For ease of understanding, the concepts related to the embodiments of the present application will be explained first.
A voltage output unit: the microcontroller is used for controlling the power supply function of the digital platform. The microchip has many components similar to a common computer, including firmware and software, memory, a CPU, input/output functions, a timer to measure time intervals, and an analog-to-digital converter for measuring the voltage of the main battery or power supply. The voltage output unit can be integrated in a single package by a plurality of types of power management devices which are separated conventionally, so that higher power conversion efficiency and lower power consumption can be realized, and the number of components is less to adapt to the reduced board-level space. For example, the voltage output unit may output voltages of 3V, 5V, and 10V, and may supply different voltages to different electronic devices.
An amplifier: an apparatus capable of amplifying the voltage or power of an input signal. For example, the amplifier may be a power amplifier. A power amplifier is an amplifier that can produce a maximum power output to drive a load (e.g., a speaker) given a distortion rate. For example, the power amplifier may be applied to sound, wireless transmission, and the like. For example, the rf power amplifier may convert a rf signal with smaller power into a rf signal with larger power, so as to implement signal transmission.
In the related art, the power management unit may complete the voltage switching in a short time to meet the voltage requirements of different electronic devices, and may rapidly stabilize the voltage after the voltage switching is completed. For example, the power management unit may switch a 3V voltage to a 5V voltage within 2 microseconds and stabilize the 5V voltage within 5 microseconds. However, when the power management unit outputs a voltage to the power amplifier, the voltage may fluctuate greatly, which may affect the gain of the power amplifier (sudden increase of the voltage may cause the gain of the power amplifier to exceed a limited value, so that the signal after the gain is unstable), resulting in poor performance of the power amplifier.
In order to solve the technical problem of poor performance of a power amplifier in the related art, an embodiment of the present application provides an amplifier circuit, which includes a detection and adjustment unit, a voltage output unit, and an amplifier, where the amplifier includes at least one power amplification unit, the voltage output unit is connected to the amplifier, and the detection and adjustment unit is connected to the voltage output unit and the power amplification unit. Because the detection and adjustment unit is connected with the voltage output unit, when the voltage output by the voltage output unit fluctuates greatly, the detection and adjustment unit can detect the change of the voltage and reversely adjust the gain of the power amplifier according to the change of the voltage, so that when the voltage output by the voltage output unit is suddenly increased or suddenly reduced, the gain of the power amplifier can still be kept stable, and the performance of the power amplifier is further improved.
Hereinafter, the technical means shown in the present application will be described in detail by specific examples. It should be noted that the following embodiments may be combined with each other, and the description of the same or similar contents in different embodiments is not repeated.
Fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of an amplifier circuit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to fig. 1, the amplifier 20 circuit includes a detection and adjustment unit 11, a voltage output unit 12 and an amplifier 20, the amplifier 20 includes at least one power amplification unit 21, the voltage output unit 12 is connected to the amplifier 20, and the detection and adjustment unit 11 is connected to the voltage output unit 12 and the power amplification unit 21, respectively.
The voltage output unit 12 is used to output a voltage to the amplifier 20 and the detection adjustment unit 11. Alternatively, the voltage output unit 12 may supply power to the amplifier 20 and the detection adjusting unit 11. For example, the voltage output unit 12 may supply power to each component in the amplifier 20 and the detection adjustment unit 11 when operating.
Alternatively, the voltage output Unit 12 may be a Power Management Unit (PMU), and the PMU may integrate a plurality of Power Management devices into a single package, so as to provide different voltages to different electronic devices. For example, the PMU may provide different voltages to the baseband chip, the rf chip, the power amplifier, and the switch in the rf transmit path of the mobile terminal.
Alternatively, the PMUs may provide the same voltage to different electronic devices. For example, a PMU may provide the same voltage to multiple amplification stages in a power amplifier.
The power amplifying unit 21 is for amplifying the voltage output by the voltage output unit 12 according to the gain of the amplifier 20. For example, when a signal is input to an amplifier, the power amplification unit may absorb most of the signal and amplify the signal according to the gain of the amplifier.
