should be noted that the reader or the display system provided in this embodiment and the following embodiments is used to increase the distance between the display device and the reader, so as to prevent myopia, and therefore the reader or the display system may also be referred to as a distant image reader or a distant image display system.
In some examples, as shown in fig. 3, the base 6 further includes a lens portion mounting interface 3 and a display device mounting interface 4. The lens unit 1 is mounted on the base through a lens unit mounting interface 3, and the display device is mounted on the base through a display device mounting interface 4.
In some examples, the display surface of the display device 5 is a plane, the lens portion 1 is a convex lens 1, and the focal length of the lens portion 1 is 30cm or less. The central axis of the convex lens 1 is perpendicular to the display surface of the display device 5, and the distance between the display device 5 and the center of the convex lens 1 is smaller than the focal length of the convex lens 1. In this way, as can be seen from the imaging principle of the convex lens, an image displayed by the display device may form an enlarged virtual image through the convex lens, and a distance between the enlarged virtual image and the center of the convex lens is greater than a distance between the display surface of the display device and the center of the convex lens, thereby increasing a reading distance. It should be noted that the reading distance refers to a distance between a read image and the eyes of a reader, and specifically refers to a distance between an enlarged virtual image and the eyes of the reader.
In some examples, the distance (image distance) between the magnified virtual image formed by the convex lens and the center of the convex lens is greater than 2.5 meters, so the reading distance is also greater than 2.5 meters. Tests show that when the reading distance is more than 2.5 meters, the eyes are not burdened and the myopia is deepened when the user reads the glasses for a long time. The image distance is related to the object distance (the distance between the display surface of the display device and the center of the convex lens) and the focal length of the convex lens, and the image distance greater than 2.5 m can be formed by combining various parameters of the object distance and the focal length, which is not particularly limited in this disclosure.
In some examples, the shape of the convex lens is rectangular as viewed in the direction of the central axis of the convex lens, i.e., the shape of the orthographic projection of the convex lens 1 on the plane of the display surface of the display device 5 is rectangular. The rectangular convex lens is beneficial to reducing the space of the base and is matched with the reading visual angle of human eyes.
In some examples, the rectangle has a long dimension equal to or greater than 210mm and a short dimension equal to or greater than 148.5 mm. Tests on different books show that the size of the long side is larger than or equal to 210mm, or the size of the short side is larger than or equal to 148.5mm, so that the book is beneficial to reading and is not easy to generate eyestrain.
The shape of the convex lens is not limited to a rectangle, and may be other shapes such as a circle, an ellipse, or a polygon.
In some examples, the lens section 1 is a lens group having a convex lens function composed of a plurality of lenses. For example, as shown in fig. 7, the lens group is composed of a first lens 12 and a second lens 13, and both the first lens 12 and the second lens 13 are convex lenses; alternatively, the first lens 12 and the second lens 13 are a convex lens and a concave lens, respectively, but the lens group formed by combining has a convex lens function. Of course, the lens group may be composed of three or more lenses as long as the composed lens group has a convex lens function and can satisfy other design requirements.
In some examples, when the lens portion is a single convex lens, the convex lens is an aspherical convex lens having a surface for correcting distortion; when the lens portion is a lens group having a convex lens function composed of a plurality of lenses, at least one of the plurality of lenses is an aspherical convex lens having a distortion-correcting curved surface. The aspheric convex lens can reduce or correct image distortion generated by the edge of the lens and improve visual effect. The surface of the spherical convex lens is a part of a complete sphere, and when imaging, an image observed by people through the spherical convex lens has distortion at the position of the lens close to the edge. The surface curved surface of the aspheric convex lens with the distortion correcting curved surface provided by the embodiment of the disclosure is a continuous space curved surface obtained through modeling calculation, has a curvature which continuously changes from the center to the edge, and reduces or eliminates image distortion existing at the edge of the lens by changing the curvatures of different parts of the convex lens.
In some examples, as shown in fig. 3, the reader also includes a near vision lens 2. The myopia lens 2 is disposed in the base 6 and on a side of the lens portion 1 remote from the display device 5. The myopic lens 2 is an optical lens containing myopic power and astigmatic power which can be adjusted. For example, the myopia lens 2 is connected with the base 6 in a plugging manner, and a plurality of lenses can be replaced or overlapped according to actual needs. Therefore, the purpose of adjusting the myopia degree and the astigmatism degree can be realized. For example, if the reader is 300 degrees near, the user can directly replace the 300 degrees near-sighted lens or use a combination of 200 degrees and 100 degrees near-sighted lenses. Of course, the myopia lens 2 can be formed by combining lenses with other powers, and the disclosure does not limit the specific combination mode of the myopia lens.
