The second connector comprises a second insulating shell 7, a second positioning piece 5 and a terminal 6, wherein the second positioning piece 5 comprises a second connecting end 5a and a socket end 5b which are opposite, the second connecting end 5a is arranged in the second insulating shell 7, the socket end 5b extends along a first direction, the socket end 5b is provided with a groove 511, and the inner side wall of the socket end 5b is provided with a second buckle 512; the terminal 6 is disposed through the second positioning member 5 in the first direction.
When the first connector and the second connector are mated along the first direction, the first latch 42 and the second latch 512 are latched to each other.
In the electrical connector assembly, when the first connector and the second connector are matched along the first direction, the plug end 4b of the first connector is inserted into the groove 511 of the socket end 5b of the second connector, so that the first connector and the second connector can be tightly matched; meanwhile, the first catch 42 of the first positioning member 4 and the second catch 512 of the second positioning member 5 are fastened to each other. Therefore, the first connector and the second connector can be automatically locked with each other, and even if the first connector and the second connector are accidentally acted by external force, the first connector and the second connector are not easy to separate from each other, so that the connection reliability and stability of the first connector and the second connector are improved. In addition, when the first connector and the second connector are coupled, the first latch 42 of the first connector is received in the groove 511 of the second connector, so that the overall appearance of the electrical connector assembly is smooth and beautiful.
In particular embodiments, the first connector and the second connector are each substantially cylindrical. The plug end 4b is cylindrical and the groove 511 of the socket end 5b is cylindrical, the inner diameter of the groove 511 being equal to the outer diameter of the plug end 4b, so that the plug end 4b can be fitted with the groove 511 of the socket end 5 b.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the first latch 42 includes a fixed end 422 and a pressing end 421 opposite to each other, and a latch 423 disposed between the fixed end 422 and the pressing end 421, the fixed end 422 is connected to the body 41, the pressing end 421 is disposed on the outer side of the body 41, and the latch 423 is disposed on a side of the first latch 42 away from the body 41. In this manner, when it is necessary to release the mutual interlocking timing of the first connector and the second connector, the catching protrusion 423 and the second catching 512 can be disengaged from each other by pressing the pressing end 421 so that the first catching 42 is elastically deformed toward the body 41.
Specifically, in the embodiment, the first latch 42 extends lengthwise along a first direction, the fixed end 422 of the first latch 42 is connected to the plug end 4b of the body 41, the pressing end 421 of the first latch 42 extends toward the first connection end 4a, and the latch 423 is disposed between the pressing end 421 and the fixed end 422 and located on a side of the first latch 42 away from the body 41.
Further, the first buckle 42 further includes a pressing protrusion 4211, and the pressing protrusion 4211 is vertically disposed on a side of the pressing end 421 facing away from the body 41. In this manner, the pressing operation of the pressing end 421 is facilitated.
Further, the cross-sectional shape of the snap projection 423 is a right triangle or a right trapezoid, a side of the snap projection 423 facing the first connection end 4a is a vertical surface, and a side of the snap projection 423 facing the plug end 4b is an inclined surface.
In the embodiment of the present invention, an external thread is disposed on an outer side wall of the first connection end 4a of the first positioning member 4, and the first connection end 4a is in threaded connection with the first insulating housing 2.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the outer side wall of the first positioning member 4 is provided with a positioning protrusion 412, and the cross-sectional shape of the positioning protrusion 412 is rectangular. Specifically, the positioning projection 412 is ring-shaped. Therefore, the first connector and the second connector can be ensured to be inserted in place.
In the embodiment of the present invention, an annular groove 413 is formed on an outer sidewall of the plug end 4b of the first positioning member 4, and a sealing ring (not shown) is disposed in the annular groove 413. The outer diameter of the terminal 6 is larger than the inner diameter of the sleeve 3.