The detection adjusting unit 11 is used for detecting the voltage fluctuation of the voltage output unit 12 and inversely adjusting the gain of the amplifier 20 according to the voltage fluctuation. For example, when the voltage output by the voltage output unit fluctuates, the detection and adjustment unit can filter the direct-current voltage output by the voltage output unit, receive the alternating-current voltage output by the voltage output unit, and then adjust the gain of the amplifier reversely according to the alternating-current voltage, so that the influence of the voltage fluctuation on the performance of the amplifier can be avoided; when the voltage output by the voltage output unit does not fluctuate, the detection and adjustment unit can filter the direct-current voltage output by the voltage output unit, and at the moment, the detection and adjustment unit does not reversely adjust the gain of the amplifier.
The voltage output unit 12 of the embodiment of the present application can provide a stable voltage, but when the voltage output unit 12 performs voltage switching (for example, when the output voltage is switched from 3V to 5V), or in other special scenarios (for example, when the actual grid frequency fluctuates), the voltage output by the voltage output unit 12 fluctuates, and the amplifier 20 circuit needs to operate stably in both scenarios.
Next, the operation of the amplifier circuit will be described.
The voltage output unit 12 may supply power to components in the amplifier 20 and the detection adjustment unit 11 when the amplifier 20 circuit operates. For example, the voltage output unit may supply power to a plurality of power amplifying units in the amplifier, respectively, and may also supply power to the detection adjusting unit.
When the voltage output by the voltage output unit 12 is stable, the plurality of power amplifying units 21 in the amplifier 20 may amplify the voltage at the stable voltage by the gain of the amplifier 20 to implement the voltage amplifying function of the amplifier 20. Since the voltage output unit 12 outputs a stable voltage, the detection and adjustment unit 11 can completely filter the stable voltage output by the voltage output unit 12, and at this time, the detection and adjustment unit 11 does not receive an effective fluctuating voltage, so that the detection and adjustment unit 11 does not adjust the gain of the amplifier 20 inversely according to the voltage, and the amplifier 20 can effectively operate at the stable voltage. For example, when the voltage output unit continues to output a stable 5V voltage, if the gain of the amplifier is 3 times, the plurality of power amplification units in the amplifier can amplify the 5V voltage to 15V, and since the detection and adjustment unit filters the stable 5V voltage at this time, the detection and adjustment unit does not suppress the gain of the amplifier, and further does not affect the operation effect of the amplifier under the stable voltage.
When the voltage output from the voltage output unit 12 fluctuates (the voltage suddenly increases or the voltage suddenly decreases), the plurality of amplifying units in the amplifier 20 amplify the voltage according to the gain of the amplifier 20, resulting in that the output voltage of the amplifier 20 is not within the preset voltage range. For example, when the voltage suddenly increases, after the plurality of amplifying units in the amplifier amplify the voltage according to the gain of the amplifier, the output voltage of the amplifier is greater than the maximum operating voltage; after the voltage is suddenly reduced and the voltage is amplified by a plurality of amplifying units in the amplifier according to the gain of the amplifier, the output voltage of the amplifier is less than the minimum working voltage. At this time, the detection adjusting unit may receive the fluctuating voltage output by the voltage output unit and inversely adjust the gain of the amplifier according to the fluctuating voltage. For example, when the voltage output unit continuously outputs a stable 5V voltage, the voltage is suddenly changed to 10V, if the gain of the amplifier is 3 times, the plurality of power amplification units in the amplifier may amplify the 10V voltage to 30V, at this time, the detection and adjustment unit may receive the suddenly changed voltage to 10V, and then reversely adjust the gain of the amplifier to 1.5 times according to the 10V voltage, so that the output voltage of the amplifier is 15V. Therefore, when the voltage is suddenly increased, the gain of the amplifier can be reduced by the detection adjusting unit, so that the voltage output by the amplifier cannot be suddenly increased, and when the voltage is suddenly reduced, the gain of the amplifier can be improved by the detection adjusting unit, so that the voltage output by the amplifier cannot be suddenly reduced, the stability of the power amplifier is improved, and the performance of the power amplifier can be improved.