In some examples, the shape of the myopic lens 2 is the same as the shape and size of the lens portion 1. For example, the lens unit 1 is rectangular when viewed in the direction of the center axis of the near vision lens 2, and the near vision lens 2 is also rectangular, that is, the shape of the orthographic projection of the near vision lens 2 on the plane of the display surface of the display device 5 is rectangular. The long side of the rectangle is larger than or equal to 210mm, and the short side is larger than or equal to 148.5 mm. Similarly, the shape of the myopic lens 2 is not limited to a rectangle, and may be other shapes such as a circle, an ellipse, or a polygon.
In some examples, the myopic lens 2 comprises an aspheric convex lens with a curved surface to correct for aberrations. When the near vision lens 2 is a single lens, the near vision lens 2 is an aspheric convex lens with a distortion correcting curved surface; when the myopic lens 2 is composed of a plurality of lenses, at least one of the plurality of lenses is an aspherical convex lens having a curved surface for correcting distortion. The aspheric convex lens can reduce or correct image distortion generated by the edge of the lens and improve visual effect.
For example, the reading window is a transparent glass or plastic panel.
For example, the support 16 may be placed on or secured to other support surfaces, and may be made of any material that meets certain structural strength, such as metal, plastic, ceramic, wood, or composite materials.
For example, the reading material is a book, and as shown in fig. 1, fig. 2 and fig. 3, the image capturing device 18 is a first camera 18, the first camera faces the desktop below, and the book is placed right below the first camera 18. Compared with direct book reading, the book reading reader provided by the embodiment can achieve the purpose of increasing the reading distance to prevent myopia.
For example, the image capturing device 18 is supported by a support rod, the support rod is a hollow structure, and the data line and the power line of the first camera can be connected to the display device and the power supply through the hollow structure.
In some examples, as shown in fig. 2, the base includes a motion arm 17. Fig. 4 is a schematic structural diagram of the moving arm. As shown in fig. 4, the moving arm 17 includes a position adjusting device 20 configured to adjust the relative position of the base 6 and the bracket 16. For example, the position adjusting means 20 is a slider 20. Fig. 5 is a structural schematic diagram of the stent. As shown in fig. 5, the bracket 16 includes a slide groove 21. As shown in fig. 1, 2 and 3, the base 6 and the bracket 16 are connected to the slide groove 21 by the slider 20. The slide 20 is slidable in the slide groove 21, so that the position adjusting device 20 functions to adjust the relative position of the base 6 and the bracket 16. The position adjusting device 20 may be a slide groove. For example, the sliding groove is positioned on the moving arm, and the sliding block is positioned on the bracket, so that the position adjusting function can be realized.
For example, the position adjusting device is a manual position adjusting device, and the base slides relative to the bracket by manually pushing the base, so that the position adjusting function is realized.
In some examples, the position adjustment device may also be an automatic position adjustment device. For example, a servo motor is used to drive a ball screw mechanism or a rack and pinion mechanism to move the base and the bracket relatively, so that the function of automatic position adjustment can be realized. The present disclosure does not limit the specific structure of the position adjustment device. The position adjusting device can enlarge the scene adaptation range of the reader and is beneficial to improving the reading comfort level.
In some examples, as shown in fig. 4, the moving arms 17 are in a strip structure, the number of the moving arms 17 is two, and the two moving arms 17 are respectively located at two sides of the base. The moving arm 17 further comprises an opening 23, the opening 23 being configured to connect to an angular adjustment device of the base, as will be further described below.
In some examples, as shown in FIG. 5, the brace 16 may also include a skirt 22 for a snug attachment to the table top, which may enhance the stability of the attachment.
In some examples, as shown in fig. 3, the base 6 further includes an angle adjustment device 30 configured to adjust the tilt angle of the base 6 relative to the tabletop 19. For example, as shown in fig. 1, 2 and 3, the angle adjusting device 30 is an automatic angle adjusting device including a motor 10 and a transmission mechanism. The motor 10 and the transmission mechanism are located on the moving arm 17. The motor 10 may be a servo motor or a stepping motor. The transmission mechanism comprises a driven gear 7 fixed on the base 6, a first transmission gear 8 meshed with the driven gear 7 and a second transmission gear 9 meshed with the first transmission gear 8. The driven gear 7 is fixed to the base 6 through the opening 23. The motor 10 drives the second transmission gear 9 to rotate, the second transmission gear 9 drives the first transmission gear 8 to rotate, and the first transmission gear drives the driven gear 7 to rotate, so that the base 6 rotates around the central axis of the driven gear 7, and the function of automatic angle adjustment is realized. It should be noted that, in the present embodiment, the transmission mechanism includes the first transmission gear and the second transmission gear, but the transmission mechanism is not limited thereto, and may include only one transmission gear or more transmission gears as long as it can realize transmission of the power and motion of the motor to the driven gear fixedly connected to the base. In addition, the transmission mechanism is not limited to gear transmission, and may be a belt wheel transmission mechanism, a chain wheel transmission mechanism, or the like, which is not limited in the present disclosure.
