Detailed Description
Reference will now be made to embodiments of the present application, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. The present application uses the same drawing element numbers as much as possible in the drawings and the description to refer to the same or similar parts.
Fig. 1 is a schematic perspective view illustrating an electronic device 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, fig. 2 is an exploded schematic view illustrating the electronic device 100 of fig. 1, and fig. 3 is a schematic cross-sectional view illustrating the electronic device 100 along a line 3-3 of fig. 1. Please refer to fig. 1 to fig. 3. The electronic device 100 includes a housing 110, a key 120, a light emitting module 130, a circuit board 140, and a switch 150. For convenience of illustration, the electronic device 100 is illustrated as a notebook computer in fig. 1, but the electronic device 100 may also be a desktop computer, a tablet computer, or other electronic devices 100 having a housing 110, a key 120, a light emitting module 130, a circuit board 140 and a switch 150, which is not limited herein and will be described in advance.
The housing 110 has an opening 112 and an accommodating space 114, and the accommodating space 114 is connected to the opening 112. In detail, the opening 112 is located at an outer side (e.g., a side close to a user) of the housing 110, and the accommodating space 114 is located at an inner side (e.g., a side far from the user) of the housing 110 to accommodate components such as the circuit board 140.
The key 120 is disposed in the opening 112. The light emitting module 130 includes a light source 132 and a light guide plate 134, and the light emitting module 130 is disposed in the groove 124 of the key 120. That is, the light sources 132 and the light guide plate 134 are both disposed in the grooves 124 of the keys 120. The light emitted from the light source 132 can be concentrated to the middle of the key 120 for the user to operate conveniently. The Light Emitting source 132 may be a Light-Emitting Diode (LED). As shown in fig. 2 and 3, since the light emitting module 130 is disposed in the groove 124 of the key 120, the key 120 completely covers the light guide plate 134. Thus, the effect of avoiding light leakage can be achieved.
The circuit board 140 is disposed in the accommodating space 114. The switch 150 is disposed on the circuit board 140. The switch 150 and the light guide plate 134 are respectively located at two opposite sides of the circuit board 140. In detail, the light emitted by the light source 132 can be focused at the middle position of the key 120, and the position of the switch 150 disposed on the circuit board 140 can correspond to the middle position. That is, the position of the switch 150 and the position of the light emitted by the light source 132 focused on the key 120 are located at the same horizontal position. By the above arrangement, it is helpful for the user to press the middle position of the key 120 (i.e. the concentrated position of the light emitted by the light source 132), so as to achieve the effect of consistent pressing force and hand feeling.
In some embodiments, electronic device 100 further includes a colloid ring 160. The elastomer ring 160 is disposed on the outer edge 122 of the key 120. In detail, the rubber ring 160 is attached to the outer edge 122 of the key 120, so that the key 120 is fixed to the circuit board 140 through the rubber ring 160. That is, the key 120 and the circuit board 140 can be connected via the rubber ring 160 and can be seen as a whole. In this way, the light guide plate 134 can be sealed between the key 120 and the circuit board 140, which helps to concentrate light and achieve the effect of no light leakage.
In some embodiments, the adhesive ring 160 directly contacts the key 120 and the circuit board 140 to fix the key 120 and the circuit board 140. The colloid ring 160 may be designed to have a four-sided hollow shape. In some embodiments, the shape of the glue ring 160 is the same as the shape of the outer edge 122 of the key 120, which helps to achieve material saving.
In some embodiments, the electronic device 100 further includes a support structure 170. The supporting structure 170 is disposed in the accommodating space 114, and the supporting structure 170 is attached to the housing 110. In some embodiments, the supporting structure 170 and the key 120 are respectively located on two opposite sides of the circuit board 140. That is, the button 120, the light guide plate 134 and the rubber ring 160 are disposed on one side of the circuit board 140, and the switch 150 and the supporting structure 170 are disposed on the other opposite side of the circuit board 140.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 3, switch 150 is located in gap G between support structure 170 and circuit board 140. One side of the switch 150 is attached to the circuit board 140 and the other side of the switch 150 is adjacent to the support structure 170. Since the key 120 is connected to the circuit board 140 via the glue ring 160, when the key 120 is pressed, the switch 150 is brought into contact with the support structure 170. In this way, the switch 150 is driven to make the light emitting sources 132 of the light emitting module 130 emit light. At this time, the middle position of the key 120 is the bright point position. Further, since the switch 150 is located in the gap G between the supporting structure 170 and the circuit board 140, no matter the user presses the key 120 at any angle or any position, the switch 150 can contact the supporting structure 170, and further trigger the light source 132 of the light emitting module 130 to emit light. That is, as long as the switch 150 contacts any point on the supporting structure 170, the light emitting edge 132 of the light emitting module 130 is triggered to emit light. Thus, by the arrangement of the electronic device 100, the effect that the pressing force and the hand feeling of the user are consistent can be achieved.
In some embodiments, the width of the switch 150 is substantially smaller than the width of the gap G, so that when the key 120 is pressed, the switch 150 can advance a certain distance to contact the supporting structure 170, and further trigger the light emitting source 132 of the light emitting module 130 to emit light.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 3, the vertical projection of the switch 150 on the housing 110 overlaps the vertical projection of the key 120 on the housing 110. For example, the vertical projection of the switch 150 on the housing 110 is located in the middle of the vertical projection of the key 120 on the housing 110.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 3, the housing 110 has a first portion 116 and a second portion 118, and the second portion 118 is connected to the first portion 116. The first portion 116 of the housing 110 contacts the keys 120 and the second portion 118 of the housing 110 contacts the support structure 170. That is, the keys 120 and the supporting structure 170 contact two opposite sides of the housing 110, respectively.
In some embodiments, the keys 120 protrude from the opening 112 of the housing 110. In detail, a portion of the key 120 protrudes from the surface of the housing 110 for the user to press, and another portion of the key 120 is located in the opening 112. In some embodiments, the casing 110 completely covers the supporting structure 170, and a portion of the key 120 is exposed outside the casing 110.
In some embodiments, the keys 120 are made of a plastic material. When the user presses the key 120, the problem caused by too large deformation degree can be avoided. In some embodiments, the key 120 is integrally formed and has the advantages of simple structure and robustness. In some embodiments, the key 120 is made of a transparent material, which helps to concentrate light to the outside of the key 120, so as to facilitate the operation of the user, thereby improving the operation experience of the user.
In some embodiments, circuit board 140 may be a Printed Circuit Board (PCB). The support structure 170 is made of a rigid material such that the support structure 170 does not deform when in contact with the switch 150.
In some embodiments, the length of the circuit board 140 is greater than the length of the support structure 170. In some embodiments, the length of the support structure 170 is greater than the length of the key 120.
To sum up, the present application provides an electronic device, which includes a housing, a key, a light emitting module, a circuit board and a switch. Because the switch and the light guide plate are respectively positioned at two opposite sides of the circuit board, the operation hand feeling of a user can be improved, and light can be concentrated to the middle position of the key, so that the problem of light leakage is avoided.
