To reduce the wall flow phenomenon, it is necessary to segment the packing layers and to provide liquid redistribution means between the packing layers when they are high. The liquid under the upper layer of filler is collected by the liquid redistribution device and then is redistributed above the next layer of filler, so that the filler layer keeps higher mass transfer efficiency.
There are various liquid redistributors used in industry, but the diameter of an industrial packed tower is large, the structure of the liquid redistributor is complicated, and the liquid redistributor cannot be used in a small-sized packed tower. The common redistributor in the small packed tower is a truncated cone redistributor which has simple structure and convenient installation, but only plays a role of collecting wall flow to the center, and the gas flow area is small; the inner gear type liquid redistributor increases the gas circulation area by opening a semicircular notch on the guide plate on the basis of the truncated cone type redistributor, but does not improve the liquid distribution capability. The redistributor structure has important influence on liquid distribution and gas circulation in the packed tower, and how to reduce gas resistance and improve liquid distribution is the difficulty of liquid redistributor structural design, so that the application provides the efficient petal type liquid redistributor suitable for the small-size gas-liquid mass transfer packed tower.