For another example, the angle adjusting device is a manual angle adjusting device, the base 6 can rotate around the central axis of the opening 23 of the moving arm 17 in fig. 4, and the reader can move the base by hand to rotate the base to a proper reading angle and fix the base at the reading angle.
The angle adjusting device can further expand the scene adaptation range of the reader and improve the reading comfort level. For example, when writing while reading, the top view is more advantageous for the reader to read and write. And for readers with different heights, the angle adjusting device can be adjusted to a proper reading angle. After reading for a certain time, a reader can feel tired in a certain posture, the posture can be changed, the angle of the base can be correspondingly adjusted, and accordingly reading is continued, and therefore the angle adjusting device has the effects of improving the reading comfort level and relieving fatigue. The automatic angle adjusting device is labor-saving in adjustment, but is relatively high in cost; the manual angle adjusting device is simple to operate and relatively low in cost.
In some examples, the lens portion 1 includes a blue light filtering device. The blue filter is, for example, a blue filter. The blue light filter film is plated on one or more surfaces of the lens part, so that the damage of the blue light to eyes can be reduced.
Fig. 6 is a schematic structural diagram of a base according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. In some examples, as shown in fig. 6, the reader further includes a distance adjustment device 24. The distance adjusting device 24 is configured to adjust the distance between the lens section 1 and the display device 5. For example, the distance adjusting device 24 includes a slide rail 25, and the lens part 1 is located on the slide rail 25 and can slide along the slide rail 25. In this way, the purpose of adjusting the distance between the lens unit 1 and the display device 5 can be achieved. The distance between the lens part and the display device can be adjusted to change the object distance, thereby changing the image distance and achieving the purpose of adjusting the reading distance. The reading distance is adjusted to relieve the continuous tension of eye muscles, and the scene adaptation range of the reader is further expanded.
For example, the distance adjustment device 24 may be an automatic distance adjustment device. For example, similar to the automatic position adjusting device described above, the automatic distance adjusting device may also include a servo motor and a ball screw mechanism or a rack and pinion mechanism. The servo motor drives the ball screw mechanism or the gear rack mechanism to enable the lens part and the display device to move relatively, and therefore the function of automatic distance adjustment is achieved. The present disclosure does not limit the specific structure of the distance adjustment device.
Fig. 7 is a schematic structural diagram of another base according to an embodiment of the disclosure. In some examples, the lens portion 1 is a lens group composed of a plurality of lenses, and the distance adjusting device 24 may further adjust a distance between the plurality of lenses in the lens group. For example, as shown in fig. 7, the first lens 12 and the second lens 13 are both located on a slide rail and can respectively slide along the slide rail, and the distance adjusting device can adjust the distance between the first lens 12 and the second lens 13. Thus, the adjustment range of the reading distance can be further increased.
In some examples, the lens portion is a zoom lens, and as such, the focal length of the lens portion itself may be adjusted. The zoom lens is, for example, a liquid crystal zoom lens. The principle is that the lens is filled with a liquid crystal layer, and the refractive index of the liquid crystal layer is changed by changing the voltage applied to two sides of the liquid crystal layer, so that the focal length of the lens is controlled. The zoom lens can further improve the scene adaptation range of the reader.
In some examples, the reader further includes a controller 26 and a second camera 11, as shown in fig. 3 and 1, respectively. The second camera 11 is connected to the controller 26 and is configured to capture the sitting posture of the reader and transmit the sitting posture information to the controller. For example, the second camera is located reading window top, and the optical central axis of second camera is perpendicular with reading window place plane, is convenient for shoot reader's position of sitting photo, and the controller can judge whether the position of sitting is correct according to reader's position of sitting photo. If the sitting posture is incorrect, the controller can remind the reader to correct the sitting posture. For example, a reminder is made by displaying characters in a display device. The sitting posture correction is beneficial to protecting the eyesight and reducing the cervical vertebra and lumbar vertebra diseases.
