Description

Air filtering system of excavator
Technical Field
The present invention relates to excavator engine intake air filtration, and more particularly to an excavator air filtration system.
Background
On an excavator, air entering an engine needs to be filtered first, and solid impurities in the air are removed and then enter the engine. The existing engine intake filtration usually adopts two-stage filtration of a dry prefilter and an air filter, and outside air with dust and impurities enters the dry prefilter through grids; the air passes through the fixed blades of the dry-type prefilter, changes the flow direction, forms a rotating vortex and is directly discharged out of the dry-type prefilter, partial solid impurities in the air are removed by the dry-type prefilter, the air discharged from the dry-type prefilter enters the air filter below the dry-type prefilter, is filtered by the air filter and then enters the engine through the air inlet rubber tube.
In the prior art, both a dry prefilter and an air cleaner of an excavator are installed in an engine compartment, and an engine, a water radiator, a muffler, a turbocharger, the dry prefilter, the air cleaner, and the like are installed in the engine compartment of the excavator. As shown in figure 1, the engine is arranged in the middle of an engine compartment, a water radiator is arranged on the right side of the engine, a turbocharger and a silencer are arranged on the rear portion of the engine, an air filter is arranged on the left side of the engine, a dry type prefilter is arranged above the air filter, an outlet of the dry type prefilter is connected with the air filter through a pipeline, and an outlet of the air filter is connected with an air inlet of the engine through an air inlet rubber pipe. Due to the limited space within the engine compartment, the spacing between the components is often limited. The following problems therefore generally exist for air pre-filtering systems:
1. high-temperature and high-pressure waste gas generated by the work of the engine is discharged through the turbocharger and the silencer, the temperature of an engine compartment is very high due to the fact that the air filter and the air inlet rubber pipe are close to the turbocharger and the silencer and are located at a lower air inlet of the cooling fan, the temperature of the air inlet rubber pipe is very high, high-temperature aging is easy to occur, and connection failure is caused.
2. The engine compartment space is limited, can't hold the air cleaner of large capacity, and the air cleaner of small capacity blocks up easily, makes the maintenance frequency of filter core very high, increases and maintains the human cost.
3. The dry air pre-filter has poor dust filtering capability and is not suitable for the mine working condition with high dust, so that the daily maintenance frequency of the air filter is increased.