The embodiment of the application provides an amplifier 20 circuit, which comprises a detection adjusting unit 11, a voltage output unit 12 and an amplifier 20, wherein the amplifier 20 comprises at least one power amplifying unit 21, the voltage output unit 12 is connected with the amplifier 20, and the detection adjusting unit 11 is connected with the voltage output unit 12 and the power amplifying unit 21, wherein the voltage output unit 12 is used for outputting voltage to the amplifier 20 and the detection adjusting unit 11, the power amplifying unit 21 is used for amplifying the voltage output by the voltage output unit 12 according to the gain of the amplifier 20, and the detection adjusting unit 11 is used for detecting the voltage fluctuation of the voltage output unit 12 and reversely adjusting the gain of the amplifier 20 according to the voltage fluctuation. In this way, when the voltage output by the voltage output unit 12 fluctuates greatly, the detection and adjustment unit 11 can detect the voltage change and adjust the gain of the power amplifier 20 inversely according to the voltage change, and when the voltage output by the voltage output unit 12 suddenly increases or suddenly decreases, the gain of the power amplifier can still be kept stable, thereby improving the performance of the power amplifier.
In addition to any of the above embodiments, the structure of the detection and adjustment unit will be described in detail below with reference to fig. 2.
Fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of a detection adjusting unit according to an embodiment of the present application. Referring to fig. 2, the detection adjusting unit 11 includes a voltage detecting unit 13 and a gain adjusting unit 14. The voltage detection unit 13 is connected to the gain adjustment unit 14, the voltage detection unit 13 is connected to the voltage output unit 12, and the gain adjustment unit 14 is connected to the power amplification unit 21.
Referring to fig. 2, the voltage detecting unit 13 is used for detecting the voltage fluctuation of the voltage output unit 12. For example, the voltage detection unit 13 is connected to the voltage output unit 12, and when the voltage output by the voltage output unit 12 fluctuates, the voltage detection unit 13 may receive the fluctuating voltage output by the voltage output unit 12.
The gain adjustment unit 14 is used to adjust the gain of the amplifier 20 inversely according to the voltage fluctuation. For example, the gain adjusting unit 14 is connected to the voltage detecting unit 13, when the voltage detecting unit 13 receives the fluctuating voltage output by the voltage outputting unit 12, the voltage detecting unit 13 may transmit the fluctuating voltage to the gain adjusting unit 14, and when the gain adjusting unit 14 receives the fluctuating voltage, the gain of the amplifier 20 may be inversely adjusted according to the fluctuating voltage, so that the output voltage of the amplifier 20 does not abruptly change with the input fluctuating voltage.
Alternatively, the voltage detection unit 13 may be a capacitor. For example, the voltage detecting unit 13 may be a capacitor with a preset size, when the amplifier 20 circuit operates, the capacitor may prevent the dc voltage from passing through, if the voltage outputting unit 12 outputs a stable voltage, the capacitor may prevent the dc voltage from passing through the capacitor, the gain adjusting unit 14 may not receive the voltage output by the voltage outputting unit 12, and thus the gain of the amplifier 20 may not be adjusted reversely; if the voltage output unit 12 outputs a fluctuating voltage, the fluctuating voltage may be transmitted to the gain adjustment unit 14 through the capacitor, and the gain adjustment unit 14 may receive the voltage output by the voltage output unit 12 and adjust the gain of the amplifier 20 according to the voltage reversal, thereby avoiding the output voltage of the amplifier 20 from changing suddenly and improving the stability of the amplifier 20.
Alternatively, the gain adjustment unit 14 may be an inverting amplifier of the amplifier 20. For example, the gain adjusting unit 14 may be an inverting amplifier opposite to the input terminal and the output terminal of the amplifier 20, and when the amplifier 20 circuit is in operation, if the voltage output by the voltage output unit 12 does not fluctuate, the inverting amplifier may not receive the voltage output by the voltage output unit 12, and at this time, the inverting amplifier may not suppress the gain of the amplifier 20, and if the voltage output by the voltage output unit 12 fluctuates, the inverting amplifier may inversely adjust the gain of the amplifier 20 according to the received fluctuating voltage. For example, if the gain of the amplifier 20 is increased by 10 times, the inverting amplifier may adjust the gain of the amplifier 20 to be increased by 5 times when the voltage output from the voltage output unit 12 is suddenly increased; when the voltage output by the voltage output unit 12 suddenly decreases, the inverting amplifier may adjust the gain of the amplifier 20 to increase by 15 times; the inverting amplifier does not adjust the gain of the amplifier 20 when the voltage output from the voltage output unit 12 is constant.