Fig. 8 is a schematic diagram of a controller according to an embodiment of the disclosure. In some examples, as shown in fig. 8, the controller 26 further includes a timer 27 configured to record the reading time and remind the reader to rest if the reading time exceeds a preset time. For example, the preset time is 1 hour, and if the timer finds that the reading time exceeds 1 hour, the reader is reminded to rest. For example, a reminder is made by displaying characters in a display device. Controlling the reading time is beneficial to relieving eyestrain.
In some examples, as shown in FIG. 1, the reader also includes a light sensing element 14 positioned above the reading window and connected to the controller 26. The light sensing element 14 is configured to sense the intensity of ambient light and to communicate information of the sensed intensity of ambient light to the controller. The controller is further configured to remind the reader that the light is too dark if the information on the intensity of the ambient light is lower than a first preset value; or under the condition that the information of the ambient light intensity is higher than the second preset value, the reader is reminded that the light is too strong. The first preset value is a light intensity value defining a dark environment, and a light intensity lower than the first preset value is considered as a dark environment. The second preset value is an illumination intensity value defining a high light environment, the illumination intensity being higher than the second preset value being considered a high light environment. The first preset value and the second preset value can be set according to actual needs, and the second preset value is larger than the first preset value. For example, the controller may alert the reader by displaying characters in the display device. The reading in dark environment or strong light environment is reduced, and the eyesight is protected.
In some examples, as shown in fig. 3, the reader further includes a speaker 31. The speaker 31 is connected to the controller 26 and is configured to play sound under the control of the controller. For example, when the controller reminds a reader to correct sitting posture, rest or light is too dark, the operation can be finished by controlling the loudspeaker box to play a prompt tone.

Thus, the reader can receive the content of the book in an audible mode when the eyes are tired or the reader has a rest.
In some examples, the controller may also control the automatic position adjustment device, the automatic angle adjustment device, and the automatic distance adjustment device described above.
An embodiment of the present disclosure further provides an automatic distance adjusting method. The method comprises the following steps:
s10, when the second camera shoots that the reader starts reading, the controller is informed to start a timer to start timing;
and S20, when the timing exceeds the set time length, the controller controls the automatic distance adjusting device to adjust the distance between the lens part and the display device so that the distance between the lens part and the display device is changed from the first distance to the second distance. In this way, the distance between the eyes of the reader and the viewed image, i.e., the reading distance, can be changed.
And S30, when the time exceeds the set time length again, the controller controls the automatic distance device adjusting device to adjust the distance between the lens part and the display device, so that the distance between the lens part and the display device is changed from the second distance to the first distance.
For example, the first distance and the second distance are both smaller than the focal length of the lens part, so that a reader can be ensured to watch an enlarged virtual image, and the actual parameters of the virtual image can be calculated according to actual needs. For example, the controller controls the automatic distance adjustment device to slowly adjust the distance between the lens part and the display device to prevent discomfort from being caused to the eyes of the reader.
For example, the above steps S20 and S30 may be performed in a loop to automatically adjust the distance between the lens part and the display device according to a set time period.
For example, in the above step, the distance between the lens part and the display device may further include a third distance or more to enable adjustment of the distance between the lens part and the display device within three or more distance ranges. Of course, the third distance or more is also smaller than the focal length of the lens portion.
For example, the set time period is 30 minutes. Of course, the time length can be set to other values according to actual needs. Alternatively, different distances between the lens portion and the display device may correspond to different time periods.
An embodiment of the present disclosure provides yet another reader including only a display device and a lens portion. The display device is configured to display an image. For example, the external device may be implemented as any product or component with a display function, such as a computer, a mobile phone, a television, a tablet computer, a display, a notebook computer, a digital photo frame, and a navigator.
For example, the external device connected to the display system is a host computer, and the display system is a computer remote image display system. The computer far image display system comprises a display device, a lens part, a reading window and a data receiving device. The two ends of the data receiving device are respectively connected with the display device of the computer remote image display system and the host computer, and are configured to transmit the data of the host computer to the display device for displaying. The image that display device shows passes through lens portion, and the reader sees remote enlarged virtual image through reading the window. Therefore, the reading distance is increased equivalently, and the far-focus display system of the computer plays a role in protecting eyesight and preventing myopia.
In some examples, the computer telepresence display system includes the aforementioned speakers 31 and controller 26, and controller 26 includes speech recognizer 28 and image recognizer 29. The data receiving device can also transmit the data of the computer to the sound box 31 and play the data in the form of sound. Thus, the computer remote image display system can realize more functions.
