Fig. 1 is a sectional view of an oil level gauge provided in an embodiment of the present disclosure, and as shown in fig. 1, the oil level gauge includes an oil pipe 10, a float 20, a magnet 30, a thermometer 40, a magnetic level gauge 50, and a pressure relief valve 60.
The oil pipe 10 is a hollow pipe string, one end of the float 20 is slidably disposed in the oil pipe 10, and the other end of the float 20 extends out of the oil pipe 10. The magnet 30 is fixedly disposed on the float 20 and is located within the oil pipe 10. The tubing 10 has opposite first and second ends. The first end of the oil pipe 10 is provided with a connection portion 11 for connection with an oil-filled electrical device, and a pressure relief valve 60 is provided at the second end of the oil pipe 10 and is detachably and sealingly connected with the oil pipe 10.

In one implementation of the present disclosure, there is a gap between the float 20 and the inner wall of the oil pipe 10 so that oil can flow from the gap between the float 20 and the inner wall of the oil pipe 10 to the oil-immersed electrical equipment connected to the oil level gauge without taking out the float 20 when the oil filling operation is performed.
In another implementation of the present disclosure, the float 20 has a hollowed pattern thereon, which communicates with the oil pipe 10 and the outside. When the oil filling operation is performed, the oil can flow from the hollowed pattern on the float 20 to the oil-immersed electrical equipment connected to the oil level gauge.
In yet another implementation of the present disclosure, there is a gap between the float 20 and the inner wall of the oil pipe 10, and the float 20 has a hollowed-out pattern thereon.
Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view of a float provided in an embodiment of the present disclosure, and as shown in fig. 3, a blind pipe escape groove 20a extending in a length direction of the float 20 is provided on a sidewall of the float 20, and the blind pipe 20 is positioned in the blind pipe escape groove 20 a. When the float 20 moves up and down in the oil pipe 10, the blind pipe 12 is positioned in the blind pipe avoiding groove 20a to prevent the blind pipe 12 from interfering with the movement of the float 20.
In this embodiment, the length of the blind pipe avoiding groove 20a is smaller than the axial length of the float 20, so that the blind pipe 12 can also play a role in blocking to prevent the float 20 from being too high in the oil pipe 10.

It should be noted that the bottom of the thermometer 40 may extend out of the blind pipe 12 to facilitate the detection of the temperature of the oil in the oil pipe 10. The maximum level of oil in the oil pipe 10 does not exceed the open end of the blind pipe 12.
Alternatively, the thermometer viewing window 10a may be a sealed chamber formed of double glazing, and the double glazing may function to magnify the thermometer readings.