Alternatively, the voltage detection unit 13 and the gain adjustment unit 14 may be disposed in the amplifier 20 at the same time, so that the internal space of the apparatus in which the amplifier 20 is disposed may be saved. Optionally, the voltage detection unit 13 and the gain adjustment unit 14 may also be disposed outside the amplifier 20 at the same time, or the voltage detection unit 13 is disposed outside the amplifier 20 and the gain adjustment unit 14 is disposed inside the amplifier 20, or the voltage detection unit 13 is disposed inside the amplifier 20 and the gain adjustment unit 14 is disposed outside the amplifier 20, which is not limited in this embodiment. In the practical application process, since the voltage detecting unit can block the passing of the dc voltage, when the voltage is not fluctuated, the gain adjusting unit 14 cannot receive the voltage output by the voltage detecting unit, and when the voltage is fluctuated, the gain adjusting unit 14 receives the voltage output by the voltage detecting unit and inversely adjusts the gain of the amplifier 20 according to the voltage, thereby avoiding the sudden change of the output voltage of the amplifier and improving the stability of the amplifier.
In addition to any of the above embodiments, the structure of the amplifier will be described in detail below with reference to fig. 3.
Fig. 3 is a schematic structural diagram of an amplifier according to an embodiment of the present application. Referring to fig. 3, the amplifier 20 includes a first power amplifying unit 22, a second power amplifying unit 23 and a third power amplifying unit 24. The first power amplification unit 22 is connected to the second power amplification unit 23, and the second power amplification unit 23 is connected to the third power amplification unit 24.
The first power amplifying unit 22 is configured to receive the voltage output by the voltage output unit 12 and amplify the voltage. For example, when the voltage output from the voltage output unit 12 to the first power amplifying unit 22 is small, the first power amplifying unit 22 may receive the voltage and amplify the voltage by a preset multiple. Alternatively, the first power amplifying unit 22 may convert a voltage into a current and amplify the current. For example, when the voltage output unit 12 outputs a voltage to the first power amplifying unit 22, the first power amplifying unit 22 may convert the voltage output by the voltage output unit 12 into a current and amplify the current.
The second power amplifying unit 23 is used for amplifying the voltage output by the first power amplifying unit 22. For example, after the first power amplifying unit 22 amplifies the voltage output by the voltage output unit 12, the second power amplifying unit 23 may receive the voltage output by the first power amplifying unit 22 and further amplify the voltage.
The third power amplifying unit 24 is configured to amplify the voltage output by the second power amplifying unit 23, and convert the amplified voltage into a high-power signal. For example, after the second power amplifying unit 23 further amplifies the voltage output from the first power amplifying unit 22, the third power amplifying unit 24 may receive the voltage output from the second power amplifying unit 23, and after further amplifying the voltage, the third power amplifying unit 24 may convert the amplified voltage into a signal of high power.
Optionally, the first power amplifying unit 22, the second power amplifying unit 23, and the third power amplifying unit 24 may be transistors. For example, the first power amplifying unit 22 may be a preamplifier having a signal amplifying function and configured by a transistor, the second power amplifying unit 23 may be a driver amplifier having a signal amplifying function and configured by a transistor, and the third power amplifying unit 24 may be a final amplifier having a signal amplifying function and configured by a transistor.
Optionally, the input impedance of the first power amplifying unit 22 is high, and the output impedance is low. For example, the input impedance of the first power amplifying unit 22 may be 10 kilo-ohms, and the output impedance may be 20 ohms, so that when a smaller signal is received by the first power amplifying unit 22, the loss of the signal may be reduced, and the output efficiency of the signal may be improved.
Based on the embodiment shown in fig. 3, the structure of the amplifier circuit shown in fig. 3 will be described in further detail below with reference to fig. 4A to 4C.
Fig. 4A is a schematic structural diagram of another amplifier circuit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to fig. 4A, the voltage output unit 12, the voltage detection unit 13, the gain adjustment unit 14, and the amplifier 20 are included, and the amplifier 20 includes a first power amplification unit 22, a second power amplification unit 23, and a third power amplification unit 24. The voltage output unit 12 is connected to the first power amplifying unit 22, the second power amplifying unit 23, and the third power amplifying unit 24 in the amplifier 20, the voltage detection unit 13 is connected to the voltage output unit 12 and the gain adjusting unit 14, and the gain adjusting unit 14 is connected to the second power amplifying unit 23 and the third power amplifying unit 24.
