Background
In the production process of a steel plant, a steel ladle containing qualified molten steel is generally hoisted to a rotary table of a continuous casting machine, the rotary table is rotated to rotate the steel ladle to a pouring position, the qualified molten steel is injected into a tundish through a long water gap, a covering agent is added above the molten steel of the tundish, the molten steel can be isolated from air and can adsorb impurities in the molten steel, the molten steel below the covering agent of the tundish is distributed into a crystallizer and a fan-shaped section through a submerged water gap, the molten steel starts to solidify and crystallize, and a completely solidified casting blank is cut into a billet with a certain length. A large amount of impurities adsorbed by the covering agent in the tundish are discharged into the slag pan through the slag discharge port at intervals, a new covering agent is added into the tundish, the shell of the slag pan is formed by welding steel plates, the contact part of the inner part and the steel slag is coated by a high-temperature refractory material, and after the steel slag is full, another slag pan needs to be replaced to continue operation.
