5. The earphone assembly of claim 1 wherein a first magnet is disposed within the first earphone and a second magnet is disposed within the second earphone;

6. The earphone assembly of claim 5 wherein the first magnet is positioned between the first conductive terminal and the positive contact and the second magnet is positioned between the second conductive terminal and the negative contact.
7. The earphone assembly of claim 1 wherein the first earphone has a first earphone stem, the first jack terminal being located on the first earphone stem;