Referring to fig. 4A, the gain adjustment unit 14 is disposed between the second power amplification unit 23 and the third power amplification unit 24, and the gain adjustment unit 14 is configured to adjust a gain of the third power amplification unit 24. In an actual application process, after the second power amplifying unit 23 further amplifies the voltage output by the first power amplifying unit 22, the gain adjusting unit 14 may reversely adjust the voltage output by the second power amplifying unit 23 according to the fluctuating voltage, so that the third power amplifying unit 24 receives the voltage adjusted by the gain adjusting unit 14, and further adjusts the gain of the third power amplifying unit 24, and since the gain adjusting unit 14 is disposed before the third power amplifying unit 24, before the third power amplifying unit 24 performs high-power conversion on the voltage, the gain adjusting unit may accurately adjust the gain of the amplifier, and further, the output effect of the amplifier may be improved.
Fig. 4B is a schematic structural diagram of another amplifier circuit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to fig. 4B, the voltage output unit 12, the voltage detection unit 13, the gain adjustment unit 14, and the amplifier 20 are included, and the amplifier 20 includes a first power amplification unit 22, a second power amplification unit 23, and a third power amplification unit 24. The voltage output unit 12 is connected to the first power amplifying unit 22, the second power amplifying unit 23 and the third power amplifying unit 24 in the amplifier 20, the voltage detection unit 13 is connected to the voltage output unit 12 and the gain adjusting unit 14, and the gain adjusting unit 14 is connected to the first power amplifying unit 22 and the second power amplifying unit 23.
Referring to fig. 4B, the gain adjustment unit 14 is disposed between the first power amplification unit 22 and the second power amplification unit 23, and the gain adjustment unit 14 is configured to adjust the gain of the second power amplification unit 23. In practical applications, after the first power amplifying unit 22 amplifies the smaller voltage output by the voltage output unit 12, the gain adjusting unit 14 may reversely adjust the voltage output by the first power amplifying unit 22 according to the fluctuating voltage, so that the second power amplifying unit 23 receives the voltage adjusted by the gain adjusting unit 14, and then adjusts the gain of the second power amplifying unit 23. Because the gain adjusting unit 14 is disposed before the second power amplifying unit, and before the second power amplifying unit further amplifies the voltage, the voltage is adjusted by the gain adjusting unit 14, so that the deviation of the second power amplifying unit to further amplify the voltage is small, and the stability of the amplifier is improved.
Fig. 4C is a schematic structural diagram of another amplifier circuit according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to fig. 4C, the voltage output unit 12, the voltage detection unit 13, the gain adjustment unit 14, and the amplifier 20 are included, and the amplifier 20 includes a first power amplification unit 22, a second power amplification unit 23, and a third power amplification unit 24. The voltage output unit 12 is connected to the first power amplifying unit 22, the second power amplifying unit 23, and the third power amplifying unit 24 in the amplifier 20, the voltage detection unit 13 is connected to the voltage output unit 12 and the gain adjusting unit 14, and the gain adjusting unit 14 is connected to the first power amplifying unit 22.
Referring to fig. 4C, the gain adjustment unit 14 is disposed at the input end of the first power amplification unit 22, and the gain adjustment unit 14 is configured to adjust the gain of the first power amplification unit 22. In an actual application process, before the first power amplifying unit 22 receives the smaller voltage output by the voltage output unit 12, the gain adjusting unit 14 may reversely adjust the voltage output by the voltage output unit 12 according to the fluctuating voltage, so that the first power amplifying unit 22 receives the voltage adjusted by the gain adjusting unit 14, and further adjusts the gain of the first power amplifying unit 22. Because the gain adjustment unit 14 is disposed at the input end of the first power amplification unit, before the first power amplification unit amplifies the voltage output by the voltage output unit 12, the voltage is adjusted by the gain adjustment unit 14, so that interference suffered by the first power amplification unit can be reduced.

In the practical application process, when the voltage output by the voltage output unit fluctuates greatly, the detection adjusting unit can detect the change of the voltage and reversely adjust the gain of the power amplifier according to the change of the voltage, and when the voltage output by the voltage output unit is suddenly increased or suddenly reduced, the gain of the power amplifier can still be kept stable, so that the stability of the power amplifier is improved. When the positions of the gain adjusting units are different, the control unit can adjust the reverse gain multiple of the gain adjusting unit and the gain multiple of the first power amplifying unit, the second power amplifying unit and the third power amplifying unit according to the positions of the gain adjusting units, so that the power amplifier can work under different conditions, and the performance of the power amplifier is improved.
